I ride a Suzuki gsf650. I have done currently, over 12000kilos on a set and must still have about 3 to 4ooo kilos left. There is not a better tire on the market for long life, high speed traveling, and cornering in all conditions.
Thank you Bridgestone for a safe tire and I would recommend the tire all day long to everybody I know. Thanks again

I have not personally put many miles on the tire, but it was OEM on the bike when I bought it and the tire still had tread after 12K miles! I just replaced a BT021 and only got a miserable 4K miles on that tire. That is why I went back to this one since others have had such luck with it. So far, the bike has handled wonderfully but I have not ridden in the rain yet. I have done about 700 miles on it, about half through the twisties, and I really like it so far. Maybe this front tire will outlast the back tire!

I'm not an aggressive sport bike rider but I do like the occasional twisty road. The factory put a set of these on my '06 Ninja 650 when it was new and the front lasted just over 13,000 miles. The tire has great grip and predictable handling characteristics everywhere. I was happy to put a new one on the front and so far (300 miles now) have been getting more of the same great performance.

I have taken several sporty rides with this new Bridgestone tire the Battlax. I can not believe how smooth an easy you can roll into corners at high speeds. I have had to modify how I drive so I don't oversteer. Rather than leaning hard I just push and sit up more on the tank. This gives me more confidence and margin for error if the road should have some debris in it.

I ride a Ninja 650R. Tire grips very well when properly inflated and warmed up, even when wet. Stable and predictable up to its considerable limits (I have no chicken strips). When its cornering limits are exceeded it starts to slide safely and benignly. Wear is incredible, except that a hard outing with a bunch of racers has the front scallopped a little, which causes chattering on hard braking. Tires when cold and under-inflated tend to slide.

I have been running BT-020's for the last eight or nine years on my K-1200LT and have found them to be a great handling tire especially in wet weather. I ride the twisty mountain roads aggressively and usually go through two front tires to one rear tire. The front tire will last about 4000 - 4500 miles when ridding the twisty mountain roads.

I bought the BT-020 before taking my BMW R1100RT on a 1,500 mile trip to Glacier National Park, up into Alberta and back through the Canadian Rockies. The tire handled beautifully in the turns, offered confident traction and was smooth at all speeds. It will be awhile before I know what kind of mileage I get from it. But I had run the last one into the ground and a new tire makes all the difference in the world in terms of handling. Great tire, great service, great price.

The secret to higher mileage is running these front tires on higher pressure than spec. My first tire only lasted 6,500 miles @ 38psi. When running @ 42 psi my next one went 10,000 miles. The bulk of the mileage is riding 2 up. The cupping issue was far more pronounced with the stock pressure.

I have these tires on a 2002 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. I don't know how some of you are getting 15k - 17k on a set. I have 17k on my bike and have gone thru 3 sets already. That's less than 6,000 miles/set. I am 57 and ride mountain roads in Northeast Washington so the terrain is varied and I'm not a drag racer. Great tires overall and I'll buy set #4 but don't expect the mileage some of these guys are claiming because you'll be disappointed if you do.

This tire is neutral handling, very stable and hard wearing. Traction fairly good when properly warmed up and dry. But treacherous when cold and/or wet. In the wet it lets go without warning, but it is very forgiving and self-correcting. I've skid the rear tire in the rain on corners and just relaxed my grip on the handlebars. The bike countersteered and the rear just slid 130 degrees around the front.
On cold, rainy spring days both front and rear drifts on turns. I learned a lot about drifting and skidding, and it was a lot of fun on local rides. But they just required too much care and attention for longer rides. Replaced these with Conti Sport Attacks, and they have yet to slide or let go except a little bit on sand once.

There may be better ones but I know how this one is. I'll buy the same tire when this one wears out. I rated it 4 in all categories to leave room for perfect. There is no such thing as perfect.

Great tire, seems to be a bad match for bike. The FJR tends to eat front tires, as I get less miles from a set of BT 020, than the BT 014's on my CBR. I do however understand it's a heavy bike, and I do not have a fork brace on the FJR. Overall I really like the tires, I would just rather not use 2 sets a year for light touring and a 60 mile commute into Washington, DC. Rain & winter commute, very comfortable. I ride 50+ weeks a year to work, so I see a lot of weather changes.

This tire came as OEM on my Yamaha FZ-1. They knew what they were doing with this choice! I replaced the rear tire after 15,000 miles! That's when the tread wear bar showed up. Replaced w/ same tire and have 9k on it and still looks great. The chicken strips on the side are about 1/8", so they hold excellent also. I live in the desert, so no rain to try out the grip, but lots of HEAT in the summer! The front tire lasted another 2k but was cupped pretty bad. I replaced the front tire w/ BT 021, better choice for the front, I have 7k on them and they still look great.

I own a 2006 Yamaha FJR Sport Touring motorcycle. The Bridgestone BT-020 tires came stock on this bike. As a sport rider who likes to take long trips, I look for a tire that has the grip of a sport tire and longevity of a touring tire. These have neither. After owning Pirelli, Metzeler, and Michelin tires on previous bikes, I think this tire is not impressive in any respect. When new, they gripped decently, but after a thousand miles or so, the grip was marginal and gave me little confidence in corners. They also wore out about as quickly as a pure sport tire. They don't offer much road feedback. Wet traction seemed to be ok though and there were no problems with high speed stability.
