A TIRE FOR ALL SEASONS

I use my bike every day, every season, rain, shine, or snow. This tire seems to take the challenge and respond nimbly.

michelin anakee 2

Great tire, installed on vstrom after 2 sets of trailwings. Much better ride, corners very neutral and looks more aggressive.

Anakee 2

This is my first pair of Anakee's. I put them on my DL650 then drove 4200 miles to one of the most remote places in North America. They did great. After the trip there was a small flat spot from all the miles on pavement, but the twenty miles of sand at the end is where they shined.

I love this tire

If you can get this tire then DO IT! I have over 17,000 miles on this front tire alone. I was just in Cabo, Mexico (Baja) when the tire hit the replace mark. I then road another 2,000 miles on this tire and it's still got some tread life left!

Michelin-Anakee 2 Adventure Touring Front&Rear tires

Installed 2 weeks ago on my DL650. Went on an 8-day trip through Idaho and Oregon. Put on 4600kms, 25 percent gravel and lots of twisty black top. Rain & shine these tires are GREAT!!! Definitely a quality purchase.

Anakee Tires

I was thinking of getting a different bike until I put a set of Anakee's on my DL1000 and now I have a different handling bike! The Trailwings are not even in the same class as these tires. Matter of fact- any manufacturer still using anything but Anakees as their stock tire is truly not showing the true potential of their bike!

Phenomenal Adventure Tire for Everyday Use

Anakee II has been a great upgrade for the original for me. All the good traits of the original Anakee such as wet weather traction and versatility remain with dramatically increased tread life. I am getting a minimum of 25% improved wear on the Anakee II. While no means an off road tire, brief jaunts on gravel roads are not an issue.

Tread Life!

This was the first set of tires I put on my V-Strom 650 after I bought it used. I just took them off at 11,904 miles - but not because they're worn down! I needed to put on a knobbier tire for a ride coming up this fall. I estimate the rear tire has about 5,000 left in it, and I'm not sure the front will ever wear down. Not the most aggressive tire, but they'll handle anything when it's dry. Amazing traction on wet pavement, though.

Very noisy

This seems like a great tire, but it's really loud. It's like a super swamper on a Jeep. I'd rate it as a far superior tire to the stock trailwings on my V-strom.

Michelin Anakee 2 Front and Rear

I recently installed these tires (HR speed rating) on a 2011 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom and they are fantastic, I used them on my 2007 Aprilia Caponord as well..... excellent ride and handling qualities in wet and dry weather. Both bikes handled like they were on rails in high speed mountain roads at full gross weight. I typically travel on 2000+ mile trips over a 7-14 day trip across the western USA and Canada.
