not really thermal at all - very nice otherwise

Compared to my summer compression they're nearly identical in construction, which bummed me. Didn't provide much protection. For $6 less, got some true thermal compression from Starter. Starter is starting to have threads come loose, but I want real thermal compression. Ride a sport bike & ride until there is salt on the roads. I wouldn't recommend these as thermal compression, but are nice & would recommend for compression above 60.

An O.K. product for the price

Although it didn't exactly impress me, this base layer seemed to perform its basic function. And for the price, especially compared to other brands, I'm not going to complain too much. I was wearing it for a few days on a motorcycle trip to keep the knee/shin protectors from rubbing up against my legs too much and to provide a little extra warmth. It didn't seem to keep my legs very warm but otherwise worked just fine.

Nice second skin

Microfiber/Under Armor style pants are great. Stretchable material keeps you warm at 40 degrees and 75 MPH at night. Does not shrink like your old cotton thermals used to.

Underpants

This is great for 45-50 degree cold. It is undetectable underneath jeans and other pants. You can pull it down to cover your heal and ankle. Keeps you warm. Would recommend and buy again.

MSR Pants

Similar to under armor type. The waist band is pretty wide which helps the comfort. Fit is fine. Have only worn them once.

A Must Have

These skins are now part of my riding gear for any two-wheeled sports: cycling, mtb, dirt bike, street riding. If you are a motorcyclist you must own a pair. They fit and feel great. I won't go riding without them.

Good stuff!

I purchased these for dirt bike riding, but now I won’t snowboard without them, either. I am 6'1" and the legs are plenty long enough, overall very comfortable.
