Saddlemen Highwayman Slant Saddlebags

These are nice bags. I have no complaints. There isn't an easy way to lock them up, but I'll figure something out for that. They are well constructed and for the price, a super deal. As always, motorcycle-superstore rocks.

Nice

I really like the saddlebags a lot. It sure is better than a backpack to put my stuff in. They fit my honda 750 shadow really good and they look good too.

the bags were very good quality, the over all fit was like they were made for the bike. Installation was a little hard but I would recommend this product and your store to everyone I know. Great service and product I will be buying more from your store.

pretty good especially for the price

I bought these for a honda shadow aero 750 2007. I got a large and had no problem with clearance of my pipes even after a v&h upgrade. They are pretty stiff and seem like they will last at least a good couple of seasons. The can hold a decent amount of stuff. I use them to carry extra clothes and lunches to work. No relocation needed.

Saddleman bags

Fit bike with no problem. Front of bag’s a little flimsy but not bad. I would recommend them to a friend.

Nice Bags

These bags are nice, very sturdy and they close securely. I did have to alter the way the bag mounted to my TU250X as the strings it came with did not hold it as I wanted. The construction and size are great. I can fit sneakers and my lunch with a little room to spare in one of the bags. I would recommend this item but be mindful you might have to be creative with the mounting.

Everything I read about these bags was true. The quality is good and they were very easy to install. If I’m ever looking for more luggage for my motorcycle I’ll look to the Saddlemen products first.

The bags fit good. Thought the yokes were zip offs not sown on and thought they would be bigger.

Good bags for the $$$

VERY decent equipment at this price range (price included UPS 3 day!) Sturdy and spacious. My only gripe would be the attachment system and instructions, but with a little ingenuity(and some zip ties ;)) am quite pleased.

So far, so good

Just installed a size Large on an '06 Honda Shadow Aero 750 equipped with cobra bag supports. Can't comment yet on durability, but the construction seems good. The fit and look of this size on this bike are good. The bags hold their shape well, and will accommodate a surprising amount of stuff. Velcro on the end flaps of the box lid provides some redundancy with the straps, but makes opening and closing a bit awkward. As others have pointed out, installation requires a bit of fussing- common for throw bags- as well as some plastic ties. A functional, no-frills, classic looking set of bags at a good price.

You Get what You Pay

Relatively easy to put on - just fussing with the threading and the string ties to the support brackets. I'll probably replace those some day for a tighter more secure fit. Quick release buckles would really make these usable. Good buy for the money!

Saddlebags

The bags are really nice. I originally thought about buying the smaller size but I am glad I went larger. They look real good on my Vulcan 900. Installation was a bit of a challenge. With some tweaking I think we got it right. I was surprised at how archaic the installation was for saddlebags that were not factory installed. It really is just a matter of tying them on. Anyway - for the price I am very happy and will buy from you again.
