knobie love

I love this tire, the back only last me about 2500mi.but they stick! I like the knobie on the front and a annakee on the back of my 1200gs, the front feels much better on the street and the dirt and last longer I think? Gravel sand so what! Stick it in there she will hold...

good tire

Great tire. Seems to be wearing very slowly. Handles well on and off the road. Even past a couple of sport tour bikes on the way up to Sky Line Drive. I am running with the Dunlop - D606 on the rear.

Grabs nicely

Certainly much better grab than the stock Trailwing tire that came with my '11 DR650, tested offroad today and it bites everything but sand.

Its a keeper

This is my 2nd...got 6 or 7K outa the first one and could have done more but wanted some fresh rubber for the 1500 mile Tour de WY and a little bit of CO on my KLR - lots of dirt, gravel and mud. This tire is a good balance in everything...its like a KLR...not perfect for anything, but it will do it all just fine.

Great tire wherever I go

I put these on my Dakar 650 after slipping and sliding in mud on Tourances. I mostly do street, but wanted traction in mud and am very pleased. On the street I can ride it like a sportbike, and it holds great even when wet. I ran one for 9500 miles on the front,(and just installed another TKC80) but should have reversed it on the rim after 5k, as it started getting edgy on the leading edge. A bit pricey at 2x of a Metzler T63, but much quieter on the road with the big knob blocks.

Perfect 50/50 tire!

I exclusively use TCK80s on my KLR650. They are the best 50/50 tire with the least compromise.

Great Dual Sport Front tire

After a 900 mile little trip to the western part of Nebraska, this tire shows no wear. It felt just fine on the sandy/muddy two track roads as well as on pavement. I did notice it was hunting for a line now and then on pavement, usually when there were those little squiggly lines of tar patches. Would buy again though - nice 50/50 tire.

Ordered tires while on vacation, just what i needed for my dual sport bike. I put about 1500 miles on and off road and performed very good. Will probably buy another set when I need tires again.

Fantastic KLR650 upgrade

Awesome tires! 9k miles on the rear (front tire still going). They’re much smoother then the stock! The back tire fits with not much more than a quarter inch clearance on the KLR, but they fit. Great off road, sand, gravel, water crossings, and mud. Amazingly good on street. Primarily I commute, and they get it done with style. Rebalanced at 3 or 4k and they'll last a bit longer; I run 28 in the front 30-34 pressure in the back, about to mount new one this season.

TKC 80's

I run these tires on my BMW GS1200 Adventure, as well as my BMW X challenge. I love these tires. I am getting around 6 to 8000 miles on the rear and around 10000 miles on the front with the 1200. Slightly less on the 650 but I run the 650 much harder than the 1200. That's why I have the little bike! They are a little more expensive, but for a 60/40 mix tire, you can't go wrong. I have gone off-road with these tires in Moab and single track in Colorado. Never once have I had a problem. These are very good tires for whatever you want to do. Excellent for riding on the hwy to your favorite riding spot, then great for your off-roading as well. These tires do howl down the road but much quieter than the Pirelli MT21's! Have yet to have a flat or a failure and I have probably put around 50000 miles on TKC 80's on my bikes!

Front: Great 40/60 - 70/30 tire

Great 40/60 (dirt/road) all around tire for the big dual-sports. Have them on my 1200GS, on front of 650 Dakar, and just put them on my wife's 650GS. I will be ordering them again. The TKC80 front and rear combo works, but the front TKC80 works well with the Metzeler Sahara rear for more 70/30 riding. 5000 miles (3500 dirt miles) on rear with heavy loads. 9-10,000 miles on front. Will keep using these for the confidence in the front end, and alternate between Metzeler Sahara and TKC80 rear based on length and type of trip.

TKC 80 - Front Tire

Great tire so far. First set of knobbies on a KTM 990 Adventure. Works great on and off dirt! Not enough miles on the tire to be able to rate tire wear.

Great Adv. touring tire

I ride a BMW R100GSPD two up. This is the only front tire I will run. It's tubeless, it sticks like glue on pavement(wet or dry) and handles off roading as good as most knobs and better than any other Dualsport tire. The last one went 7,000mi. It was shot, but still handled a trip to Steens Mt with plenty of off road riding just before it was retired. It's not cheap. Service here has been very good.

What an Amazing Enduro/Dual sport tire!!

I have about 500 miles on my new set of Continentals and i am nothing but pleased. I knew i was getting a great product Cornering is crazy, peg dragging fun! Dry traction has not failed me yet, pegs down all the way Wet Traction has been good. Tread life I hear is mediocre Continental really nailed it with this one. I cannot wait to get this sucker off-road very soon. I expect good results. The tread pattern is big and chunky, so the mud should fling off well.
