EVS SX 02 KNEE BRACE

I actually bought mine to help with a knee injury so I could stabilize my knee at work. These braces are also sold on medical supply sites as well, but for 2-3 times the price. It worked OK for me, but I also had problems with the stitching tearing out on the metal brace pockets. I sewed them up with Spiderwire fishing line (kevlar braid) and worked great for what I needed it for. For me the fit was OK, if a little snug, and , yes, the top strap is pretty unforgiving. Was going to swap the strap out for a H-D elastic/velcro set up but had surgery so now I don't need it anymore. Worht the money? Yeah, for me anyway...

Poor Construction

I really liked the braces for the first 5 rides or so then the stiching on one just started to fall apart.

EVS SX 02 Knee Brace

Although the EVS Knee Brace is very comfortable and suitable, I would be much more satisfied if Motorcycle Superstore would place the info that the price stands for only one piece and not the pair as it would be expected. It's a great disappointment when you receive only one after having waited to use it in the weekend trail with your mates. Be aware of this detail.

Caused skin rash

I thought these braces would be an amazing fit when I first tried them on. I used them for supermoto practice and broke out with a rash on my legs where the elastic was touching my skin. I have no known allergies. Also, the upper thigh strap was extremely restrictive and I will not be fastening it in the future, as my legs are bruised from them, even though they were loosened. $200 wasted.

EVS-SX02 Review

Overall a good knee brace to provide compression which in turn provides stability in my knee. But don't expect the adjustable pivot stops to provide any real protection from unwanted extension and flexion since the mechanical parts are attached to your leg with elastic material.
