I changed out an old set of LED signals with these because the old ones weren't bright enough, but man do these ever do the job! I'm not sure yet on the overall quality because with LED lighting they either work for a long time or die pretty quickly. I'm not sure what other reviews were talking about with parts coming off of them during instillation, only thing I can think of is maybe they are torquing them down way too much. Mine went on just fine, very secure and I've had my bike up to 135 mph with these signals and they are just as snug as the day I installed them. They are plastic parts so don't torque them down like they are made of steel.
I wanted to trim the look of my KLR650 Fairing. I installed these and was happy with them for about 2 weeks. Then the left signal broke right around the screw hole. It is not designed to take the abuse of a 650 single cylinder engine!!!
I purchased these turn signals to replace the OEM ugglies on my Buell Blast about a year ago now. They worked great but just be aware that when the bulb goes out, your temperament also goes out with it. They look very slick and close to the bike but just take this from my experience...two bulbs went out and I have been trying to fix this issue for about a month trying to find the right bulb because it is so hard to get the bulbs out with out breaking the casing.
