I ordered a new bulb for my 2007 BMW K1200LT from Motorcycle Superstore by putting the year, make, and model in the required spaces. The first bulb I received was an the wrong bulb. (I should note that before completing the order I spoke to one of their representatives on the phone and explained that I had ordered the exact same bulb from another local supplier and received the wrong bulb). The rep assured me that this was the right bulb. Of course when I received the bulb it was the exact same bulb I received from the other supplier. I called M/S back and told them the problem. I spoke to another rep. She apologized and while I was at the computer she gave me the "correct" part number. I ran the number and it brought me to a page with a bulb. I told her that the photo was not my bulb. She said that the photo was just a representative of the bulb but that the part number was for the bulb I needed. It arrived a week later and turned out to, once again, be the wrong bulb.
I'm not sure what is going on but this should not be this difficult a thing to buy.
I purchased these because the stock turn signals interfered with installation of saddlebags on my '03 Spirit 750. Installation was easy, using crimp splices, and the appearance and brilliance of the signals is outstanding! Stunning intensity, despite using easily changed (when necessary) filament bulbs. These are a nice product at a reasonable -- very reasonable -- price.
Housings appear to be built ok, perfect size to replace the clunky stockers on my FZ6, but the bulbs are not replaceable, and if they are, I have no idea how to get them out. Order some extras...because one arrived to me burnt out already. Also, these are only single filament bulbs, so you will not have running lights on the front if your bike has that feature.
