    Product Information

    Icon Squad II Backpack

The Squad II backpack features unique reflective upper arm straps for increased visibility. Its unique comfort-fit chest closure system allows for a greater coverage area of reflective material while also securing the backpack in a way that is far superior to standard shoulder straps when riding. But wait, there's more! The Squad II has more stuff able pockets than Winona Rider in a jewelry store. Specifically a secure 15" laptop carry compartment and a mp3 player/cell phone compartment with ear bud cord management system. In addition, port and starboard wing compartments are designed for tool and first aid storage. When off the bike, the Squad II is configured to deploy a helmet storage compartment and has several tie-down straps allowing riding jackets and gloves to be secured. All of this results in a highly-specialized riding specific pack system with the appearance of a high-altitude jump rig.

    Features:
    • Orange and Yellow color ways meet U.S. military PPE hi-viz specifications
    • Heavy duty nylon rip stop chassis
    • Unique comfort fit chest closure system
    • 18 liter main storage compartment
    • Helmet storage compartment
    • Laptop compartment holds up to 15 inch laptop
    • Jacket carrying system
    • Item # 16955

    Bright & useful

Pack holds some heavy weight. Carried probably 30 pounds several times with zero issues. In heavy rain I noticed some wetness near zippers, but not soaked. Fit can be a bit cumbersome if wearing a bulky jacket. ID card holder needs a little bit of baby powder to prevent card from sticking inside. Very easy to lose things with all the pockets. Helmet compartment is not fun walking around with if there's a helmet inside. Don't bother with the shoulder reflective things. But all-in-all, if I have to carry anything more than an iPad, I use this bag.

Great for the first couple weeks...

So this backpack is awesome with all the space and storage, however it quickly started falling apart. The straps around the chest started peeling the reflective metallic plastic. Then the actual cloth material started peeling too. Eventually it peeled to a point where the foam started popping out. Had to take the foam out to prevent it from flapping everywhere. On the other side of the backpack the stitching to the buckle started coming out too. I can't put anything in the top pocket in fear of something falling out. I dont know , for $150 I would imagine a backpack would last longer than 3 months. If youre military and trying to buy this to drive on base, I suggest getting a nicer backpack and doing the stupid vest around it method.

    Icon Squad II Backpack

This is the best backpack I have ever purchased. It stays secure to my body while riding my scooter. It doesn't flop around. I love that it can be seen in the dark. It holds a ton of stuff. I recommend this to everyone.

    Military Approved

Military folks are required to put on reflective vests when riding on base (Off base as well for Japan) and is also required to have the vest over back packs carried which is totally restricting. Having this back pack eliminates the vest since it IS MILSPEC and approved on base. With all the room, features and comfortability. $145 was well worth it.

    Great Choice

This backpack is a great choice to ride in the night. In Costa Rica if want to ride a motorcycle, you need to use reflective gear or a reflective vest. So this back pack is a great choice!!!! The only thing I would change is how it fits me. And the overall look of the backpack.

    Icon Squad II Backpack

Was very happy with the looks/compartments/overall size. It just didn't hold up past 2 months. I'm a regular commuter, about 5 hours per week. I mainly use it for my bike cover and misc. small items. After a month, the stitches on the shoulder straps started to fall off then the inside stitching between the main and secondary section went. For the price, I expected this to last at least 6 months.

    Hi-Viz backpack good for on-base

For visibility and motorcycle-specific features I am impressed. However the lower helmet pouch seems sadly hanging unsupported which means that the spare helmet will be banging around the tail or beating my butt when off the bike. Otherwise the retro-reflective armbands and the load distribution to the chest and back instead of cutting blood flow around the shoulders are brilliant features.

    Icon- Squad II Backpack

Awesome looking and finish. Military Hi Viz Feature is very cool. I got color black and it looks great with my 1200 GS ADV BMW. Lots of compartments with ample Space For a quick comute to work or just having extra luggage space For a Long trip. Have not really yet used The arm bands and I don’t think they Will be very useful so I will probably eliminate them.

    Good multi tool

It holds all my stuff and doubles as a reflective vest. It’s a little long for my back, could ride a little higher.

    Great backpack

Good backpack. Helmet fits, but takes some work to get it all together. Shoulder reflectors are odd. Other than that, pack is great.
