    10,000 mile update!

Okay, so after 30 months and 10k, here is what I have to say (male/6'1/180 Lbs, my shape errs on the side of upside-down-pear with lanky arms): Sleeves: yes, when I first ordered L did notice some tightness in arms, particularly from the bicep down to wrist. XL fits fine. Durability: the cuffs are beat to hell, don't stop water any more. A little dingy, and stitches are worn out, much of the high-abrasion areas on inside of arms are very worn and the threads are coming out.

    Great Value, Fit and Ventilation!

Beefy construction. Armor makes folding to fit in saddlebags hard. Velcro holds vents open in wind. Breathes well standing still, too. Perfect fit. Forearms tight, yes, but won't ride up in a slide. Great sleeve length leaves no gaps between cuffs and gloves. Comfortable in 95+ degree temps with lightweight wicking layer underneath. Can change airflow in jacket by changing posture. Should be very warm and comfortable well into Fall with insulated liner zipped in. Hi-viz yellow gets noticed!

    Awesome jacket

I bought the Hi-Viz yellow version of the Epic Jacket as I think being seen is of utmost importance. The fit of the jacket was great. The jacket has been comfortable in the cold with the liner in and also with temps in the 80s with the liner out and vents open. Great jacket!

    Love it

First off kudos once again to Motorcycle Superstore. All my experiences have been great with the item descriptions perfectly matching the items, super fast shipping and delivery and overall a great experience. This specific item is just what I was looking for. I sought out a Hi-Viz jacket that would also fit right and have versatility. I went out for a ride the other day and it was pretty darn cold out. I was nice and comfy with the liner in and found the fit great.

Too much snow up here to ride and try it out but it seems like a very good quality jacket at a fantastic awesome price.

    Good Jacket So Far

It's the middle of an icy winter, so the jacket hasn't seen many miles yet. The features are great. I like the rubberized edges on the collar and cuffs. Haven't tried the hood yet. The fit is tight in the forearms, as other reviewers mentioned. I had a Transition 2 before which lasted almost three years. I like the Epic a little better for the features, but the Transition fit my arms better. The high-vis green is bright. Overall, I'd buy it again.

    Aside from the other reviews...

I really like this jacket. That being said, another major flaw is that if you have the outer front pockets open with the hook-side velcro exposed and your arms rub against it the fabric material of the arms will begin to scuff and I have had to "shave it off" a few times to get rid of the "hairiness".

    Pretty good jacket

I commute year round I have had jacket for 1 year, 5 stars for keeping dry. Daily use is hard on motorcycle gear. Main zipper pull broke, very annoying, Velcro wristbands delaminated fixed with gorilla glue. I am skinny and cannot close neck! But keeps you warm and dry.

    Very Happy...

As the other reviews highlighted the fit in the forearms are tight. In my case once I adjusted the zipper and Velcro around the wrist it was perfect for me. In the cold months the snug fit keeps the air out. The fit and finish of this jack is top quality. Also, I love the built in rain "hoodie". It keeps the rain from going down your neck. The options and versatility of this jacket are too many too list but for me it translates into a jacket that can adapt to any riding situation.

    Good cold weather jacket

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The jacket fits well and has plenty of adjustments and storage pockets. I've used it while riding in temperatures down in the 30's and it's kept me warm. I'm sure the high vis color makes me much more visible while riding on these gray wintry days too.

    Very Good Value

This jacket is very well built. The fit and function are great, very durable. The Hi-Vis color can be seen a mile away. The sleeves are tight, like they are supposed to be to keep the weather out. Very happy with this jacket.

    Versatile jacket

Have wore this jacket in weather up to 27C, and down to 4C, without the liner. Expect to be able to ride in even colder temperatures once I put in the liner. Has kept me dry during prolonged rain rides. One suggestion for making a great product even better is to include some kind of storm flap to protect the neck. Despite this shortcoming, I'm very happy with the jacket. It is extremely versatile and a great value or the money.

    Great value and fit!!!

This is supposedly Tourmaster's top of the line jacket, and does NOT disappoint. It could not fit better if it were custom made. I guess I have small arms (or?) The sleeves fit great. I am 6, 0" and about 235. 2XL is great even with my long arms. It fits well, but is a bit heavy. Much better value and feature laden than the First Gear top of the line.
