Very good helmet , very comfortable to use. PINLOCK very useful in winter with the temperature close to 0 degrees Celsius , not the viewfinder fogging . For the value , it is an excellent cost / benefit helmet.
Having owned a Nolan N 103 previously I had high expectations for my new N 104 Evo. The helmet didn't disappoint. The shield is larger to allow better vertical and peripheral vision. The helmet is lighter and the ventilation system is improved. The noise reduction is better also. The only negative I have found is the latch system isn't completely padded to reduce chafing on my throat. Excellent helmet!
Not having had anything to compare it to I did read up on all the reviews before I bought it, I really like it. Very comfortable, good fit but runs a size small. Everyone complained the sun sheild doesn't come down low enough and the nose cut out is too big and I agree, that and wind noise is the only drawback. Not sure how much wind noise a modular should have and maybe some of it's due to the cowl on my ZRX1100. I really like the ratchet closure and the flat ring is still enough to use the helmet lock on the ZRX. The vents do not seem to move much air.
I bought an N44 1 year ago. It has good air flow for summer and seals well down into the teens. The sunvisor could be lower, but most sun visors are high. the B5 bluetooth works well, although at speeds over 75mph, it is hard to hear. I use the helmet without the chin bar in town and add it when on the highway. With a little practice, you can add the chin bar after the helmet is on. Best helmet for the money I have bought in over 20 years of riding.
Love this helmet and will do a quick pros and cons
-Quiet when i ride, can barely hear the bike
-Good Airflow, needed as it is hot as hell where i ride
-Sleek look, great design
-Purchased the blue screen, love it, looks like master cheif
-Very light, i prefer a heavier helmet
-Fit is a little small at times and its hard to put the helmet on without getting my dumbo ears a bit caught.
