    Glad I got it!

Was a little worried when reading some of the reviews but am very happy with the Tirade! I have a HD with a Thunderheader exhaust "One of the louder pipes out there" and don’t have to turn up the volume past 3/4 max even at 80mph plus with my android mp3 phone app (same with my Ipod Touch). The phone is subjective to signal on both ends when making a call. I turn the volume to the max in call and have to keep my speed to 60 or below to hear well. Seems to be louder talking to my Verizon friends vs AT&T. Those who give the sound on this thing a bad review must be expecting a home theater experience not a motorcycle system. It seems to run small in size, fits but could have been a little larger for comfort. I love the looks, it does not look or feel like a space man. I would buy it again for sure, maybe one size larger though.

    Element- Fastrack Bluetooth Solid Helmet

This helmet sucks... the ear piece is fallin apart... it puts pressure on ur ears and on a long drive it hurts... u can hardly hear anything on the hwy... then when ur trying to listen to music n u can't hear when u receive any calls... this thing really sucks... wasted my money on a expensive helmet that can't do its job... gets hot in it... no good ventilation...

Move along - don't waste your time

OK - first: props to Motorcycle Superstore for taking this back for a full refund...The helmet arrived with the volume knob missing and the battery enclosure missing. I ordered an XL - it hurt the sides of my face when I put it on. My girlfriend who wears an XS tried it on and she said it stuck her in the face as well. The speakers are mounted to the straps, so when you put it on, it pushes against your face. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! Pass on this and go with the O'Neal Tirade - it's the fixed version of this helmet - completely better construction. The speakers are mounted to the insides of the helmet, not the straps. They are plenty loud enough and the helmet also has a built in FM tuner. The volume knob is rubber, not plastic and is way more solid than the Element. It synced in no time with my iphone and within minutes, I was on the road listening to my music.

    Great helmet

I've had this helmet for about a year now I couldn't ask for a better one. The music sounds great and you can hear it clearly, and on the phone people half the time don't even realize I'm on the bike. My only complaint is the dark smoke visor is not nearly dark enough.

    Pffft

Works great when you're parked and walking around. The volume isn't the greatest and the speakers like to unplug while putting the helmet on. The ventilation sucks on it so plan on lifting the shield if you are going slow or stopped.

    Owned for about 1 year

Coming from a Med Shoei RF1000, I thought a med would fit. Returned it for a small, fits great. Bought the helmet for the Bluetooth features. Bluetooth paired and worked with Blackberry 8310 and 8820, Google Nexus One no problems either pairing, or streaming directions or music at speeds 65-75 mph. Talking on phone? Keep it below 70 mph. Speakers could definitely be better located and quality. Ventilation is lacking. Need to keep the face shield open for airflow in the hotter weather. Looking at new Tirade to replace this helmet.

A few hiccups, but over a great buy

I have had the helmet for almost a month, but am still waiting to test the Bluetooth system. Both the charger and battery pack were missing in the shipment. The charger was immediately sent to me by Motorcycle Superstore, and the battery pack was sent directly by O'neal thanks to Richard in Motorcycle Superstore’s customer service. Unfortunately the battery pack was lost in the mail somehow, so I am still waiting for it this week. Aside from being able to use this secondary feature, I would still order through Motorcycle Superstore due to their excellent customer service. The helmet itself does fit snuggly, so I also would recommend ordering a size larger. As for comfort, the speakers do become a bit uncomfortable on your ear/jaw bone after about an hour or so of riding. Also, I'm still not used to the under chin flap (reduces wind noise for the speaker), but it looks like it may just be Velcro’d or glued in. Overall, a good value at $269!

    Worst Helmet Ever Had

People, save your time and money, don't buy this helmet. Zero ventilation = HOT, fogs badly, noisy, build quality is awful, pricey!!! Don't waste your money for this $250 piece of junk! The cables and glue inside is a disaster. Trust me, I own 1 and I'm throwing it away.

The helmet is great except the speakers are not that good. I prefer more bass in my music, therefore I made the return and purchased an Icon Rubatone helmet and use my Bose headphones.

    Great helmet for the money

I love the Bluetooth feature. It's hard to have a full conversation on the bike, but it allows you to get done what you need with the understanding that you're riding a motorcycle. The finish is clean and it fits fairly well.

    Element Fastrack Bluetooth Helmet

The helmet works well with my LG Voyager phone with A2DP. I can listen to stereo music at speeds of 70 to 80 mph and take an incoming call. The intercom worked well with my friend’s helmet and it was convenient on recent trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only negative thing is the air flow is not as good as the HJC helmet I was used to.

The Best Helmet I've Purchased thus Far

On my second helmet. Received a med for my B-day, but it was too big. Sent it back. Had a problem synching the helmet with my Blackberry. Changed phones and it still didn't work. Called O'Neal and they sent me a new brain. And the helmet worked perfect. Even with my bike being as loud as it is I can still have a conversation up to 80mph. I highly recommend, only bad thing is I have no excuse for not answering my phone when the Misses calls me. LOL :)

    Fastrack Helmet

The Fastrack helmet is awful. I went by the size chart and it said that the XL would fit but it didn’t. If you order one, order 1-2 sizes bigger. The Bluetooth wouldn't connect to my Blackberry bold or my sisters Blackberry Storm. So if you’re thinking about getting this helmet be ready to have some problems!

According to the chart XL should fit well, but feels like a true fit would be 3XL, which they do not have. Really want it but oh well!

Wish I could have used it.

I didnt get to use the helmet because either the bluetooth or battery didnt work. I called Element and they sent me another battery and bluetooth module and neither worked so i had to return it for a refund. But it looked good, and it fit well, just didnt get to use it as intended.
