This is a very nice helmet. My helmet size varies with the manufacturer. Initially, I ordered an XL and found that it was too tight. So, I returned it and purchased a 2XL. It's a much better fit, but a little too "airy" in the cheek pads. It would have been nice to be able to choose the cheek pad thickness that you wanted when you ordered the helmet. In the owners manual that came with the helmet, it does state that other thicknesses are available. I'll likely order the thicker cheek pad. Overall, a high quality helmet with good ventilation.
Normally wear a large. Bought a medium and it fits just right. Does not ride up on head at high speeds. (I don't use a windscreen.) I wear goggles & earplugs & have removed the ear/neck protector for the summer. Smart style with Triumph Bonneville. A good value. Recommend.
This is a good, comfortable, reasonably priced half helmet. The flip down visor is a nice addtion... wife really likes it, I prefer not to use it, but again for the price, it is nice to have options, as most helmets at this price do not have this feature. I have tried other DOT half helmets and one thing I like about this one is the "V" section of the straps (close to your ears) is padded and very comfortable compared to some of the cheap half helmets that the straps are not padded. The snap for the strap is also a nice feature, so it is not flapping around slapping you in the face. I think this is the best compromise in value and comfort in a DOT half helmet. Bought one for me and this one for wife and we are both happy!
I could have bought this helmet where I bought my bike. Good thing I didn't, I would have paid $50.00 more for it.
I measured at a large, I ordered one size up and it fit too snug at first. After using it a few times the fit is now perfect.
