    Product Information

Bridgestone TW302 Trail Wing Dual Sport Rear Tire

Trail Wing TW302 is an on-off type tire with primal emphasis on on-road performance, making the tire ideal for the customers who ride off-road motorcycles mainly in metropolitan (city) area. Considerable attention has been paid to the balance of pattern, shape and compound to reduce differences in performance in wet conditions on ordinary roads, even on manholes covers and painted street surfaces.

    TW 302 rear tire

I had 1000 miles on the tire on a WR250R and then went 5,600 miles to Tampa and back to SLC, Ut and still have considerable tread left. It's good on dirt roads and a compromise in loose stuff and mud!

    Decent Tire

I really like these tires. They don't do well in mud and here in the PNW, that's pretty limiting. I may try something that works better for mud when these die. They came stock on my Yamaha XT250 and so far I have 1800 miles on them and they have plenty of tread left. I expect to get at least another 1000 miles out of them. Front much more than that.

    Can't wear em out!

Absolutely the best dual sport tire I've ever had. I have 5,400 miles on a 2011 XT250, and I know they will go another 2,000 miles! Maybe more. I'll be ordering a new pair of the same tires. I ride about 80% hwy-20% dirt.

    Very impressed so far.

So far I've put a little over 1200 miles on this tire, most of which has been pavement. Despite this the tire has a good amount of tread left and the knobs are just slightly rounding off. I took my DRZ on some trails in PA and they did great in the dirt and loose rock, sand didn't seem to be much of a problem either. Mud is VERY slippery with the 301/302 combo but I can't complain for the type of riding I do mostly.

    Good Dual Sport Tire

These came stock on my XT-250 and I got 3000 miles on them. I looked at different tires but came back to these. I had never had any problems and they ride nice with great traction both wet & dry. When I ride off road I drop the pressure a bit and they seem to grab more traction. They do very well on gravel, light sand, and dry clay.

    Great dual sport tire

The stock tire on my KLX 250S was a dunlop D606. It was more of a dirt tire and wore very fast on pavement. The TW 302 is more of an on/off road tire and is great for riding on both surfaces and last a lot longer.

    in jail for now

These tires are great, my xt-250 gave them a run for there money, but there not as fast as a hell-of-a-copter. So get these tires, but dont get to crazy they will last a long time and they will be waiting for you when you get out happy trails allen not on the run anymore.

    good dual sport tire

I ride my xr650L about 25 miles of twisty wet asphalt to get to the fire roads and these compare favorable to the best sport bike tires I've used during sport bike season. They hook up well at crazy lean angles. On hard pack dirt they do better than knobbys. On loose dry gravel is where I miss a more aggressive off road tire. Overall, for my situation and the amount of pavement I need to cover on my way to the dirt, these tires work great.

    Great Dual sport tire

Good on and off road traction. I ride off road a lot and I can hang with people on full on dirtbikes no problem. On road I can corner at higher speeds than sportbikes. Nothing left to say except these are great tires.

Good tire for the money and application

I first chose a Kenda 270 but found it spungy on the road. I then bought this one for the DR650. It wears much better than the Kenda and has great grip on asphalt, wet included. I now have about 4500 km on it and expect it to last another 2000 at best. I was expecting more but must admit, it was about 80% asphalt mileage. On the dirt, it's so-so. Good enough for the riding I do but the bike is heavy and not an MX. On wet gravel or hard pack roads, the rear likes to slide out a bit, which is fun as hell. The bike rides like a flat track racer. I haven't gone through mud or wet trails yet, but I expect it to slip and slide quite a bit. I am aware of it and ride accordingly. On dry dirt, it is great. No problems two up and much smoother than a full knobby. Corners great for a dual.

excellant duel purpose tire for all around use.

Have used the several TW302 tires on a XR650L in Colorado mountain passes, and highways. Works good in the dry and the rain relative to the rider’s ability. Even have hit the trails at Red River motorcycle park, where the Redbull Last Man Standing competition was held. But could of had more fun with a lighter bike and a full knobbie.
