Dunlop Geomax MX51 Intermediate Terrain Front Tire
The most commonly used tire in professional supercross and motocross, the Dunlop Geomax MX51 sets the standard in what traction feels like. Labeled as an intermediate terrain front tire, the MX51 is nonetheless comfortable in a wide variety of conditions. Motocross, off-road and enduro, this is a tire that is solid all the way round.

    Features:
    • New design profile with “more volume” for excellent cornering grip and improved ride comfort
    • Recessed biting edges for greater cornering traction and rut performance in a wider range of terrain conditions
    • Tie-bar for increased block stiffness and recess design for improved medium-to-harder terrain performance
    • Unique “cross stitch” shoulder block distribution for better traction and grip in medium-to-medium-hard conditions
    • Larger radius block base for strength and increased durability

Dunlop - you know it's going to work great!

My YZ 125 is mainly for having fun on tracks, and an occasional desert race. The Dunlop on our AZ motcross tracks reigns supreme. I've run other tires, just to comfort myself that I'm not missing an opportunity with another brand. I'm always coming home to Dunlops.

Good all around tire. I put a set on my KTM 250 XC-W, the rocks in Arizona eat tires. The Geomax are not doing too bad.

Great tire. I have used this tire before and will use again. Good grip. stability and cornering. Tread life is a little short but that is to be expected with an intermediate.

    Lose but ok

Hello, We run 50's, KTM mini, CRF and Cobra Jr. I first tried the mx31 and it was very lose compared to the ms2 Michelin starcross. Then tried the mx51, still lose but better than the mx31. I have 2 crf50's I ride with my kids. I put a starcross on one and the mx51 on the other. Starcross is 100% better on front and back. Too bad they stopped selling them. Now I do run the mx51 on the rears (not bad) and still try to pick up the ms2 for the fronts. I believe they still sell them in the UK.

    Awesome tire!!! KLX110

This tire is great. Really grips in the mud and corners. But dry traction is great too. Would recommend this tire for a trail rider. Don't know about the tread life, but it is holding up great.

    MX51

Bike: 2013 KTM 250 SX (2-stroke). Rear MX 51: Solid all around tire. It's performance in soft terrain surprised me. Does a solid job with hard terrain as well. Front MX51: Does a solid job with soft terrain. The downside, the harder the track gets (I ride MX only) the worse this tire performs. It is completely terrible in any hard stuff and loves to wander. Ther Bridgestone 403/404 ar much better overall choices in intermidiate to hard terrain.

    Great intermediate front

I mainly ride trails and so far this tire is performing well. It seems to do well in a wide variety of terrain. I initially tried the MX31 (soft tire) but found it would "let go" on slightly firm terrain. This tire is performing much better.

    Donlop, Bring back the 756!!

This tire sucks compared to the 756 for Texas and loamy soft soil. It loses traction on turn in and acceleration leaving a turn. Now 756 are hard to find and everyone that I know prefers them.
