    Shinko 777 Whitewall Rear Tire

The value is a given but the Shinko 777 Whitewall is also a very good tire in its own right. Made for cruisers, the tread of the 777 delivers good mileage and predictable all weather handling. It also happens to look very nice as well with its clean whitewall sides.

Unbeatable price, gorgeous looking and a definite improvement over the OEM Dunlops D-401F. Takes some elbow grease to keep those whitewalls clean.

    WOW - shinko 777 - great tire

I gave a review about a year ago on a set I installed on my 2010 1700 Vulcan at 13k miles. I had 10k on them then a year ago when I gave my review. I have 32k plus miles now on the bike. That is about 19k miles on these tires. They still run great even with about 5-6k more miles on the rear. Front looks new still. Guess what tires I'm gonna buy next? Ummm... Shinko 777's. Darn things run great, ride great and wear great! No brainer I think.

    Great tires

I have had several kinds of tires on my 2000 1500 Kawasaki Drifter. I do not trailer, I ride it. Out of all the tires I have had on my bike in the last 90,000 + miles I like the Shinko 777 wide whites the best. They are great on both wet and dry pavement. I will be putting them back on my Drifter plus they will be put on my wife's 2004 Kawasaki 1600 Classic and her 2005 Kawasaki Drifter. The best overall tire I have owned.

Good tires, great price, big whitewalls on my Royal star1300 cruiser. I've bought these for my other bikes and keep getting them when I need tires, Motorcycle Superstore's price can't be beat! Install price was $80, so about $300 total for new skins! See you at Sturgis!

    Handles great but.....

The quickest wearing rear tire so far compared to the Dunlop D401 and D404 rear. I have a Shinko whitewall on the front and it is doing great that is why I went with one on the rear. I don't think I have 3,000 miles on it....first time I had to change rear tires in the same year. I ride a beautiful 2002 Road King Classic and I do down shift to slow down. Traction and cornering is great on it though....but I hardly ever ride in the rain.

Just put a set on the front and back. Best money I've ever spent on a set of tires. I ride a 96 Roadking and man she feels like shes on rails.

    Shinko 777

I bought these tires for that wide white look and the reasonable price. I am buying again for the wet and dry traction and grip. The wear for me is better than anything else I have had on the bike, two kinds of Bridgestone's and a set of Metzler's. I have about 15k miles on the pair and the front still has at least 7k left.

I didnt expect much for the price but I was really surprised at the huge improvement on my Royal Star Venture over the worn Dunlop. Like a whole new bike. Wish they made a front that fit.

In an attempt to save a few bucks, I gave these Shinko's a try. I'm not at all sorry I tried them. I have found I can lean quite deep and they stick well on dry pavement and have had no issues on wet. I put them on as a set to remove any variables I could. Overall, I am quite pleased with their performance. Mileage is going to be the unknown factor for a long while and will update as I know more.

good looking and good performance, disappointed tread life

I am very easy on my tires, no rapid acceleration or braking. The bike takes me to and from work (freeway). I got only 10K miles on this tire before the fabric was showing through the rubber. Save your money, buy Michelins.

These tires probably hold the road far better than any other tire I have used in the last 90K miles. Great performance also means that they don't last as long. But due to the great price, I will be buying them again and again. Prompt delivery and low pricing equals a happy return customer. Thank you MCSS!

A great tire. It looks good, corners great and has good stability at speed. I'm running this on a 1995 Heritage Softail and I think I'll buy more.

Good Looks, but Poor Tread Life

The tires look great and were much less than the Commander IIs that they replaced, but the tread life has been disappointing. I have only 10K miles on the rear and if we were getting the rain we ought be getting, I'd need a new rear as there is less than 1/32 of tread remaining. The Commander IIs lasted over 20K miles and I'll likely go back to that tire for my next set. Too bad, because the white walls look great!
