FS-15 Carbon Helmet from HJC

Carbon fiber materials are known for their strength, durability and light weight; that is why HJC has chosen the most technologically advanced “next generation” Carbon Fiber weave and resins for the new FS-15 Carbon full-face motorcycle helmet. The FS-15 does not simply apply carbon fiber portions to the shell: the FS-15 features a true full shell application carbon fiber, offering the maximum benefits of this technology.

  • Carbon Fiber Composite Weave Shell: Lightweight carbon fiber shell construction with superior fit and comfort by using advanced CAD technology; wind tunnel tested aerodynamic shell shape with an extra large eye port for greater visibility
  • Third Generation “ACS” Advanced Channeling Ventilation System: Full front to back airflow flushes heat and humidity out of the rear of the helmet
  • Anti-Fog System: Adjustable side chin bar mounted vortex vents create a low-pressure vacuum effect, drawing heat and moisture out of the face shield area, adjustable chin vent redirects air upward and across shield interior
  • Removable / Washable SilverCool™ Interior
  • Nylon Strap-Retention Band
  • HJ-09 Two-Stage Shield Closure Mechanism: Two-stage pivot mechanism compresses the shield into the eye port gasket, providing an extremely secure seal; Includes built-in pins for Pinlock® antifog lenses; Improved, no guess work, tool-less shield removal and installation
  • Deluxe helmet bag included
  • Meets or exceeds SNELL & DOT standards

High Quality Helmet

Perfect balance of Price versus Performance. Moderately priced top of the line materials. The quick release is very nice if you want to change shields. Stay away from the overpriced European models...This Korean HJC is exceptional!

FS-15 Carbon

Lightweight, well ventilated, comfortable, and stylish. If you're going to wear a full-faced helmet in TX in the summer, this is the one to wear. Great ventilation. Comfortable fit, though seems to run a little small. And the carbon fiber shell just looks cool.

Quality and Performance

I bought this helmet to replace a cheaper HJC I had last year (the CL-15). It is lighter, more balanced, nicer looking, and has nicer featured vents and airflow. The liner is quite soft and the fit is good. It fits like other HJCs. I matched it with a dark anti fog visor and have been quite happy so far. No long trip yet, but as it has handled nice in wind gusts so far. Air flow, maybe because of the shape of my head (more long oval than round) but I feel the wind move past my ears a bit, adding to the noise level with or without ear plugs, but there is room there because of my head shape so it's bound to happen. Overall I am quite satisfied with the helmet so far. Delivery was a week quicker than I expected, took about 6 days for the helmet to come up here, no border delays which was great. Motorcycle Superstore is always on top.

Y pay more

I have been wanting a carbon helmet for a while and finally went for the FS-15. It's very comfortable. I love the sculpted shape and the copper color is stunning in the sunlight. Changing the visor is super easy. Really happy with the purchase and don'think that I will go back to the other brands, would be a total waste of $.

Best Helmet Available

I've been through many helmets over the years from Arai's to Shoei RF1000's and as of late an X11. The HJC carbon is overall the best of the lot. The main advantages are weight, feels really light on the head, and finish which is absolutely perfect over the carbon base (I bought the blue which in sunlight is stunning). The liner is softer and fit is better than previous helmets with no irritant spots but this is entirely subjective since everyone's head is different but for the average person it should be fine. The visor's clarity and field of vision is excellent as is the shield removal system which is about as simple as it gets. Noise levels are equal to or slightly better than the X11. Ventilation is good but the X11's system is better by virtue of more inlets. Overall a great helmet and highly recommended.

More fiber in my diet

This is one of the best deals going on a helmet! Normally I'm an Arai Corsair kind of guy but thought I would try HJC's carbon fiber at a bargain price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Great helmet, not quite as lush on the inside as my Arai helmets but still very comfortable. If you have any interest in owning a carbon fiber lid, you should try the HJC. And it is always a pleasure dealing with the great folks at Motorcycle Superstore.

Nice Helmet

Haven't had a full face helmet in years. The last one I had was a Bell. Purchased this helmet at a GREAT price due to reviews from this site and professional reviews of the helmet. Fits to size, good mechanics, fogs up on me a bit, don't really feel much air flow so I have to pop the visor a bit at times. Very light weight, very well made and beautiful helmet.

This is one great lid

This is a great lid, probably the best I've ever owned. The fit is great, I'm a 7 1/8 hat and the medium was perfect. My main concern was noise, and this is a relatively quiet helmet, and also very light in weight.

Just say "yes" to carbon fiber

HJC's carbon fiber helmet based on the FS-15 series is actually a bargain compared to several other helmet manufacturers latest offerings. It's about half the price and its the lightest helmet that I've owned. This helmet must be seen in person to appreciate the stunning uniqueness that carbon fiber brings to the game. As an unexpected bonus it comes with about the nicest carrying case I think I've seen. I also purchased a dark smoke shield for the helmet and making shield swaps could not have been easier.

HJC - FS-15 Carbon Helmet

Great helmet. Very light. Less than average wind noise. I like that the padding is not pressing real hard on my cheeks. The ventilation seems good, but it does not get very hot in Germany so I cannot say what it is like in the heat. One small complaint; the visor locks, but even not locked it takes a good push to get it open. I guess this is good so that the wind does not open the visor. Expensive, but worth it.
