I choose this tire over the Dunlop GT501 and so far I am very pleased. I have put about 1000 miles on it since I bought the tire about a month ago and I can say it is a lot better then the GT501 that I had before. It corners well and when I drove it home in heavy rain the other day and it has excellent traction, even with the soaked roads.

I have always been prone to choosing the Bridgestone brand of motorcycle tire for my Honda CX 500, CX 650 Euro Sport, GL 500 Silverwing, GL 650 Silverwing, and BMW R65 LS. This is because they were recommended to me by my rider friends and racers. One of the best aspects of these tires is the low, low, low pricing I was able to get from Motorcycle Superstore.

First of all, this tire arrived *ridiculously* fast. I have no idea how it got here so fast. But anyways, yea, the tire rocks. My only comparison is to the dry-rotted Chinese tire that was on my bike before and looked like it was made in 1985, but the Battlax has a nice wide shoulder, loves to be leaned, grips great under breaking, and most importantly (for me) doesn't look like it belongs on a GSXFZRBusa. No offense, but you know what I mean...

Replaced both tires with BT-45V and couldn't be happier. Went from Bridgestone Spitfires to these for my 81 Honda CB900F and noticed the improvement right away. Great tire for my 81"GS1000g. She has eaten most tires alive at 700+lbs and my heavy English ride style. Tire holds under heavy knee down games of tag on are rough log and coal roads. Smooth power transfers between compounds. It's the A4 and the Pilot all in one! Ride safe, Ride smart, wear your leathers, Love the day.

I Installed this on my 2000 VMax, paired with a Shinko 150/90V-15 Rear Tire. I'm very happy with it's straight line and Cornering Performance so far. No Front nd wobble and very stable in twisties/sweepers. I can't speak to Tread life yet because I've only had it on for about 1 Month so far. If it lasts a decent length of time I will definitely purchase another when it's needed.

I mounted this tire on the front of my 85 V65 Honda Sabre. I hand mounted and balanced the tire. It mounts well: secure but not too stiff to mount by hand. It balanced without much weight. It rides smooth. The round profile offers predictable handling at any lean, when compared to square or sharp tire profiles that are either reluctant to lean in or want to immediately fall into a steep lean angle. There is adequate grip for my riding habits, providing plenty of confidence.

For my daughter's bike. She had complained about the stock IRC's feeling "greasy" and small. A newbe, (3yrs) she claims greater stability and positive feedback. Comparing them to the old, indications are that she is leaning further into turns. Ignore "Tread life" stars...no data yet. As usual, MSS delivers. My only complaint is that my, now former, local bike shop slapped me with $45 PER TIRE! to spoon them on...and I did the R & R. Next time, I'll definitely try the MSS installer...

First, the tire came redonkulously fast. Put this on the front of my '84 CB700--one of the few tires available in recommended size. Tire already has 1k miles on it, zero complaints, still look great. Very sticky. I've hit a lot of edge traps, gravel roads (construction), and some really twisty roads, and the tire did everything I asked of it. I'm putting one on the back when the time comes.

I put this tire on my 86' Yamaha FZX700 and it's a superb tire to say the least, I have over 7000 miles on it and have plenty of tread left! It handles great in any and all conditions I've paired it up against, and highly recommend it as I will continue to use this tire from here on out. I ride aggressively when it comes to cornering/canyon carving and have noticed it wears much faster on the edges of the tire than the main center tread patch.

I used to run Avon Venom tires on my '77 BMW R100 and really liked them, sadly I recently went from spoked wheels to OEM cast wheels so was looking for new tires. I settled on the BT-45V after reading about them on the internet. Mileage is still to be determined but handling is very good. They are a fast tire design which gives a quick steering/handling feel and so far I haven't managed to break traction while leaned over and I have pushed them to the edge of the tread.

One of the best tires I have ever run on my Suzuki GS1000G shaft drive bike, cornering is great, good stability, good wet traction and no crack chasing even with a little over 9000 miles on them, still very impressive. I will be replacing them before I take off for my 3500 mile trip in November, but I will be installing another set. Can't offer enough praise for these tires.

I purchased the Bridgestone Battlax BT-45V about a month ago from the Superstore, I am very happy with the price and the delivery. I installed the tire recently, fit and finish is perfect. Since I did not put on enough mileage on the tire I can not make a statement on its durability but I am sure I'll get satisfactory mileage.

I've tried other tires, but none were as good as these for my 88 Hurricane. They are very stable, get great traction, and the price was reasonable. I commute 120 miles per day and have been using BT-45's for over 50,000 miles with no complaints.

