    Perfect hot weather jacket

At 6'4", 210 pounds, the XL fits perfectly. I'm in the Tampa area and have found this to be a great hot weather jacket with good airflow, but yet has more structure than some other mesh jackets I have tried on. The zipper flap at top, and belt loop retainer snap at bottom are nice additions. The liner is cheap but I never use it anyhow.

    Good jacket, but one problem

This jacket works as advertised. It's comfortable over a good temperature range. The only problem I had was a small hole in one of the pockets where it had not been sewn properly. My wife was able to fix it for me.

    Awesome Jacket

Great jacket, it fits great and has an awesome look. It has an easy-to-remove liner that is color coded so you always put it back in correctly. Worth the price.

    Nice fit

I am 6'4" 190 pounds and was concerned about the length of an XL but am pleasantly surprised at how well it fits me. I have 35" arms and the sleeve length is more than adequate. The body is long enough - it falls below my waist. The extra length in the back is nice too. Overall, I would say that the jacket has a nice athletic fit. I have used it only once but I am confident that I made a good decision.

    Nice Jacket

I just received this jacket (04/02/11). It's my 5th jacket in my inventory :). I like its design and its functions. I ordered medium size (5'10" with 175 lbs) and it perfect fit. Jacket itself has lots of ventilation when liner removed. It is truly summer jacket, and it's not too heavy. I love ykk zipper, wrist and waist straps. It's quick for any adjustment. Jacket has perfect length on both sleeves and jacket itself, not too long or too short. The only downside is its soft guard. I wish it'd came with better shoulders and elbows protection. But that's minor compare to overall quality of the jacket.

    Love it.

Here's why I love it. The fit is spot on. I am a 150+lb guy, that is about 5'11'' and this jacket fits like a charm. I have a thin profile with longer arms, and a longer upper body length. I am very pleased with how this jacket fits. The features on this jacket are very nice. The removable liner is where it should be, and although it doesn't extend all the way to the bottom of the jacket, I like it like that. The inside pocket for a cell phone is very nice, and the material is good quality. Here's some comparison details. First I had purchased a FieldSheer Congo Air Mesh Jacket, and received it. I was extremely happy with the quality and materials it was made from. It felt very secure and safe. The padding and shoulder pads were excellent. The donwfall was the fit was not right for me. Too short on the waist area, and very bulky shoulders made me feel like I was playing football in a way. I also did not like the color scheme. The Shift Backdraft jacket on the other hand is more expensive and also has less of a quality "protective" feel to it. The padding on it are not as firm compared to the FieldSheer jacket I first had. Though this jacket fits phenomenally and if something like a short waisted jacket bothers you, then this Shift Backdraft jacket has the extra length your looking for. It doesn't feel as good in terms of tough outshell protection and padding compared to the FieldSheer but the fit is more of a concern, with at least a good amount of protection still. To recap FieldSheer-Tough mesh shell, high quality and tough padding. Sad fit, and bulky feel. Shift-Admirable mesh shell, good quality and slightly less firm padding. Great slim fit, extra length and comfortable feel. I purchased the black Shift jacket and am very well pleased. Although not as "safe" feeling as the FieldSheer jacket, I am overall happier and satisfied with this Shift racing jacket. Get yours!

    Great Jacket

This jacket is great. I took the liner out of mine because of the humidity in my area so it really held in the heat. With the liner out it really breathes well and it has some padding in the back, shoulders, and arms. Well worth the money.

    Great Jacket

This jacket fits great! I've worn it in the Texas heat without the liner and it kept me really cool. The vents are in the right locations. When it's cool out it keeps me warm, the looks I get when I'm wearing it says it all. The price is unbeatable. I've only owned it for a month and I've had no problems with any signs of rips or tears. Great jacket!

    Great Jacket

I'm 6'4", 160 lbs lean build and the Medium fits me perfectly, as suggested by another reviewer on this site or some other. Definitely buy a size smaller. The length on the arms is still long enough for me even as tall as I am, while still fitting great in the chest.

    First Jacket

This is my first motorcycle jacket so my opinion may be a bit lacking. The sleeves are too big for me. They're still a little long even when riding, but not uncomfortably so. I went with the medium because the small looked like a belly shirt on me. Air flows through this jacket amazingly well. At 40mph+, I'm just as cool with the jacket as I am without it. I got the black & white & I think it looks very good. Not too flashy & I'm not the coolest one on the street for having a white jacket (with 'blacked out' being so popular these days) but it reflects off car headlights very well at night & still looks good with my black & grey bike. I can't speak for durability as I've never crashed, but the mesh feels durable enough & the armor felt more durable than any other jacket I tried on for $150 & under. Doesn't have many features I wouldn't say. I consider the CE armor to be standard in a sport bike jacket, & other than that it just has two zip pockets. It also has a water/wind proof liner that I haven't tried out as it hasn't rained since I got the jacket, but that's pretty standard too. Cost benefit is exceptional. This was by far the best jacket for $150.

    Good Summer Jacket

Jacket looks really sharp and fits pretty well. I followed the sizing chart and got a medium (5'10”, 150 lbs), and the sleeves were way too long and the jacket bunched up a lot in the mid section when on the bike. Got a small, and the fit was right on. The jacket vents really well, so even on hot days it is really comfortable to wear. Also no problem with the armor shifting out of place. Overall, great jacket and not a bad price.

    Backdraft mesh jacket

Excellent!!! Love the jacket. Fits great. I'm 6' with long arms. Shift is the "only" jacket to date that Medium fits my arms. Would bye over & over again...
