Leon - July 15, 2008(gauteng, IN)
I ride a Suzuki gsf650. I have done currently, over 12000kilos on a set and must still have about 3 to 4ooo kilos left. There is not a better tire on the market for long life, high speed traveling, and cornering in all conditions.
Thank you Bridgestone for a safe tire and I would recommend the tire all day long to everybody I know. Thanks again
E Rodriguez - February 27, 2009(Corona, CA)
Tire works well. It took the wobble out of the front end. No problems to report. 500 miles on the tire since I put it on.
Bridgestone BT-020 OEM Replacement Front Tire,
Todd - February 25, 2009(San Diego, CA)
This is my 3 set of these tires for my Honda ST1300. Love the way they last 12,000 miles on average of hard riding. Always a solid feel in rainy weather as well.
See you in the twisties.
Original Equipment tire
Joe Wright - November 11, 2008(Longmont, CO)
This tire went over 13000 miles on the first set that came with the bike and probably still had 3000 left on it when I changed it. Hopefully this replacement will do the same.
BRIDGESTONE FRONT TIRE
SALLY YEE - July 28, 2009(GLENDALE, CA)
Great quality product!! Fast shipping service!! Customer service knows their stuff!!
Kim Budde - August 19, 2009(Rockford, MI)
This tire hugs the corners and the tread lasts for many more miles than the competition. Going on a 3000 mile trip next month and you can bet I wouldn't trust my tires to any other than Bridgestone! Looking forward to my third trip out west from Michigan! LOVE this tire!
Hard to judge only after 700 miles but...
Jim B - August 21, 2009(Huntersville, NC)
I have not personally put many miles on the tire, but it was OEM on the bike when I bought it and the tire still had tread after 12K miles! I just replaced a BT021 and only got a miserable 4K miles on that tire. That is why I went back to this one since others have had such luck with it. So far, the bike has handled wonderfully but I have not ridden in the rain yet. I have done about 700 miles on it, about half through the twisties, and I really like it so far. Maybe this front tire will outlast the back tire!
shaip - June 23, 2009(hawthorne, NJ)
Awesome you people are GREAT I never thought it would be so easy. I will always see you for everything that I will purchase first, made my situation so easy. You will be dealing with me for the future. Products are very cheap also in price. Thank you very much.
Great tire for everyday
Milo - September 30, 2009(Mesa, AZ)
I'm not an aggressive sport bike rider but I do like the occasional twisty road. The factory put a set of these on my '06 Ninja 650 when it was new and the front lasted just over 13,000 miles. The tire has great grip and predictable handling characteristics everywhere. I was happy to put a new one on the front and so far (300 miles now) have been getting more of the same great performance.
Bridgestone BT oem front tire
Eddie Nicholson - October 23, 2009(trussville, AL)
I enjoy the Bridgestone tires, they work well for me and my bike, got it for a great price, and the shipping was great. Will be needing a back tire soon and I will get it at the Motorcycle Superstore. Thanks.
gary horne - October 12, 2009(redford, MI)
Can't beat for the money, millage or performance. Made for the ST 1300 Honda.
Eugene - April 12, 2010(Hibbing, MN)
I have a Kawasaki Concours ZG1000, the OEM tire was only good for about 5000 miles. I was able to get 17000 out of my last BT-020.
Joe - March 16, 2012(east brunswick, NJ)
OEM tire operates great but tire wears out very quickly and wears unevenly.
Charles - March 26, 2012(Atlanta, IL)
I ride a Kawasaki VN2000 I continue to use this tire because it produces good traction in both wet and dry conditions. This is my third set of tires.
Bridgestone Battlax BT-020
Yuri - September 21, 2012(Greeley, CO)
Great tire and great site with professional customer support! Thanks.
Vincent - September 27, 2012(gainesville, GA)
These are the best tires i have ridden on they warm up quickly, stand up quickly after a corner, keep your air pressure at manufactors recommendation, and you have along lasting grippy tire.
Sinbad - May 22, 2013(chicago, IL)
These BT-020 are awesome, my last set I wore the s*^t out of them for the last 3 yrs and they kept on going to the last thread. Just replaced them and they feel great, I get a smooth ride all day. I still haven't had the chance to ride wet weather but I rode the last set through rain and hail storms and they got me through the worst. Thanks Bridgestone. I highly recommend them...
Stones on a Heavy Weight
Dan - August 17, 2012(Cincinnati, OH)
BMW K1200LT is 880# dry weight and the BT020 is my preferred tire for traction especially when the roads are wet!!
Scott - June 07, 2012(Aiken, SC)
Been a good tire. I have almost 16000 miles on present BT-020 and it still looks like I have several K left.
BT020 OEM replacement tires
Ken E. - June 03, 2010(Recalculating, VA)
This latest purchase was for my 4th set of Bridgestone BT020 replacement tires on my Honda ST1300. I've had such good performance with these tires in regards to rain, tread life and the twisties that I can't see risking a couple hundred $$$ on anything else. The prices here at Motorcycle Superstore are also hard to beat.