This is my second set of BT 45's and I love them. The grip better and wear better than the Metzlers I used on my BMW k100rs in the past. I've done two long sport touring trips, both including several passes on the Tail of the Dragon, and I had no trouble keeping up with many of the modern sport bikes. These tires inspire confidence, and even grip well in the wet. I got about 6000 miles out of the rear, and 8500 out of the front. They seem to wear better at 38 psi front and rear (on my 550lb bike). That’s more than the owner’s manual says to run in the front, but at lower pressure, the sides wore more than the center. I would definitely recommend these for sport touring.

Just put the tires on a little over a week ago so I can't say about the tread life. I am very pleased with the tires and they make the bike a Honda Nighthawk750 ride like new. Wet and dry traction is very good for a sport-touring type tire. This tire feels very stable when riding on rough pavement and when cornering but still makes throwing the bike around fun. IMHO this tire is a major improvement over the stock tires and unless the treadlife fall very short of my expectations I will buy them again!

This tire came at a good price and seems to be much better than the stock Dunlop tire that came on my Nighthawk. Have not ridden in the rain yet so I can't really review how they perform on wet pavement. They improved my cornering abilities and definitely gave me some piece of mind when going out in Michigan's quickly changing weather. The tread seems decent, I will have to review the tread life when I have put much more riding in. Good price, good tires, and quick shipping!

I love these tires. My commute is about 22 miles of back country road. Bumpy, hilly, with some twisties too, and these tires really grip. I can get about 8,000 miles on a set, but after about 6,000 miles they lose a bit of grip. When fully threaded they are amazing.

I installed this tire on the front of my 86 ZG 1000 and I love it. The tire inspires confidence right from the start. I have no idea how long it will last but if it goes over 10,000 miles I will be very happy. I can't wait to try the matching rear.

I ride a 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 and for those of you who don't know what that is, it IS where all this Superbike stuff started. I have had many different tire types, sport and track day, and I am here to say, these BT-45V's are every bit as good as the latest, greatest out there in terms of grip hot or cold, wet or dry. It isn't fair for me to judge tread life since I go through tires so quickly but for me its all about grip, grip, grip and these things deliver!

Had the tires installed on my 1986 VFR700. I have now put a little over 3000 miles on this set of tires. What can I say, they track really well and the grip is really good. I believe that when these finally wear out I will have another set of them waiting to be put on.

This is my second set so I came back to a good thing. Ride-ability is very good in all areas. Reasonable pricing, in fact, Motorcycle Superstore matched the other guys price. Another reason to come to what you know! Mileage is 8000-9000, which could be better but you give a little to get a lot. The price makes the difference. I ride from Fresno to Vegas 6-8 times a year on my Concours at high speeds two-up and I feel very confident.

Everything you can ask of a tire and more is what I found out after mounting a set of these V's on my 1978 KZ1000. They make the bike rock steady with easy turn in and holding at all angles. The amount of trail braking they allow is absolutely insane for a street tire as is hard exiting off corners at full lean. One word? Unbelievable!

Replaced Met 880s on my C10 Concours with a pair of these. They set a little lower than the Mets so better ground control at stops. I feel much more comfortable with these in the twistys.

So far so good! The tires (Battlax front and rear) provide excellent feel, turn in, and stick in the corners. They seem to ride smoother than the Metzler 880s I've always used. I haven't had them long enough or ridden in the rain to rate longevity or wet traction yet, my initial feeling is they are a delineate upgrade over the beloved Metzler for "enthusiastic" sport touring on my BMW!

I just went for my first long ride on this tire yesterday and was pleased beyond belief. I replaced the Metzlers that BMW freaks are so fond of and couldn't be more pleased. Smoother ride, more confidence in the twisties and more compliant over the rough spots. I feel very good about my selection. Time will tell on tread life, but for the price I can put up with any reasonable performance in this category. I will tell my friends to try out this tire.

These were my first pair of new tires to replace the standard set that came with my Ninja 250. WOW, what a difference! I immediately felt like I was sticking to the road and even grooves in the ride are practically undetectable now. I got these just before a 1200-mile tour, and I can say for sure that if I didn't have these tires, I don't think I'd have handled the twisties as well. NOTE: I don't have experience with Wet Traction of Tread Life because I just got them, so I gave them 3 stars.

This is the second BT-45V for my 2002 Kawasaki Concours. The first tire went 10K plus on the mileage, but was starting to cup on the edges, so ride quality and handling was dropping off fast. Great tire value for the price paid.

So far, I've been on the new tires, BT45V, for only about a month but they are the tire I was looking for. Great profile makes the tire fast but not so much so that it is a surprise. The tires give the feel of stability and predictability. I've not had them in rain yet so I can't comment to that. These are great tires for an older bike.
