Bridgstone- TW! trail wing tires

Great tire! I placed two Trail Wing tires on my 2006 BMW 650gs Dakar and it rides great, handles great in the rain and on the dry pavement. The Motorcycle Superstore was great to work with when I ordered the wrong size.

Great tires

I have a TW21 on the front and a TW22 on the rear of my 650 KLR. These are dollar for dollar, pound for pound the best tires you can buy. They are a soft rubber tire but have amazing tread life. This means they corner very well on pavement. The TW series is a great off road tire as well. They say they are rated for 80% street and 20% dirt. I would say they are equally as efficient on either. I am very happy with the tire!!!

Trailwings

I'm using the trail wing tires on my 1989 Honda Transalp. I've only just put them on for our last rally in PA. We rode loose gravel, rocks, wet & dry pavement, through forest roads with huge puddles and pot-holed RR beds. So far they are able to do everything - but then again, they were designed for TA stock, so of course they can. The transalp is an extremely versatile bike, able to go just about anywhere.

I'm not a real aggressive rider but, this tire handles road speeds very well, cornering is excellent and the motorcycle superstore had a very competitive price on this tire.

Good tire

I've had this tire on about 400 miles so far and it's been good mountain roads, out in the desert, and good on pavement. The only condition I haven't liked it in is dust covered hard pack out in the desert - wants to dig in and skid a little in hard corners. Other than that it's been great - I'd buy another one.

I like this tire a lot. Well made and designed. Great hard surface traction. Will have to wait for our summer heat to really assess it worth in the intense pavement heat here in the desert. Great looking and well designed for an 80/20% tire. PERFECT and would tell others the very same thing. The Motorcycle Superstore was a pleasant find as well with decent pricing and excellent service. Would also recommend these folks for a shot at your needs they are really good at what they do.

We'll see...

I can't fairly rate wet traction because it rarely rains here is southern Arizona. My KLR650 cannot overpower these tires, they stick very well. However I haven't had the opportunity to give them a good workout in the desert and will reserve comment for later. So that said, I'm optimistic that these tires will be comparable to the Mefo Sport Explorers they replaced in both mileage and off-road (Desert) traction at a much cheaper price.

160 mile ride in the mountains

After riding my KLR in the Arkansas mountains this weekend, it was very cold, I found the front tire to be a little unstable during hard braking. It could be because the tire, a TW Bridgestone, did not come up to any temp even after a long and hard ride. It did hold good in the corners even at extreme lean angles.

Good KLR650 street tire

Have been running it about 300 miles now so I can't speak to tread life, and haven't ridden it much in the wet either, or in mud or dirt. Previous tire was the stock Dunlop. In comparison the Trail Wing is smoother, more stable, holds the road better in cornering.
