My Third Trailwing for the DL650

As much as I'm curious to try others brands, I keep buying this tire as I'm very satisfied with its performance. In a heavy 7 hour downpour in the mountains of PA, they held fast and true on all the tight twisty curves. They're fine on gravel roads, I ride a lot of snowmobile trails in the summer, no problems. A word of caution though - mud is the enemy!

TW151 TW152

At first I was not sure being bike was new - once broke-in found they are very stable, predictable, and smooth on dry roads. Offroads were another story but speeds were reduced and psi was topped out after letting some air out they became more or less stable in offroad conditions. Be very aware before hand - your tire psi when you enter dirt sand rocky roads because, does make a huge difference how mine reacted DL1000ADV

TW152 OEM Replacement

This tire was on the bike (07 DL1000) from factory. Bear in mind my comparison would be a bunch of Dual Sport tires run on my KLR650 I had before the DL. Overall, fairly happy with the tire, could use more off road grip, but wouldn't want to sacrifice road grip for it. Life on the first tire was 7800 miles (although, cords were showing, should have been replace at 7K). More would be nice, but hey, it's a dual sport tire. Happy with it enough to buy a second set (not that there is a whole lot of choice for this bike). Thanks.

Trail Wing Dual Sport Front and Rear Tire

I like the front and rear tire set. They last long. The front tire wears great! No cupping. Aggressive look for my GS adventure. Plenty of traction on and off road. I dig em!

Trail Wing Tire

The tire works very well in hot dry climate including cornering. Where I was surprised was in the dirt. I took the V-Strom on an off road adventure and the tire worked very well. This is my second Trail Wing. I got 9000 miles out of the first one. V-Strom 650.

Rear TW152

I ride tour, sport, and Adventure on this tire. This is my third TW152. I get about 7000 to 9000 miles out of the tire. I simply find it a good tire.

good all around tire

27000 miles on the strom and this is my third trailwing. I ride hard on rough back roads and find the tire has great grip at sharp lean angles. It also works ok on dirt roads that are dry, also good in rain. Great tire at a very good price.

TW152 and TW101 - Great Tires

Nothing beats a new set of tires on a DL650. I have been getting about 8000 miles a set before I feel the need to change them. I could get another 1000 I think but I like heading into fall and winter with fresh rubber.

Bridgestone - TW152 Trail Wing Dual Sport Rear Tire

Over all, it’s not a bad tire for the money. It's not an aggressive off-road tire but does handle gravel and fire roads well, and I do like the tread pattern for the rear. Seems to track nice on pavement and give's a smooth ride. This is the first time I’ve ever owned a set of trail wings, and from what a few friends have told me they have a long wear life. We'll see, but so far, so good.

Battlewing

I had this on the bike when I bought it and it lasted just about 9300 miles. Worked OK, the front tire still looks great so I only replaced the back. I'd like to try something else next time, this one is fine but you never know.

Great dual sport tire

Dramatically increased street cornering ability and confidence on dr650. We all know there is not a perfect dual sport tire, but for my mostly asphalt riding, this tire is fine by me. Not horribly slippery on wet grass like street tires can be. Good for mild dirt riding. About 1000 miles now and very minimal wear. It is hard to rate tread life when I have not wore it out yet! Considering buying one again in the future.

Love them!

I like to keep enduro tires on my GS even though I'm mostly highway driving. You never know when you want to pop off the paved road! And the tread design was just what I was going for for my ride. These tires last forever and wear down evenly. No cupping, or uneven spots. Smooth ride whether you're going 30mph, 60mph or 110mph! :) My last rear tire lasted well over 7K miles. Love them
