Factory replacement...I had no idea that my tires were as flat and worn as they were. I'm glad I got me some new rubber. It's a whole new bike! If you're THINKING about new tires, you probably need them.
Pleasantly surprised!!

These tires are great! They are dirt cheap but definitely worth more. Turn in is quick and they hold lines great. They're also great about not following tar snakes. Lightyears ahead of the excedras that came on my bike.

This tire was purchased as a replacement for the K630F OEM tire for a 2006 250 Ninja. The OEM size is 100/80-16 but the size I bought was a 100/90-16. I did this to restore the bike's suspension geometry back to the way it was before I upsized the rear tire. The additional height of the 130/90-16 rear caused the steering to become a little jittery. Replacing the front with the 90 series Bridgestone completely solved the handling issue. The steering on this bike is now rock-solid- in fact the bike handles better now with 13,000 miles on it than when it was new. I would recommend the 90-series Bridgestones as a replacement tire to anyone who wants to upgrade from the OEM Dunlop 80-series tires. You should replace them as a set- not one at a time like I did.

I've used these tires in the past on several different bikes and have never been let down. For a bike that can't take a modern radial tire these are about the best things going. They handle well, are great in the wet and last a respectable amount of mileage for how sticky they are. I got about 10k rear and 15k front out of my Ninja 250 and about 7k rear and 13k front on my GS700. Both bikes in mixed highway/city commuting with a bunch of fun rides in between.

Well. I have this tire for 2-3 months already on my Yamaha XT600. And I tested the limits of my bike. I think that I finally have the tire that I need for my type of ride. I did some stunts and was amazed how that thing is sticking to the ground. I did some stopies that I never could do before cause the tires were slipping like crazy.

I replaced my factory tire on my 08 ninja 500R with this, along with a 140/70 rear. Its much better than the factory, the original was pretty worn, and at medium speed cornering I was starting to feel a slight wobble in it. I have had this tire on for a little over 1000 miles, and it seems good, I have rode through rain, and also a 300 mile trip on the interstate on a 95 degree day, no issues. good tire for the price.

After running painfully expensive, allegedly sticky European tires on my '70s BMWs, the change to BT45s was a revelatory experience. For older bikes whose wheels require unfashionable sizes (e.g. 19" front, 18" rear), I think these Bridgestones are just the best by far. I've briefly run the BT45 front with a mismatched (Pirelli) back tire without trouble. But at the price, and given the sweet increase in performance, I'd definitely rather run BT45s front and rear.

Fitted to a 2001 Kawi W650. Tires are really good so far after just a few hundred miles. Can't say yet about extreme braking, tread life or wet conditions but they corner very well indeed and are straight-line stable. They seem to be very well adapted to the W650.

Great all around tires. I Bought a set of BT-45s (110/70/17 & 130/70/17) to replace the worn IRCs that came with my Ninja 250. Huge improvement in stability, wet/dry grip. The BT45 130 is a little wider that the stock IRC 130. Only have a little over 1k on them so far so can't comment about thread life.

I actually use this tire for mini Supermoto road racing. With correct tire pressures and rubber up to temp., I can corner hard enough to drag knee with ease on the race track (i.e. in a controlled environment). I would run these on a street bike with no hesitation. I feel it’s better to give up some tread life for more traction. Great tire, Be safe and ride smart.

After reading multiple reviews and recommendations from track guys, I chose Bridgestones. I'm glad I did! They aren't as sticky for cornering as bt-003's, but for the Street, they're perfect. They provide more feedback to the handlebars, yet follow road tar and grooves less. The wet traction is much more predictable, and dry breaking distance is greatly reduced. They just don't slide or break free as easily. I'd recommend these to anyone else!

I'm not a racer yet so not much experience on different tires. Though after a few fishtails on hard short stops, bought these and have felt much safer. Another hard short brake that probably would have ended bad on previous, cheaper tires, these brought me to a quick stop comfortably and without losing traction. Don't feel hindered at all from riding in the rain. Can't rate tread life. Need NA option.

Great tire for the money. Getting harder to find tires for some of the older (mid-80's) Jap bikes and these were the correct size. Seem to work very well in all road conditions. I have them on a couple of my other bikes as well. Excellent tire, for a good price, great value!!

I purchased these tires for my 07 ninja 250 after wearing out the Pirelli sport demons.(front:100-90-16 rear:130-90-16) Here are some of the pros and cons I have noticed. Pros: Awesome wet traction, extremely long tread life. Cons: Pirelli's were stickier; these are slightly less stable while cornering when compared to Pirelli's (you still can corner hard enough for street riding). Overall these tires are great for highway and canyon riding due to their tread life. Pirelli's corner slightly harder but not by much.

I use these tires on a 2004 Bonneville and usually get 5-6K miles. Fronts and rears wear out at about the same time. They're smooth, quiet and sticky enough to drag pegs and stop quickly. I also have a set on a DRZ 400S with 18/21 wheels that I ride on street and supermoto track. Grip is good at street speeds. At the track, I can drag pegs but I start sliding on the track at lower speeds than bikes with radials, but sliding around on the track is a hoot.

This set of Bridgestone Battlax BT-45's are the first after the stock Meltzer’s that came on my bike. So far I am very happy with them and like the feel and cornering ability. I have not had a chance yet to see how they do in the rain and after only a month can't say anything about tread life.
Excellent compromise between traction and treadwear.

I ride a 2007 Kawi EX500 and these tires replaced the stock rubber. The difference is day-to-night. I don't ride nearly as aggressively as I used to, so the traction and cornering aren't as good as say, a Metzler sport compound, but you'll get more treadwear than 5000 miles, too. Note that for aggressive sport touring, these tires are excellent. This review also includes BT-45 Rear tires in the stock sizes, as well. 110/70-17 and 130/70-17.

Much better than the stock tires on my Ninja 500. I'm sure they are not as sticky as a race tire but they are more than adequate for street use.
