Not like the old neck braces

So, I'll give you a little background. I have over 300 hours of use on an older Leatt GPX series neck brace. The ones with the padding kits. My type of riding is also hours & hours of riding with this thing on(old Leatt). probably 4-8 hours at a time of wearing it(Old Leatt). I've also had one legit crash where my older Leatt GPX saved my neck. Yes, my actual neck! I figured it was time to upgrade(So I thought) to a newer one. I bought another Leatt because it is still, In my opinion, the best neck brace money can buy. Well, I received the GPX 5.5 in a Large/Extra Large. First thought when trying it on was "WOW THIS THING IS UNCOMFORTABLE!!!" (Compared to my old padded Leatt). Also, I have it adjusted out as far as it will go and still work. Do they make these things for 150lb MX racers only. GEEZ, I mean, come on! I'm 6'0" & 200lbs. I ain't that big. I'm not going to return it. This is the best option on the market compared to any other neck brace line. The others just look like a toilet seat around your neck. Remember, I have actually crash tested one(Me & Trey Canard!). The leatt's work, but the newer ones have serious comfort issues.

Very Disappointed

I had the original Adventure series and liked it so much I thought I would buy this one. The biggest mistake they made was moving the zipper from under the left arm to under both arms. It does not allow the top to "split" open to get into it. Try taking it off or putting in on when your hot and sweaty.....impossible! Why don't you make the zipper down the center like everyone else! Those are so easy to put on and take off. Mine did not even last one race season, what a waste of money.

Bees Knees

I bought these for my mate, but after trying them on, he swapped them with his son. His son says they fit great and feel awesome on. He loves them.

light and non binding

work smooth under jacket, non binding and no arm pump . just be careful not to yank them off, you just have to take it easy at the end of the day. good quality and sufficient protection

Good protection!

My first vest and neck brace and its a lot more comfortable than I expected it to be. I'm using it for downhill mountain biking and I'm pretty new at it so I tend to fall often. But since I bought this Leatt fusion 3 I don't feel a thing when I fall on rocks -on parts that the vest covers.(also Along with elbow pads and knee pads - hip /thigh pads). The neck brace helps with sore necks after riding plenty of drops and some occasional falls. All in all more confident and less black and blues. LoL

Great Knee Pads!

I like lead pads as they actually have sizes that fit me in XXL which no one else seems to have but they also seem to stay in place better and offer better protection and comfort. These are easily worn underneath riding pants for trail and MX being comfortable with leg sleeves or rash guard pants.
