Good Product

Replaced an identical frame slider that did it's job on the starboard side when I had a get off. The money it cost saved $1000. So, you decide. Easy to install if you get the model right.

Not bad

Pretty easy install, they seem to stick out more than others. Not sure if its "normal" or not. Either way they should do their job.

Frame Protectors

Left side was a great fit, but the right side seems a little loose. May just be the bolt that came with the products needs changed.

Slightly longer than stock

Bought these sliders because my stock ones were way too short. These fit alright but won’t tighten all the way for some reason. Still turning when I move them around. I have a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR-600. Look pretty sturdy but not planning on testing that part of them.

Easy to install

Pro-Tek sliders bolted right on to my CBR600 F2. Not being no-cut style, I did, have to hole saw my bodywork, but with a little patience and care the install looks real nice.

A slightly short bolt, but nice otherwise

I bought some Pro-Tek no-cut frame sliders for a 2007 Ninja 650R and am satisfied for the price. Although their instructions were a bit vague and I ran into an issue with a bolt that was too short, the install went smoothly enough. Once on, they seem secure enough to endure a minor street crash and that's all I could ask for.

Slider

03 YZF600R - Everything was perfect minus one major detail. The left hand frame slider did not have the correct alum bracket, making the actual frame slider sliding around on the bracket. To fix it I bought $3 worth of washers and ground them to the right size to fit around the alum bracket. This made the frame slider fit perfectly on the bike.

Easy to install no modifications!

I have a '08 GSX, and it was easy to install. The slider will be a very tight fit with a bit of pressure on the fairings without modifications, so if you do the forbidden of dropping your bike, it may crack the fairing on impact. A bit of trimming would give the slider a bit of clearance and will take the impact well.

Tight but good fit on GSX-R600K8

The protectors/sliders/guards installed on my GSX-R600 without any fairing modifications, but it is tight and does put a little bit of pressure on the edge of the fairings. If without a bit of trimming the edges where the fairings fit tightly, fairings may crack if you drop the bike but it will protect your bike well otherwise. If you put in a little bit of work to trim the fairings clear, it will do better.

Slider color

The sliders fit amazing and look great at a great price. But the color I chose "lime green" faded to white within a few days of being on the bike due to the sun because the bottom is still bright green. Going to try another set to see if the problem was just a defect in the coating.