Great tire so far
Steve - October 20, 2009(Camby, IN)
I have taken several sporty rides with this new Bridgestone tire the Battlax. I can not believe how smooth an easy you can roll into corners at high speeds. I have had to modify how I drive so I don't oversteer. Rather than leaning hard I just push and sit up more on the tank. This gives me more confidence and margin for error if the road should have some debris in it.
James Long - February 02, 2010(albany, GA)
I love this tire. Performance is good for a basic stock tire.
Pat Arnold - September 12, 2008(Little Hocking, OH)
Very good tire. Running it on an ST1300. Had a BTO21 and it was total junk. Went back to the BTO20 and I'm happy again.
Bob - September 15, 2008(Santa Maria, CA)
I try 2 sets Road Pilots did get the mileage out of them. Went back to a know good mileage tire for ME.I look for mileage and handling. I don't ride in the rain unless I'm caught in it.
Bridgestone Battlax BT-020
Andy S - September 16, 2008(New Canaan, CT)
I ride a Ninja 650R. Tire grips very well when properly inflated and warmed up, even when wet. Stable and predictable up to its considerable limits (I have no chicken strips). When its cornering limits are exceeded it starts to slide safely and benignly. Wear is incredible, except that a hard outing with a bunch of racers has the front scallopped a little, which causes chattering on hard braking. Tires when cold and under-inflated tend to slide.
Bridgestone -BT-020 - Front
Chris Bode - February 17, 2010(Newbury Park, CA)
I have been running BT-020's for the last eight or nine years on my K-1200LT and have found them to be a great handling tire especially in wet weather. I ride the twisty mountain roads aggressively and usually go through two front tires to one rear tire. The front tire will last about 4000 - 4500 miles when ridding the twisty mountain roads.
Nice handling tire
Rick S - October 12, 2009(Wenatchee, WA)
I bought the BT-020 before taking my BMW R1100RT on a 1,500 mile trip to Glacier National Park, up into Alberta and back through the Canadian Rockies. The tire handled beautifully in the turns, offered confident traction and was smooth at all speeds. It will be awhile before I know what kind of mileage I get from it. But I had run the last one into the ground and a new tire makes all the difference in the world in terms of handling. Great tire, great service, great price.
Elvin - April 16, 2010(Ehrenberg, AZ)
Got 8000 miles out of the original tire and this is the first replacement. Satisfied with the wear and ride.
Joe - May 21, 2010(Grand Rapids, MI)
Exact factory replacement for my ninja. Couldn't be happier!
BT 020 Bias on 2009 BMW 100LT
Garth W. - November 08, 2010(Saskatoon, SK)
The secret to higher mileage is running these front tires on higher pressure than spec. My first tire only lasted 6,500 miles @ 38psi. When running @ 42 psi my next one went 10,000 miles. The bulk of the mileage is riding 2 up. The cupping issue was far more pronounced with the stock pressure.
deke - January 16, 2012(orlando, FL)
Does everything a tire should do. It holds air and keeps the rim off the pavement.
Bridgestone Battlax BT020
Eric - October 23, 2012(South Kingston, RI)
I commute 450 mi/week on my Honda NT700V and I'm about to replace the original set of Battlax BT020s with the same tires. I've got 14.683 miles on the OEM set in over 12 months of riding. Why try anything else?
Peter M - September 30, 2009(AcWorth, GA)
I have had this tire on my Bike since it was new and I have 16,459 on it now. I do mostly hwy. miles and have driven in the heat, rain snow and am well pleased with this tire and will probably go back with this tire. Hope it will continue to have this tire on the market.
Great Tire Poor Tread Wear
Paul D - May 04, 2009(Rice, WA)
I have these tires on a 2002 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. I don't know how some of you are getting 15k - 17k on a set. I have 17k on my bike and have gone thru 3 sets already. That's less than 6,000 miles/set. I am 57 and ride mountain roads in Northeast Washington so the terrain is varied and I'm not a drag racer. Great tires overall and I'll buy set #4 but don't expect the mileage some of these guys are claiming because you'll be disappointed if you do.
Bridgestone - BT-020 OEM Replacement Front tire
Wade - July 07, 2008(Chilliwack, BC)
Just went on a 1000km plus road trip after getting this tire put on the front of my 2006 Busa, can't beat this price for a OEM and the ride is great for a sport touring type of bike, feels great.
Dave - April 07, 2010(Citrus Heights, CA)
Good tire for the money but it tends to cause head shake upon deceleration. It wears like iron in cold weather but not so much in hot. All in all the best tire for the ST1300.
Scott - July 17, 2009(Arlington Heights, IL)
Tires are great; however the Motorcycle Superstore is the reason I bought them here. Great service and great prices. I did alot of checking and they were the best. Don't know about tread life yet and haven't ridden in the rain with them yet.
