Kinda Bummed

Had ordered a pair of pirelli's before and raved about them, I think I may have sold a dozen pair to my friends at Harley. Rear tire was ready to replace and I ordered another. Got it in and checked date code on tire and found out it was 3 years old...Rubber was a little hard. Definitely not as sticky as the last set. Night Dragons gave my Fat Bob a rider's edge in going through the turns that I am not as comfortable with this round. Will definitely make sure I get a fresher set next time.

Great Tires

Excellent tires. The tire contact patch is the only thing between you and road rash...or worse.... I've been riding for over 40 years. ride dirt, sport bikes, and Harleys. The Pirelli Night Dragons are what I buy for the street. They stick...they stop... they turn.... they are predictable. Wet or dry. wear a bit fast, but that's the price you pay for sticky tires. My bike and I are worth the few extra dollars, and the riding is far more enjoyable when you aren't worried about the road......

I installed a front night dragon with no change in the stability. Later I put a new night dragon on the rear with drastic changes in stability. The 2008 road King cvo feels like I'm on ice. At about 65 the front starts to wobble. I never had this issue in the past.

I went through several sets of dunlops on my Wide Glide and I got tired of the price and low mileage. I found Pirelli Night Dragons for a lot less, about 7 thousand miles ago. Already 2 thousand more than dunlop. I still have about 1 thousand more to go on the rear tire but came back today to buy another rear tire. as a side note I also found out that you can't run the tire on the air pressure it says on the side wall. It makes for a rough ride.

build a better tire please

I have purchased several brands over the years. haven't gotten to perelli yet. My greatest wish is that some company would make a tire for the high heat of Texas roads and high torque bikes, mine is a 1854cc Yamaha Raider. Look, our weather gets @ 100 to 110 average , so the road is @ 120 to 130 . Add the increase in temperature from a high tirque bike and the average tire just will not hold up past 4000 miles before threads show up. That is also without ever doing any burn outs, just doing normal driving. Screw wet road conditions. Most guys do NOT ride in wet anyway. So PLEASE make a durable tire.i.e. if a truck tire can go 40000 why not a bike tire to REALLY do 12k? PLEASE.

Great Tire

This is my second Pirelli Night Dragon rear tire that I've put on my 2013 FXDBP 103 Street Bob. The front Pirelli Night Dragon still has some life to it. Far superior to the Michelin Scorchers that were original equipment. I also had a set of Shinko whitewalls, which just plain sucked. The Pirelli tires handle great in all conditions. Cornering as compared to the Michelins and Shinkos is noticeably better. They are the only tires that I will run on this bike from now on.

VICTORY

I am very pleased with the Night Dragons!! Replaced the original Dunlops on my Victory Kingpin at 6000 miles having handling issues. I thought there was something wrong with the bike. After putting on the Pirelli Night Dragons front and rear it is a dream to ride! Rode 8K miles this summer...will need another pair.

PIRELLI NIGHT DRAGON REAR TIRE

This is a great tire so far great stability and dry traction. Bike feels a lot better in corners. I didn't rate wet traction cause I havnt rode it in the rain yet and I havnt had the tire long enough to judge tread wear either Jessie

Absolutely LOVE this rear tire! Wish I could get it for the front as well but they don't make that size at this time. The Dunlap tire in front is a complete joke and worthless. Never will I purchase a Dunlap tire again!

Tire fit great on 07 fxdse, that was my biggest concern, tire width vary do much. Rides fantastic too soon to tell how long it will last. Avon venom basically fell apart, Michelin II 180 wasn't even 170 actual measurement, lasted about 7000 to wear bars.

I have had these Night Dragon on my HD Ultra Classic for 8 months now. I've road in rain and shine and so far these tires have been the Best all around tires for me. I've put approximently 4000 miles on it so far. These tires show no wear on them. I definitely will continue using these tires. Ride Safe My Friends.

2009 C-50 Boulevard had a high speed cornering wobble from day one. These Pirelli tires have completely changed the handling of the bike. Extremely stable now in wet and dry, tracks like it is on rails! Will definitely buy Night Dragons again from Motorcycle Superstore.

Amazing

Awesome tires! Put front and back on my HD Sportster Iron and I can feel the difference right out of the box. Grip is amazing, wet and dry, so much better than the stock Dunlops. Steering is SO easy, and they LOVE to lean into the curves... there's no way I'm going back. Pirelli recommends 40-42lbs of pressure front and back. I feel this is way too much, at least on the Sportster.
