Comfortable Boot and True to Size

Only had these for a month but so far they are more comfortable than my old Fly Racing Maverik MX boots. Sizing appears correct too.

Decent first boots

I bought these expecting them to be decent entry level boots, and was not disappointed, for size 14, they are roomy, and I put an insole in, to make them tighter. I hit some stumps with them and wasn't hurt. -They are stiff, and they may not make it thru a 2nd season, as one of the buckles is pulling out of the boot. and where they have the curved cut outs to flex, the plastic is tearing. They are not waterproof, so your foot will get wet pretty fast. -For comparison, my son got some Tec 5s at the same time, and we have about the same number of rides on the boots, and they are more flexible, have no tears, and buckles are fine. (but I've crashed more, so can't say a crash didn't mess up Oneal buckle) for a Cnote, don't expect them to be 5 year boots.

Yikes

These appeared to be well made and true to how they are described relative to their cost. I ride a V-Strom and my ankles are bent enough that the top of these boots dug into my calf. They were promptly returned, and for that I appreciate MCSS's great customer service. I suppose if there is a fully upright riding position, or if you do lot of standing, these would be fine.
