Product Information

Shinko 777 Whitewall Rear Tire

The value is a given but the Shinko 777 Whitewall is also a very good tire in its own right. Made for cruisers, the tread of the 777 delivers good mileage and predictable all weather handling. It also happens to look very nice as well with its clean whitewall sides.

Great Tires For The Price

These tires are great for the price. I used it for a year riding everywhere I needed to go. It has great traction and a very soft tire. If you don't ride as often as I do, This tire will last a long time, but considering the price and quality, it's a great tire!

Shinko whitewalls for my 1999 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Classic.

The rear Shinko is a near perfect tire but the front has cupping but other then that, its fine.

Shinko 777

I purchased my first set of Shinkos in spring of 2015. 4000 miles later, front tire tread still looks good but back tire is totally bald. It rode very smooth over cracks in road etc. but not happy with mileage. Going back to harder rubber.

Awesome!

Great tire and long life! I love the stability and the cornering or this tire! Best Value without paying Marked up shop pricing for tires! With quotes around town from 570 to 680.00, I got a set of these, with installation was right around 215.00! Who would not want to save a minimum of 355.00! Great ride and handling at low or high speeds! Also works great with dual riders on long trips! A++++

Great tire for the $$$

I have used the Shinko tire for the rear of my 2000 Road King before. I was disappointed by the width of the white wall. It was considerably more narrow than the the Dunlop but this new 777 matches perfectly to the front Dunlop. I was pleasantly surprised! My bike is heavy and I ride 2-up a lot so I go through rear tires fast. The Shinko lasts just as long as the Dunlop at a fraction of the cost. Handles well. Looks great. Great buy!

Good Traction - Soft Side Wall

I ride a 2014 Street Glide. Positive, it sticks well to the road in corners and even with hole shots. I was caught in the rain and was a bit lose on asphalt on concrete it did well. Negative. This thing gives my bike a ton of head shake when I give the bike a hard input (push/pull) on the bars. Tread Life: only have 300miles on tire, can't give positive feed back Wouldn't buy again.

Very Good Tire

I am very happy with this tire. Had it put on just before heading to Sturgis. Cornering and stability are very good. I hsd no problems with dry traction. It has only been hot, so I haven't ridden in rain which leaves me with no comment on wet traction. Great price and fast shipping.

Great tire great price!

On my third set of 777s and am really happy with how they've transformed the handling and stability of my RoadStar! I can't recommend them enough. I'm only giving the Tread Life 4 stars based on past experience with the old 777s. I'm hoping the new HD [Heavy Duty] tire, which should last longer, will earn the extra star. Same with Wet Traction. ...Time will tell.

shinko 777 rear tire not good for electra glide

I put a Shinko 777 on the rear of my 2000 Electra Glide Classic and it now has just over 3,000 miles on it and it's bald. Had I known the tread life to be so short for this tire on big cruisers I would have gone with a Dunlop HD402. They cost more (260 installed) but have a tread rating of 10,000 miles or more. I would have to put 3 to 4 Shinkos on which in the long run would cost me 3 times more than one Dunlop. Lesson learned.

Just Trash

The 777's are absolute trash. No hard cornering, no burnouts, and no hard braking or acceleration just to and from work (10 miles) and long lazy rides in the country side. I have put 4,236 miles on the tires and while the front still looks fairly new the center of the rear tire is smoked (cord showing in the dead center). I thought maybe the rear tire was mis-aligned and took it to a local independent shop who confirmed rear wheel is dead center. Bottom line I will NEVER buy Shinko tires again.

Great Tire

Unbeatable price, gorgeous looking and a definite improvement over the OEM Dunlops D-401F. Takes some elbow grease to keep those whitewalls clean.
