great tires

New tire for an '01 valkryie. Replaced avon venom. Great tire super grip. Only about 500 miles on it so far. Am taking it on a 2500 mile trip in a couple of week's. I will update the review after that trip. So far I am extremely happy with this purchase. Tires were delivered on time and in perfect condition. Would buy tires from motorcycle superstore again in the future. Highly recommended.

Avon AV72 Cobra Rear Tire

This is the third brand of tire I've tried on my V-Rod, and its proven to be excellent. This set has over 8500 miles on it, the front tire shows little wear, the rear tire still has at least a couple of thousand miles left before needing replacement. I took advantage of the recent sale and bought another Cobra for the rear, but don't expect to have it installed until the end of the riding season.

AV56- storm 2 Ultra. 190/50zr-17

Great tire, the 50 series is lower profile than I wanted but the tire hooks good and tread life is WAY better than the Metz's.. 10,500 and still rolling..

Overall excellent

Motorcycle SuperStore. Thank you for your excellent service and communication with sales and shipping. Best company to do business with in U.S.A.. The cobra tire made a huge difference on my 1997 Dyna wide glide Harley Davidson. What a nice ride!

Cobra AV72

GREAT tire (so far). I replaced the stock Metzlers on my Raider after going through 3 of them ( rear - each lasting only ~ 4200 miles). I finished up a 8 day ride to Reno and back (total mile 2278) in all weather conditions (hot and dry and sever downpours) and road types (straight and severely twisty) tires performed flawlessly!! What would have eaten up over half of the stock tire barely touched the Cobra. It almost looks like I just put them on. I am one happy camper!!

Avon on my 05 Vic Kingpin

I currently still have my 2nd rear and first front Avon tires on my 05 Victory Kingpin. This is a heavy bike and I am so impressed with the Avon's that I have my 3rd rear and 2nd front waiting in my storage for the current ones to ultimatley wear out. I have 20k on the front and it still has tread. I get about 9-10k on the rears and I tend to ride fast and hard and usually with a passenger. I can highly recommend the Avons.

Valkyrie

I ride a 97 Valkyrie F6 I only have about 250 miles on them and most of that was on real windy roads and they were good.

Been a good, long ride!!!

Started a long time ago running AVON ROADRUNNERS (20+ years ago when AVON had an add about 18,000 mile guarantee for GOLDWINGS). I had them on my 1987 Intruder and got 23,000 out of a set. Changed a few bikes sense then, but kept the Avon's rolling. My 03 FLSTFI went from the VENOM to the latest AV71 & AV72 COBRA. So far 14,000 an counting. Handling through out the years, wet, dry, or braking has keep me up right and still going strong at 66.

Love My Avons

After a couple of Metzeler tires and a very slippery time in the rain, I switched to the Avon tires and love them on my Victory Hammer. They are not only great in wet weather, but great on the track as well. I drag race at Bandimere Speedway, and the Cobra tires wear well, have great grippy traction and look awesome. On the weekend, we go up into the Colorado hills and the advanced sidewall profile and construction is great for cornering, even with a 300mm rear tire. Love My Avons.

Love these tires!

I just bought a set of these tires for my '09 Harley Fat Boy (FLSTF) and I love them! The traction is superb. The wet traction I got to experience immediately after having the tires installed and they worked just fine. I really like the feel of the tires on the road, the bike just handles better now. I saved about $100 on buying the Avon's through the Motorcycle Superstore vs. buying them through the HD dealership. I highly recommend these tires!

AV71/AV72

I have had these on my 06' Triumph Rocket III for 3 years. While I am not a racing fool at 54 yrs. old. I do get on the throttle once and awhile. These tires grab and go under torq and H.P. Ask a real torq monster owner about how these tires stick. After 9,000 mi. I am ready to change them out for another set of Cobra's.
