Michelin Pilot Power Rear Tire

Choosing the right tires for your sportbike is the ultimate chess game; you typically win a little there and lose a little here. • Rubber mix remains tacky even at low temperatures
  • Grooved area is less than 12% of tire area for phenomenal cornering adhesion
  • W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph
  • Michelin Recommended Use: 95% Street Riding / 5% Track Days

These things are great. Never had a problem with traction anywhere wet or dry. Ran the rear almost smooth after about 7000 miles including 2 track days. I bought another rear for my drz because they wear great for the traction they give, and the price is great too.

These are the best sportbike tires hands down, grip that keeps you glued to the road, better turn initiation than most tires, plenty of grip for full throttle exits, and have decent treadlife; I average 5-6K out of them on my 750. I've been using them since 2006 and just keep hoping they don't stop selling them!

You can't ask for a better cheap tire. I push this thing to the edge all the time and I have gotten accustomed to the limits of the tire, that being said it's very predictable, functions poorly on asphalt transitions or grooved pavement, funtions great on a contigious tarmac surface. I ride supermoto, laying the bike way over, grinding pegs and it will stick, if it's warm it will hold a 45 degree angle at the proper speed no problem.

Tire will not handle big power, fishtails on hard takeoffs. Wobbles on road seams. I dont trust the tire; will be removing it and putting a 009 raven back on.

150 rear fits DR-z SM no problem, use w 120/70/17 ft, way better than the stock 208's

I got over 7,000 miles on this tire and it just now got down to the wear bars. I probably would have gotten more miles out if it, but I accidentally road the tire with low pressure for a couple hundred miles. Good all-around traction, even in the rain. I ride a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R

I low sided through a tight corner with these tires. I have done this corner before with Dunlop’s and made it just fine.
