Poor tread life

I would agree with most reviews about the Bridgestone being a good tire with exception of tread life on rear. I changed my rear tire at 8000k and it was worn out. I did mostly solo riding with no high speed asphalt running in hot temps. The front was replaced at 21000k and just a minor bit of cupping. I was planning on doing a 10,000k trip from Ontario to New Mexico so needed a tire that would last, so I bought the Michelin City Grip rear. I just replaced it with 21,000k. Summary Bridgestone rear: fantastic tire except for wear. Bridgestone front: excellent tire all round. Will keep using this tire. Michelin City Grip rear: 1. Superior wear 2. Better ride 3. Softer sidewall means softer ride but a bit squirmy under hard cornering. Michelle City Grip front: 1. Softer ride. 2. Excellent straight line stability but very heavy steering when cornering at both slow/fast speeds. I found steering so heavy I went back to Bridgestone after 2000k. I have since put on 15,000k using OEM front tire with Michelin City Grip rear and love the overall performance of my Burgman. Excellent cornering with much longer rear tire life. I do about 30,000k a year so tire choice is important.

My favorite Burgman tire

Bridgestone's OEM - on this ride - is smooth, safe and smart. Contrary to popular opinion, I've found Pirelli's "Diablo" to be aptly named.

VERY HAPPY WITH TIRE AND SERVICE

Been riding a burgman 650 4 years and use bridgestone on front and back. First thing is tire 160/60/14 gives me 10+ k in a 8.5 month ride. Second Motorcyclesuper store shipped the tire out and I receive it in 1.5 days. Great job. I highly recommend tire and store!

BRIDGESTONE TH01 OEM REPLACEMENT TIREs

Too expensive for the amount of wear it gives. Bridgestone should be ashamed of themselves for not designing a better tire. Suzuki should be ashamed of themselves for designing the Burgman 650 with this tire.

Tire ride on Burgman 650

I bought these tires about a month ago because I was getting ready for a 1000 mile trip. They were great riding on interstate highways at high speeds. My ride was smooth and handling was great. I would recommend these for anyone who has a Burgman 650.

Mileage

I've used these tires since the bike was new. I consistently get 10,000 miles on the front and 5,000 on the back before changing. I currently have 30,000 miles on the bike. It's a good tire at a good price and fast free shipping.

Great tires-great price

These are the exact replacement tires for my Suzuki Burgman 650. Great tires and here they were half the price compared to all the other retailers.

Bridgestones the Best I've Tried

While I don't believe even slightly some of these claims of high mileage on these tires I do feel that the OEM's are the best tire choice for our scooter. It's ridiculous how fast they wear out but I do put on lots of two up miles with loaded Givi bags and I ride year round so I get about what I expect and better. My 07 has been serving me well so far and this summer we'll be breaking 50K miles with absolutely no problems. Preventive maintenance is the key as it is with any machine.

Best Tire

Way better than the Metzler I replaced the first one with. I think I will be sticking with these on By 650 Burgman.

Burgman 650 Rear at 45 PSI

STILL THE BEST OF THE BUNCH. THE 6 PLY TREAD AND 3 PLY SIDEWALL GIVE THE BIKE A ROCK SOLID FEEL IN FAST TURNS AND STABLE NO FLEX FEELING----MICHELIN WILL WEAR AS GOOD BUT THE TIRE SQUIRMS MORE THAN THE BRIDGESTONE BUT RIDES SOFTER.

Better side wall stiffness in the tight turns than the michelin. wear about the same.
