Its a Keeper!

We bought these NR Half Covers (Large, Yamaha Vstar/Roadstar) several years ago and they are still going strong for travel, keeps the dew/dust off the bikes and it’s a great determent when parked at hotel/camp site, too. We strap the carrying pouch to our T-Bags while on the road and we just don’t leave home without them! When on the road, we’ve had several inquiries about the Half Covers as where we ordered them from. ….here at MS!! Son admired the Half Cover and I ordered it for his Birthday….one Happy Camper! Great product and worth the money!

Awesome Bike cover

I bought the Nelson rigg Half cover for my GSX-R750 K4, to protect it from the sun rays while at work for 8-10 hours. It's a perfect fit. Very nice quality. Cover comes with a carrying pouch and can be attached to your waist while you ride. I never wear it, I just throw it my back pack. But it's so nice knowing the sun isn't fading my paint on my bike. I live in the desert, and before getting the cover, my bike would always be dusty at the end of the work day. The cover does a fantastic job of keeping the dust off of it too. I highly recommend this cover for any sportbike.

Size Large a bit small fpr Tiger

Fit and finish look fine and the large fits my CBR600 no problem. But for wider bars like the Tiger, I think I am going to need XL. Oh well, wait for this one to wear out. I expect it to last a year or two of part time outside.

Nelson/Rigg waterproof sportbike cover

The cover does just what it says it does! Well-stiched with NO loose threads, unlike my Covermax cover I used to own(that cover fell apart after only 18 months of use!). The order arrived quickly and even came with a neat carrying bag. The price was excellent as well. I am quite satisfied with my purchase!!

Fantastic Cover for Traveling

This cover is compact and lightweight, but just perfect for placing in the saddlebags for those times you need to cover the important parts of the bike from the sunshine or rain while on a trip. I would recommend it to everyone. Nelson-Rigg covers are high quality and seem to last forever. I have another full cover and a half cover that I have used for over 14 years and they are still going strong.

Decent cover that does what I wanted.

The medium fits my 2008 CBR1000RR well. Covers the top 2/3rds of my bike. Nicely keeps the pollen, dust and bird crap off my bike when I park it in the city. After using it for a few weeks I have no complaints. It is thin but that make it easy to pack in the included case or in my backpack. It is a bit of a stretch to get the straps around the footpegs that hold it in place. Will have to see how long they last.

So far so good

Cheap but appears durable so far (two weeks of daily use). Perhaps I'll get back to this review in a year and see how it faired (daily use in the Phoenix Arizona sun).

This is a cheap cover that is cheap. The silver lining on the inside of the cover comes off and leaves marks. Don't know yet if they'll come off. Save your money for something better.

Great So Far!

Have only had it for about a month, but very happy with the purchase. I got the XL for my 2008 Yamaha 1300 V-Star with saddle bags and the Memphis Shades batwing fairing with the 12" windshield. Fits pretty good, but could be a bit more snug. I use a carabiner mid-bike to attach two of the bungees over the seat which keeps the cover high & away from the hot engine and makes it a bit more snug. Bike sits in the Nevada sun all day but with this cover my seat is only luke warm instead of lava hot. Worth every penny, even if it only lasts for a year. Had a mild rain just once and not a drop went through. Overall, very happy.

works well for commuting

The cover fits well on my 300cc bike. I just keep it on during work. it is easy to slip on the bike and connect the elastic cords to the foot pegs. It comes with a bag that I can clip around my waist if I don't have enough space in my luggage.

Good Cover for BMW R1200GS - Medium Size

This cover is surprisingly good for the money. I bought the size Medium to cover my 2014 R1200GS when camping. It is a bit taut but overall works well. It's lightweight, packs up into a small bag and seems reasonably durable. Especially for the price, very happy with this cover.

Quality cover

I first bought the CoverMax, but it arrived with a dirty mark on it, had a place where the threads pulled out, and the strap on the stow bag came out with just a small tug. So I returned it for a Nelson-Rigg UV-2000, and what a difference! The Nelson-Rigg is a quality cover, which is evident as soon as you open the box. The XL fits my FJR 1300 just fine, although if you have a top box or a large bag on the rear seat, the panniers will not get covered. But that is what I expected, since this is a half cover. It packs down small, and is easy to put on for those times when you don't want passers-by messing with your stuff. I recommend it for when you are traveling.

Good Cover

Good half cover, waterproof and good fit. If it lasts 2 seasons I'll be happy. I ride 9 months out of the year to work and my bike sits in the sun with no shade for 9-10 hours a day and so far this cover has worked great.
