    Shoei Multi Tec Helmet

Bought the Helmet 2 years ago and I am still wearing it. It has been through wet , warm, hot weather and hail. No water got into the helmet and with vents open on a hot day it keeps your head cool. It is a quality built helmet that you are not only comfortable with it on but actually feel safer as well. Everything works as designed and I cannot think of any negative commnets on the helmet. Would buy again if I needed another helmet.

    Fantastic

This is the most comfortable helmet I have owned. The flip up front is a little on the geeky side but great in warmer weather or when you just want to perform tasks on the go such as conversing or grabbing money from the ATM. Wind noise is a touch annoying but I use earplugs anyway. Brilliant helmet.

    Great Lid!

Replacing another modular helmet that I wore 6 years, even though it never fit quite right. I am delighted with the fit and the ease of use. Needs exit vents and smaller cheek pads to be perfect. Would I recommend this - You Bet, and I'd buy again if this model was still available.

    Read reviews for months

I read tons of reviews on multiple helmets. I am glad I settled for this one. The price was great since their is a new model out and this is the old one. I really like the ability to flip the chin piece up even if it's just putting the helmet on and off. I would recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a modular.

    Shoei Multitech

After using numerous brands and models of modular helmets I find the Multitech to be built to a very high standard. The fit is slightly on the round side and seems to run a little big as well. The only issue it has is the wind noise at speed is a high pitch whistle. Also the lack of modern features like a flip up sun shade and locking chinstrap reduce its luster.

    Shoei lids rule

I've been a Shoei guy for two dozen years. Never liked that the helmets were a bit pricey, but it seems you get what you pay for. The Multitec is my first modular helmet though, and I love being able to flip open the face stopped in traffic when it's warm. Little nerdy looking but what the hell. Fit and finish are what you'd expect. The helmet is reasonably light for its size, with easily replaceable bits. Downside to the helmet is that it's not as quiet as a one-piece full-face helmet.

    Fantastic Helmet

I bought this helmet from Motorcycle Superstore a few weeks ago in preparation for Bike Week in Daytona. I wanted a modular helmet, and this one was being sold at a closeout price since it is being replaced by the Neotec. The fit is perfect for my "coconut" shaped skull in size XL, and the mechanism for the chin bar to raise feels smooth and solid. I gave it a 4 for features only because the Neotec has a tinted built-in visor.

    worth it

I've had several helmets but this is the most expensive one ever. You get what you pay for. It's more comfortable, better built and doesn't fog as easily as the less expensive models.

    Helmet

Great helmet ,fits well beautiful in all ways. Wish it had a chin wind protecter as I have on another helmet. It's a nice feature. I love doing business with SW. Great company.

    6 months in...

I waited to review this since it is the first full face helmet I've owned. A bit spendy, but worth it if you're putting 10k miles or more on your bike a year. The air flow in the helmet is only restricted by my hair length. When it is longer it blocks them.

    Love this helmet!

The sizing chart is right on! I bought it in Chrystal White and get lots of compliments on it. The color is great when the weather gets hot here (up to 100 degrees) and my head never feels hot. Also plenty toasty when it cools down to 45-50. The removable wind screen at the chin is helpful at highway speeds (don't have a fairing).

    Multitec Modular Helemet

I gave this helmet a 3 for fit because the helmet portion fit excellent like other Shoei helmets I have had in the past. When I lowered the chin bar though it actually hit my chin, no room at all I think Shoei needs to take another look at this. Unfortunately I had to return it wich was a very easy process.

    Great price!

I bought this helmet on a suggestion from a friend that had one. I tried hers on for the fit and it runs true to size. I love this helmet! I would suggest this to anyone that wants a great fitting and great looking helmet.