Good tire overall
vlad - September 27, 2011(Naples, FL)
These are good tires but in my case they only lasted about 8000 miles. I have a ninja 650r and at 8500 they are worn down to the thread!
Dan - September 27, 2011(South Pasadena, CA)
I ride an '03 VFR800 and the 020 is the OE tire. This is my third set and I continue to use them because they work and wear very well. I believe I got 10K out of my last pair. I never have any issue with 'cupping' on this model.
Too soon to tell...
Lodewyk S. - February 03, 2011(Plano, TX)
Overall a great tire - but it is too soon to tell what the tread life will be and if it will also cup like the Metzler ME880's on my K1200LT. As an alternative to the Metzlers ME880's, the Bridgestones are both cheaper and grip better but doubt the tread life would match.
Andy - March 10, 2011(New Canaan, CT)
This tire is neutral handling, very stable and hard wearing. Traction fairly good when properly warmed up and dry. But treacherous when cold and/or wet. In the wet it lets go without warning, but it is very forgiving and self-correcting. I've skid the rear tire in the rain on corners and just relaxed my grip on the handlebars. The bike countersteered and the rear just slid 130 degrees around the front.
On cold, rainy spring days both front and rear drifts on turns. I learned a lot about drifting and skidding, and it was a lot of fun on local rides. But they just required too much care and attention for longer rides. Replaced these with Conti Sport Attacks, and they have yet to slide or let go except a little bit on sand once.
howard h - June 22, 2010(edinboro, PA)
Very happy with these tires. This is my second pair and would buy them again.
Bridgestone - BT-020 OEM Replacement Front Tire
John Faught - May 26, 2009(Oak Harbor, WA)
I replaced the front tire with the same tire that was on the bike for the last two years. I love this tire because it wears very well and I have not had any traction problems with it and I LEAN into the turns. Wet or dry this is a great tire. There may be better ones but I know how this one is. I'll buy the same tire when this one wears out. I rated it 4 in all categories to leave room for perfect. There is no such thing as perfect.
John M Keryeski Jr - August 24, 2009(Herndon, VA)
Great tire, seems to be a bad match for bike. The FJR tends to eat front tires, as I get less miles from a set of BT 020, than the BT 014's on my CBR. I do however understand it's a heavy bike, and I do not have a fork brace on the FJR. Overall I really like the tires, I would just rather not use 2 sets a year for light touring and a 60 mile commute into Washington, DC. Rain & winter commute, very comfortable. I ride 50+ weeks a year to work, so I see a lot of weather changes.
E.Scotty - November 24, 2008(Henderson, NV)
This tire came as OEM on my Yamaha FZ-1. They knew what they were doing with this choice! I replaced the rear tire after 15,000 miles! That's when the tread wear bar showed up. Replaced w/ same tire and have 9k on it and still looks great. The chicken strips on the side are about 1/8", so they hold excellent also. I live in the desert, so no rain to try out the grip, but lots of HEAT in the summer! The front tire lasted another 2k but was cupped pretty bad. I replaced the front tire w/ BT 021, better choice for the front, I have 7k on them and they still look great.
Stephen Grant - May 20, 2009(Loveland, OH)
I didn't realize my tire was so far gone until I put this new tire on. It seems better than when I got the bike.
I can go into the curves instead of fighting them. Good tires.
Not impressed at all.
Terry Vella - November 11, 2008(Boise, ID)
I own a 2006 Yamaha FJR Sport Touring motorcycle. The Bridgestone BT-020 tires came stock on this bike. As a sport rider who likes to take long trips, I look for a tire that has the grip of a sport tire and longevity of a touring tire. These have neither. After owning Pirelli, Metzeler, and Michelin tires on previous bikes, I think this tire is not impressive in any respect. When new, they gripped decently, but after a thousand miles or so, the grip was marginal and gave me little confidence in corners. They also wore out about as quickly as a pure sport tire. They don't offer much road feedback. Wet traction seemed to be ok though and there were no problems with high speed stability.
Bridgestone - BT-020 Front Tire
Rick - February 25, 2010(long hill, NJ)
Stickier than the Metzlers I'm accustomed to, but the front cups at 4k and down to indicators by 6k. Don't have the cupping problem on the rear but still not much tread life after 8k while on my BMW K12LT.
VN2000 OEM replacement
Dan - July 17, 2012(Lombard, IL)
I have a VN2000 Classic which I purchased new. Replaced the front with OEM after about 8k miles but should have replaced it at about 6k due to cupping. After some research it looked like sticking with the OEM was my best so I did. The new tire is great and MCSS pricing and delivery was outstanding.

OEM REPLACEMENT FOR MY 2006 YAMAHA FJR. IT PREFORMS AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL. GOOD PRICE, QUICK DELIVERY; I'M VERY SATISFIED.
Jess - March 15, 2011(San Luis Obispo, CA)
I have a 2008 Ninja 650R and it came stock with these tires. These tires are great for the mileage. I got 12000 miles on them before I replaced them. They slip during corning so overall for the price and the tread wear I would recommend these tires.
