Not great for enthusiast, but ok for normal riding

2,800 miles and the sides of the front are worn with little tread left! They move around too much on the road, I have little confidence in these tires with quick wear. I have a NEW exotic sport/touring bike with all the electronics, and mid weight. I won't be using Pirelli scorpions again . I will replace with another tire!

Great tires but after only 2415 M have too many cracks on the side walls !

This is my 1st set of PIRELLI SCORPION TRAIL DUAL SPORT tires on my Honda NX 650 and there are the best as far as handling. In the past I had Metzler T66, Avon Gripster and Dunlop D604. By far I prefer the handling of my bike with these Pirelli Scorpio, it feels super stable, these tires stick to the road and they are quiet. My only major gripe about these tires is that after only 2415 M both front and read tires show A LOT of cracks on the side walls , some are quite long and deep and now I don't feel safe riding on them ! I need to replace them for safety which is too bad as they still have plenty of threat life left. The front tire middle section has flattened some and I can feel it going over some irregularity on the road . I'm hesitant to buy these again due to their poor durability !

    1st set BMW F800gs

Great 90/10 tire. I am 180lbs and ride one up 95 % of the time. Outstanding traction wet or dry conditions, corners solid. I have 8700 miles on rear and it is just now starting to wear flat down the center,I can feel a slight tip or rollover when cornering. Front still has at least another 8 left in it. I ride as daily commute on straight hwy or back roads with lots of turns and up and down hills. I am only switching tires and brand to try something new.

    Very pleased with this tire

I've been very pleased with the Scorpions that came stock on my 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 Roadie. Super traction on dry and wet and extremely smooth. I never took them off road so I can't speak to that. Just ordered a new rear one to replace the original which now has 13,500 miles (safely) on it. Highly recommend.

    Feel great

The Pirellis feel great. I don't know how long they will last, but I'm not particularly worried about that.

    Great tire

Switched a while back and think I have found the perfect tire. Although its only a 90/10 I do a lot of off roading as well. I am very impressed so far and the tire wear seems fine as well. Highly recommended!

Second set of these tires, I hadn't any issues with the tires on my Honda NC 700 . The rear lasted 8500 miles with mixed riding but 4500 miles were on straight roads on I-40 west and I-10 east. Front is still going about 10000 miles. I wish they were a little more aggressive for dirt or gravel. They don't do too bad for a 95/5 or 90/10. I recommend them for commuting, riding the dragon or good service roads.

I put 8500 miles since August on these tires mostly on the road. From Tennessee to Canada. From Tennessee to Grand Canyon lots of fast road as well as secondary road, but sorry to say not too many dirt roads, less than 500 miles total off road. They have performed great in twistees, rain, and at 5% off road I guess they do ok but it is not an off road tire.

    First time on Pirelli tires

Gave a good review on the front tire which has proven good in cornering. Ride mostly in the hills and do the mini dragon on Hwy 49 as a commute. Usually wear out the sides way before the center tread, I only have 1k on this new set since I bought them two weeks ago, don't see much wear yet.

    Rear Tire incident

Rolling west on I40 through the California desert this noon at 70 mph when I had to shutdown the throttle and ease the bike over. Right side of rear tire had a full thickness tear, approximately 13", along the tread/side wall line. Otherwise good performance for 3400 miles.

    nice upgrade

I've owned two of these tires now on my '12 v-strom 1000. First one made about 6K on it before I found a nail. Very smooth and stable in the corners. Its been a dry summer so I cant comment on wet traction as of yet but everyone seems to speak highly of them. Tread wear seems good I would have gotten about 8K out of the rear tire had I not gotten a nail in it. Cornering and stability are on par with high end tires by other manufacturers.

OK tire on my klr 650. Real good on wet roads and dry. But did not last. Only 4,300 miles and not any better than stock. I ride every day, rain or shine, and I need a tire that's lasts longer.

    Good Tire for LIMITED Off-Road

I have these on my 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200, and they have done quite well, enough so that I ordered the next pair at 8300 miles. Dry pavement handling is extremely good, quite sticky! Stable tires front and rear. Some light off-road immediately revealed their limitations, particularly in soft or muddy conditions, essentially NO traction there! Keep it to 90/10 with no expectations of serious off-road work and I think you'll be nicely satisfied.

    Good 90 percent road tire

These came on my Guzzi Stelvio and I thought I would quickly part with them but I changed my mind. They are excellent road tires and provide good cornering and wet pavement traction. I got about 6000 miles on my rear. I'm thinking of installing a pair on my street-going H-D! Off-road, they do much better than I expected. They're not aggressive dirt tires but they hook up fairly well for an occasional foray into the outback. For most GS-type riders, they are very appropriate.

    Great 'All Roads' tire.

Spend most of my miles on 'Way Back' roads, been using these for years, avg 6-8K rear and 15K front. Not for heavy mud or deep sand, you can do it, but there are much better choices. Handles tight pavement and sweepers extremely well, wet or dry. Been able to keep up with much larger bikes and show my heels to a few poorly ridden crotch rockets.
