Feels great

I had to replace the chain on my '04 Ninja 250. Since this would be my 1st time since I bought the bike, I decided to change both sprockets as well. I went 15 in front, 45 in back - provides a good balance for in-town and freeway use. This sprocket fit perfectly, and feels very well-made; I expect it to show little sign of wear by the time this new chain wears out.

Very good quality - does the job

Sturdy piece of gear. It's not identical to the sprocket that comes off the bike, so instructions as to which side faces out would be nice. Noticeably changes the gearing- drops about 500 rpm in every gear (heck-of-a-lot better on the highway).

Poor Master Link

Purchased expecting to have higher quality than original. Chain installed fine for length. After inserting the master link, I proceeded to attempt to install the master link clip. With minimal pressure being applied, the clip completely snapped in half. I had to re-use the old clip from prior master link which does not fit tightly. If the rest of the chain is as poor as the clip for the master link, I would not recommend to anyone.

these chains suck

I figured I'd buy two of these chains for a little more than a good one. BIG, BIG MISTAKE!!! I ride a 09 KLR650. I rode 800 miles and adjusted the tension on this damn chain at least 6 times. I moved the rear axle back 5/8ths of an inch. 5/8ths of an inch for gods sake!!!! That's 1 1/4 inches I had just put a new front sprocket on too. Now I have to replace both sprockets and the chain. These chains suck on duel sport bikes!

Chain

Great chain. Easy to adjust length and install. Takes a lot of pressure to install the master link. Price was right and it is of high quality. Great folks to do business with.
