So much better fit than the 2008

These boots do not have the bulky Velcro tabs that the 2008 and prior models had so the look is much cleaner. The heel cup is better designed so the boot feels like a comfortable running shoe. The CE approved certification is a real plus for me. As always Alpinestars gets it right!

alpinestars fit and price can't go wrong

The boot was true to size the fit was snug which is what i look for because after a while they will break in. putting the boot on is a snap with the velcro flaps they are very comfortable rode them in light rain not drop of water was felt. the boot has a very safe and well built feel to it.i felt this was a good purchase thanks.

First Boots

Great boots all around, very snug with my thick socks. I can walk for a few miles in these before they get irritating. Totally not for running though. Firm grip on the treads. Have used them for about 900 miles now.

Awesome boots!!!

These are my first ever boots bought online that fit me well. I never buy shoes online due to my very "unique" feet and I usually spend couple of hours in store when buying new shoes. I have wide feet and it took these boots just two days inside the house to be almost broken in. After riding an hour in city traffic there's not even a mark on a left boot from the gear switch. Alpinestars makes quality stuff and will buy these again.

Great boots

I ride a Nighthawk, so I don't want racing boots and I don't want cruiser boots - these are a perfect in-between. Walking isn't terrible, but I wouldn't want to spend a day in them. Waterproof but not too hot, cover the ankle and seem solid enough to provide protection in the event of a fall. Can't think of any way to improve them.

This was my first purchase of boots on line. I was very surprised on how well they fit. Very comfortable. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great Boots

I like everything about them. They are sturdy yet very comfortable. Have not ridden in the rain yet but I have no doubt they are waterproof. Very good looking boots. Wore them for about 8 hours one day and had no problems whatsoever. Very good price and they arrived on time and in great shape. I ordered my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

very comfortable boot

I purchased a size larger than I normally wear as riding boots are normally tight. Wore these boots for two weeks on a trip from Indiana all around Colorado and back. Heat, high altitude cold and rain did not faze these boots. Very comfortable to walk in. You really can wear these boots all day, even on short hikes to see the sights. Have broken in now. Easy on and off. Best I’ve had to date. Highly recommend.

Alpinestars Ridge Boots

I'm very impressed with the comfort and quality of these boots, and at a very reasonable price at the same time. You can spend quite a bit more on boots especially on race applications, but for sport touring, these babies fit the bill.

Comfortable like tennis shoes

Only negative for me--these are the hottest boots I've worn above 75 degrees. At 80 they'll soak my socks wet in 20-25 minutes. Read NO airflow. Below, they are wonderful. Above, I'm grabbing my Honda leather boots, and my feet are saying, "Ahhhhh!!! :))"

awesome boots

I bought these boots used, and just sold mine off to someone else. Something I kind of regret now. I wore these boots through 5 hours of pouring rain and cold from DC to NC, and my feet stayed bone dry and warm! My wide feet usually have a hard time finding shoes, but these actually fit pretty wide so they are comfy, like a wide pair of basketball shoes. I went down wearing them at a low speed and I came out unscathed, but the boot was a little scuffed on the leather. I'm not sure how waterproof they are after that. I will be getting another pair of these boots. Excellent for street riding.

Great boots at a great price!

These boots are very comfortable to ride in and although I haven't ridden in the rain I did walk around in some puddles and they kept my feet dry. They are very warm and I think I will have to get a different pair for hot weather. They are ok for walking around in but need a different insole as they start to feel hard when standing for long. Broke in immediately. Easy shifting on an FZ6. I would definitely buy another pair!!

alpine stars - ridge waterproof boot

This boot is so comfortable I can wear it all day riding with good shifter feel and they are watertight. It flexes so good you have to look to see if its really on your foot!! Plus I stood around for hours at a motorcycle swap meet and they are more easy on the feet than most sneakers or moccasins. They are easy in and out and offer a great fit. You get what you ask for the first time you order, I would pay 3x as much for this kind of quality as you will never find boots like this anywhere. If you want good Italian leather and the comfort of a hand made boot, you need these boots. I rate these boots a 10++.
