Great DP Tire

Just installed and scuffed up these on a KLR. Price added to performance equals a great DP tire. Can lean to 55-60 degrees on asphalt and being S rated, no issues with top speed of the bike. Asphalt-5 stars, Asphalt+rain 3+ stars as they are a little slick, fire roads-5 stars, mud-3+, a little squirrely in the deeper muck, and sand-buy another tire. Overall a great tire(4 stars)for a DP and for safety, replace F/R for a better ride. IRC is OEM for many Asian bikes.

Just got it

I've got less than 200 miles on these, most all County 2 lane. Got them pretty quick and put them on at a friends. So far I've only been able to do the county back roads. Cornering is a lot of fun again. The Trailwings that came on the DRZ400 were squared off. I've hit 70mph on a few stretches, very smooth. Looking to get up the Forest Service roads pretty soon and see how they do in gravel.

Great Tire

Bought in July 2008, I am now replacing it after 6000 miles 5 years later. There is still plenty tread left on it. I drive to work and back, this tire is stable at 70mph on my little KLR 250. No complaints; good tire that corners well.

Mixed riding

Found this tire to be quieter than the stock KLR 650 tire, rides smooth and corners well. Did a day in sandy off-road trails and found it quite reasonable, with 20lb. air and lots of riding standing up. The KLR isn't a barn-burner in the woods anyway. Full knobbies would certainly perform the best but this is a good compromise if you need a tire for the street as well.
