Alpinestars Tech 10 Boots - 2013

Capping off an extraordinary legacy and product line, the Tech 10 represents the pinnacle of motocross boot technology. Learning from the iconic Tech 8, Alpinestars took what worked and added industry firsts like, a slim bonded sole, a bootie with ankle torsion bar support and a double hinge joint. The end result is a motocross boot that gives the control and protection that others can only strive to copy.
  • Revolutionary external structure features ultra low profile design to minimize weight at the lower section of the boot and upper design developed for controlled flexibility, streamlined profile and superior grip against the bike
  • Innovative biomechanical inner bootie provides the ultimate in support and safety. Torsion bars control ankle and leg rotation, while allowing freedom of movement. Bootie structure features PU protection and shock absorbing padding on the heel and ankles and an ultra thin and flexible forefoot area for increased feeling of the controls. Perforated bootie is washable and replaceable
  • Innovative PU spine protects the heel, controls flex and features a hyperextension guard
  • Outer side of the boot features anti-torsion PU panel on the ankle for flexibility and support
  • New and exclusive dual compound sole is seamlessly integrated to the multi-density foot base structure with built-in support. Sole provides superior durability, grip, feel and a high level of structural rigidity
  • Advanced closure system features 3 techno-polymer and aluminum buckles for easy adjustability with a precise, secure and streamlined fit. Buckles feature memory, a quick release/locking system and a self-aligning design for easy and precise closure. 3 buckle system works in conjunction with the entire internal structure to provide excellent support and flexibility
**Note: White/Black model features airflow ventilation system

**Closeouts are limited to stock on hand**

Great Boots!

I have had my set of Tech 10’s for about a year and a half now and they have been great boots. They feel like you are wearing shoes not boots. My one complaint is the top buckle comes unsnapped every once and a while. But overall they are great boots and are well worth the money!

Best Made

When I thought about buying these boots, I thought they were just shiny boots made to look good, and the price was through the roof. After I bought these and tried them out with my KTM on a trial ride, I’ve got say they’re the best boots ever made.

Best boots out there

Once you put these on you feel really safe, they are a little heavy, but don’t mind, these are the most beautiful boots in market, bet they are a little expensive.

Best I've seen

I have been riding for 40 years. I now have 5 bikes and have had many boots. Got my first pair of tech 10s in 2007. Felt like sneakers from the first day. Boots are still in use and are fine after 4 years. Awesome comfort and protection. They do get dirty but stand up well even with little care. I am shopping for a new pair now - a pair for my Hondas and One for KTM.

Great boot but the inner booty killed my ankle

I wore them around the house and they felt great but the first ride I wore them the inside of both ankles hurt real bad. Besides them hurting they were great no water got it and no break in needed. I'm gonna try the tech 7s without the booty and hopefully they don't give me pain like these did.

Tech 10

But them at least one size larger maybe 2. Beautiful but very stiff it will take about 20 hours to break these in. TIP! Use the Alpinestars Socks they are tapered in the correct places.

The most uncomfortable boot I've ever put my foot in

The internal ankle pivot booties gouge your ankles. Once you put them on you'll see. Like I said, the most uncomfortable boot I've ever tried on and I've been riding since 1995. They are also larger and even more bulky than some traditional soled boots. I have worn sidi SRS for 3 years, and I can say the tech10's are less quality, far more clumsy, and are probably destroying ankles out there by the dozen. The tech 3 or tech 8 are far better boots.

Will never buy Alpinestars again

I have a pair of 1.5 year old Tech10s that had the upper buckle receiver bust. In order for me to fix it myself I will need to drill out the rivet and cut the internal liner, effectively ruining the boot (in my eyes), so I wanted Astars to do it while I’m down from surgery. After several false starts due to snotty customer service agents I finally found someone that told me I could send in my boot to be fixed for free; all I would pay is shipping. I received a call letting me know that the boot is defective due to a nearly broken Achilles strap and they cannot be liable when fixing my buckle. Apparently the Achilles strap is about to give out and is unfixable, so the whole boot is now defective...Alpinestars answer is to offer me a new set of boots for $409. I did love the fit and feel of these boots, but for $450+, I expected them to make it to the 2 year mark. Unacceptable in my eyes.
