If you ride in hot and humid weather, you need a mesh jacket! After a month of regular use I can tell you that the Rev'it Airwave 2 is great. It's comfortable, fits well and breaths well. The pockets (inside and out) are well sized and easy to use. One little complaint is that the zippered pockets don't include pulls - so they are difficult to operate with gloves. So, I made two pulls for the zippers, and....voila! I'm 5'7", 40" chest and about 160lbs and went with the size large based on many reviews which said this one runs small. It's got a little extra room, but fits well enough that I think the medium would definitely have been too small for me.
Great looking and fitment is spot on. Super value and versatile for on and off the bike wear, meaning it doesn't look like a motorcycle jacket. It's lightweight enough for summer, fall, and early Norcal winters.
Stitching puckered at cuffs
New style YKK zippers would not stay locked. Instead of a slotted hole on the pull tab they are on loops and any lateral movement allows the zipper to unlock and work its way down.
I had HIGH expectations for this REV'IT Jacket as it is one of the more expensive jackets.
I was surprised that the jacket EXCEEDED my expectations!
The fit was a little snug, but that is just the way I prefer it.
Good quality warm liner.
Excellent quality and looks better than the pictures.
My opinion is, this jacket is a great value and looks more expensive than
Good service from Motorcycle Superstore!
I was looking for a more up to date version of the Belstaff Trialmaster jacket with armor, and liked the comfort and feel of waxed cotton. Unfortunately the Melville fabric felt like plastic, but worse yet the sleeve length was ridiculously short for the medium sized jacket. I returned the jacket and received a prompt refund.
