Simple and effective

It's not a fancy product - just a cord to attach to the battery and a connector for the heated clothing. It does it's job. Cap to keep the connector clean is very nice. Simple to install. Overall length could be longer for certain applications but in general it is perfectly adequate.

Gears Gen X-3 Tempererature Controllers

I bought the controller for a different brand heated clothing hoping it would work. I have used it once and it works great. The connections are a little snug but it's because the ones on the controller are slightly different than what is on my heated gear. I can hook the controller on my jacket and adjust either top or bottom of my gear. Previously I had two separate controllers and no way to attach them to my clothing. Hence, I lost them on a ride. I am very pleased with my purchase.

So Far, So Good!

I bought this along with a "Firstgear 6in SAE Connection to DC Coax Jack Adapter" to use on the rear SAE battery tender connection on my '03 Honda CBR600RR. I haven't had it for long, nor have I tested it in rain, etc... However, it's worked great so far. Even with the connection adapter, it successfully charges my iPhone! =]

Heated Vest

The vest works great. Keeps me warm doing 70 at 40 degrees. Wiring harness is was easily tamed with Velcro. Quick disconnect lends itself well for mounting controls. I get 75 miles per gallon on my bike so each day I ride it to work saves me money.
