Dynojet Power Commander V

The Power Commander V is the perfect choice when performing stage one upgrades to your motorcycle. Changing your motorcycle's air cleaner and exhaust systems will require adjusting your fuel mixture. Dynojet is a well known and respected name in the industry, and the Power Commander V is their top of the line fuel management system.

Retaining the famed user friendliness of the Power Commander III, the Power Commander V offers those same features in a smaller package. Additionally, the Power Commander V offers you the ability to tune your fuel injection and the ignition timing, giving you unparalleled performance for your motorcycle.

The Dynojet Power Commander V includes a large database of maps for a wide selection of motorcycle makes and models. You can also create a customized map to suit your unique riding style and requirements.

  • The Dynojet Power Commander V offers reduced size from PC 3 USB (less than half of the size of PC 3)
  • The USB on the Power Commander V is powered from your computer (9 volt adapter is no longer needed for programming)
  • Dynojet offers a built-in 2 position map switching function on the Power Commander V (map switch not included)
  • The Power Commander V features a Gear/Speed input (which allows for map adjustment based on gear and speed)
  • Dynojet included an analog input that allows you to install any 0-5 volt sensor and build an adjustment table based on its input such as boost or temperature
  • With gear position input connected the Power Commander V is capable of allowing each cylinder to be mapped individually and for each gear (for example: on a 4 cylinder bike with a six speed transmission there could be up to 24 separate fuel tables)
  • The Power Commander V has a -100/+250% fuel change range (up from -100/+100%). This allows more adjustment range for 8 injector sportbikes
  • The Power Commander V features enhanced “accel pump” utility (increased adjustment and sensitivity ranges)
  • The Dynojet Power Commander V is made in the USA
Power Commander V units for Harley Davidson also include:
  • Fuel and Timing control
  • Rev Xtend
  • “Warm Up” fuel adjustment (unit reads engine temp and allows fuel/timing adjustments based on it)
  • Software will display J1850 data from bikes’ stock ECU (this is data such as temp, fuel pulse width, timing advance, spark knock, etc.)

**Notes:
  • The Power Commander V is not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles
  • Aprilia RSV4 model includes S.F.M.

2012 RZR 800s

Installation was easy enough. All waterproof connections and almost every plug connects to existing connectors. Added the autotuner and started up first try. Better running and felt like an increase in power. Bonus round next, it was the only tuner that had a display option to add. So go climb a mountain!

Awesome Product

I had a 2007 R1 with a power commander 5 Graves full race exhaust and professionally tuned. And, you know those bikes only make a hundred and forty-nine horsepower stock mine was tuned to 172.8 the bad is R1 in the Midwest... Better ask somebody.

This is an excellent product if you use the auto tuner along with it. The auto tuner allows you to custom tune your bike in every gear and throttle position. you will have to have patience to fine tune the air/fuel ratios. This will take hundreds of miles before you dial it in. No need to dyno your bike. I am totally happy with the results on my 2013 triumph Bonneville. FYI: like with any other performance mod, you are not going to get great fuel economy.

Horrible product, horrible customer service at dynojet. Get a different fuel managament system*

This is the worst purchase we have made. Spend your hard end cash elsewhere! We installed the 22-035 on a 2014 Yamaha bolt. The map that power commander reccomended left the bike spitting and sputtering. Spent hours on the phone with power commander trying to diagnose, and trying to make the map changes they reccomended. Removed the power commander, no more sputter. The unit was sent to power commander to diagnose. (Told it was fine) Saved up some more cash, installed it again and had it dyno'd. Got it back from dyno "as good as it's gunna get" and the bike spit, sputtered wanted to die and backfire. Tried to make adjustments to map as per dyno jet guys, and the bike ran worse than our 93.Vulcan! The power, and fun was remove from riding. We finally said forget it, removed the power commander. We now have a $300 paperweight. Will never again buy from this manufacturer.

R1 2007 - Power commander V

To be honest I felt no differences with the new PC5. ( Power commander map downloaded from their website) My bike is equipped with: - full yoshimura exhaust system - K&N Air filter The full tune-up was done before the PC5 installation. Maybe this product needs to be tune by a professional.

WARNING READ BEFORE BUYING

WARNING do not buy the Power Commander 5 unless you buy the auto tune with it or pay $600 to have your bike dyno tuned and then maybe you might get 10 horse out of it but very unlikely you're better off putting the $1000 you're going to spend on the unit and having it tuned into engine components. The maps they have already made you can download from them are basically useless waste of money in my eyes. I'm taking mine out had it in for a week.

PC5 with AT a must have

The combo of these two items is the only way to go. My 2003 FLSTC didn't come with o2 but after adding the PC5 and AT with a D&D header it's a whole new ride. I'm impressed.

Great product- first one lasted about 8 years then crapped out. I just bought the pc5 and am very pleased. This is a must have if you have slip-ons. Tons of settings. Great product!

2012 Kawasaki Concours 14

Added a K&N air filter and Two Brothers slip on. Bought this to make sure everything runs right. Installation was easy. Just plug it in and attach the ground. Runs and sounds great. Uploading maps is a snap. I will probably be adding the auto-tune kit later.

PCV on a FZ8

2011 FZ8 with a Yoshimura slip on required a tune to help with flat spots and some hesitation on decel. Looked at several options and picked the dynojet. Downloaded map helped with acceleration and smoothness. Overall the bike performs and rides better. Curious why air filter mods are not figured into the stock maps. Motorcycle Superstore was easy to use, true to their word and showed up on time.

I installed this PCV on my 2010 Honda Stateline VT1300. I noticed an immediate gain in performance. I was never one for riding at ridiculously high speed but I can now run comfortably at 80 to 85 mph. Before the install, the bike was screaming for help. It was unstable at 70. It was a hard ride. Now it rides like a different bike. It's smoother, stronger and even sounds better. I am happy to know that I have power when I need it now. I am happy with the bike. The PCV is worth its price.

Good fit and finish. Made great improvement to low speed running very smooth, little more power and torque across full rpm range. Money well spent.
