Increasing Torque

I purchased a 45T and a 48T 520 steel rear sprocket for a CRF250L with a stock 40T rear sprocket. Longer chain was required, but I knew that before purchasing. Pricing was reasonable and shipment was fast.

It works good, love it

It's a sprocket, and it works well. Buy it, gives me piece of mind and installed with new chain.

42 Tooth Sprocket for KLR 650

I purchased this sprocket along with a 16 tooth front sprocket and a 520 x-ring chain. This combination works good for me because I commute to and from work. I find that I have lost some of the torque at take off but very nice top end with less vibration and higher speeds at less RPM. I had the 16 tooth with a 43 tooth before and will probably go back to it instead after wearing out this chain and sprocket combo I just purchased.

Sunstar 43T sprocket

Excellent product. Manufactured by the same company that provides the Kawasaki Versys OEM sprocket. Selected this steel sprocket because of its durability, and am very pleased. Changing from the stock 46T to 43T has made riding much less frenetic. RPM at 70 mph is now 5000 which seems much more comfortable. First gear is now much more useful as well. I can actually get through an intersection before having to shift!

Steel 47 tooth sprocket

I had an aluminum sunstar sprocket that was worn out. replaced it with a steel one with longevity in mind. the aluminum sprocket is considerably lighter, but I am not so concerned with weight. no problems with fit.

Got this sprocket for my 2009 Versys

First gear on a stock versys is pretty useless. You have to shift in to second at 10-12 MPH. It is a 15F/46R stock and I bought the sun sprocket 43 tooth and now it goes up to 25mph in first gear no shifting in the middle of intersections

Great item

It´s "better part" than original for Kawasaki Versys - because behavior of these motorcycle is much better, little faster - but thanks to this it´s with the lower torque and also little quite and lower fuel consumption. The real speed now matching with the reality (what is showing the speedmeter). The original rear sprocket on the Versys is also made by Sunstar, so - this part is not alternative, but it´s original too.
