I put this tire on my 86' Yamaha FZX700 and I will never use another rear tire after using this Spitfire! I have over 7000 miles on the tire and have plenty of tread left; I've put this tire against every road condition you can imagine and it's kept me happy 100% of the way: long trips, packing double, canyon carving, rain, etc. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!

I actually purchased my first set of Spitfires because of the raised white letters. The performance and durability made me buy only Spitfires ever since (three years now) I only buy them from Motorcycle Super Store because they always have them (no back orders) and the price is right.

This is the second set of Spitfire's I've had on my 1985 XV1000 Virago. The look is correct for the bike and they handle and wear very well. I can't speak for wet traction, as I never ride in the rain. I got years of service from the last set, and I expect the same from these.

I was sold after putting the first set on my GoldWing in 1996. S27s on front and S11s on the rear. Best handling tire I've ever run on a heavy bike, and I'll never go back to another brand. Averaged 12k on rear and 18k on front tires. With this tire on a touring bike (GoldWing, Suzuki GS1100GKe, and H-D FLHTCU), you never have to slow down for weather (except ice). I have ridden year-round in 19 countries with Spitfires on several bikes, and highly recommend them to anyone.

I have always ran Pirelli, but because of price I decided to try these on my Yamaha tour deluxe. I will not buy them again, they are noisy and track terrible on tar snakes. I have never felt this unstable while cornering as it seems very loose in the back on a hard corner. I'm going back to Pirelli!

So far the tire seems to be doing a very good job, it tracks well around corners. I have not had to drive in wet conditions so that is yet to be seen.
