Great style and super protection

The helmet not only offers the best protection for the money but also has great looks. For someone like me, that served 24 years in the military, the style reminds me of the days when I wore a different type of helmet for my country.

Not bad.

Overall, once the helmet is good and broken in, it's not bad. But at first it seems to run small. The helmet seemed to handle the rain well. And while I feel decent airflow I don't feel much on my face unless I open the shield. This helmet does seem quieter and lighter thnn my Gmax 54s. Overall, I like the helmet. It gets a lot of looks. And it does catch some air at speed. But if anything it seems to keep my head stable forward. Overall it's a good helmet.

It's nice, but...

This is a great looking helmet, but there was some kind of film on the inside of the visor (anti-fog?) that started to come off immediately. It was very hard to see through the area were the film had started to come off, and even harder to remove the rest of the film. The fit of the helmet is good, although I wouldn't want it any tighter in the cheek area. It also wants to pull your head back at highway speeds, if you are running without a windshield.

Awesome looking helmet

This helmet looks awesome! I got a medium size and it fits great, I was afraid it was going to be a bit tight, but it's good. It's tight in the ears, but once you start riding there is no movement and you forget all about it. You want this helmet a little tight because you do get some Wind drag. I highly recommend it to anyone.

so so helmet

I was a little disappointed in this helmet. I bought it for my son to wear but I have worn it on a couple of rides to test it. I use a Shoei DS Hornet. The yellow tinted shield looked awesome with the helmet but it was awful to use. I had to replace it with a clear one almost immediately. The helmets visor seems fragile as a piece broke off the rear part of the visor within a few days. It has great airflow and looks great. The peripheral vision is noticeably more restricted than my Shoei. It also seems to lift more at highway speeds. This is not a cheap helmet but it sorta feels cheap. I would recommend spending the little extra for a Shoei or Arai. I will not buy another Icon helmet.

Stunning looking helmet!

I was a little afraid to pull the trigger on this because of what people have said about wind lift at high rates of speed. There is a slight pull over 80 and with fast head-checks, but wonderful overall! The helmet looks awesome (especially with a silver shield) and is my overall favorite to date. Definitely a conversation starter at the pump. The fit is right on. The visor shield is a pain to change, but I don't do that often anyway. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger now!
