My wife and I bought 2 of these helmets 5 years ago complete with the blue tooth units. We loved them. Now we had to replace them and found them for half of what we paid 5 years ago, So we bought 2 more and transferred the speaker and blue tooth units over to them. Great deal!

Good value. My 2nd nolan. Have several other brands this is the most comfortable. The only complaint is the visor does not stay well in detent position.

    N-102

N-102 is a heavy, heavy, heavy helmet. It is not balanced due to the heavy modular component and locking mechanism. The chin strap is also very uncomfortable because of the ratchet sits by the bend on your neck. My modular unlocking system failed to unlock many times. Its not worth the money or comfort. I thought the N103 was a little better, but still heavy. I also decided to try the cheap HJC modular helmet, the CL-MAX and it was a very good helmet for the price.

    All around sound

Within a week after purchase of the Noland Modular helmet my wife and I took a 1500 hundred mile trip. The temps ranged from 45 degrees to 81 and from cloudy, sunny to some rain. The helmets fit was excellent, noise was at a min. and visibility was for the most part excellent. Only slight problem was venting and again when it got hot a simple click of visor it cooled. I loved it and it is probably the best all-around helmet I have owned.

Wonderful helmet! Easy on/off. Fit is very natural and secure. I'd like a bit more generous airflow.

    Nolan N102 Ncom helmet

I have two N102 N COM helmets. It's a good helmet for the cost. I'm just disappointed that Nolan no longer makes it. The N103 that replaced it is too expensive. I don't want or need the N COM feature. Talking on Bluetooth is for SUV drivers not motorcyclists. I would like a less costly version.

    Good helmet

I like the helmet and now just need to order the tinted pull down visor. The strap locking device is much improved over the standard D rings most helmets have, and is my favorite part.

    NOLAN MODULAR HELMUT

Helmet is great! Customer service was fantastic, had a problem with helmet, customer service emailed return label, and shipped replacement helmet in less than 24 hours. Great, I am going to recommend your store to all my peers and acquaintances.

    Great helmet

Love this helmet. Scores high on every mark: fit, comfort, functionality, price, latch mechanism, flip face, mask, etc. Fogs mildly when completely closed. Only real downside is that it's mammoth on the noggin. Form follows function, though. I recommend this for mid-level price range, high-level delivery of features.

    Two Thumbs Down.

My biggest complaint with this helmet is the detents that are supposed to hold the visor open. They don't. They are so weak, I don't know what Nolan was thinking when they ok'ed this for production. You will not ride for very far on even the most wind protected bike with the visor up before it snaps shut. Un-acceptable. The helmet is heavy. Going from a Suomy or an Arai and you will notice very quickly. The release-buckle seemed like a nice item at first, but the rather heavy metal buckle sits in the middle of the strap, which is just above your adam's apple = very irritating. Seems secure thou and quick release is smooth. Fit of the shell is ok, but helmet has a lot of lateral flex. I would not want to go down hard in this lid. The modular opening latch is smooth and simple with gloves on. The wind noise in this is unbelievable. I mean it is loud! Forget using a Chatterbox or ear buds and music. Earplugs are a must. No, I will not or would not buy this helmet again. This was my first and last Nolan. Sticking with Arai or Shoei.

Very good fit, adequate ventilation, quality craftsmanship. The biggest gripe I have is wind noise, then price. I find the helmet actually accentuates wind and bike noise. The price is pretty steep, when compared to HJC or similar, which appear just as well made.
