I am about to buy my second 704 for my '06 Gold Wing. I love the handling and ride and I got 14,000mi out of the first one so who wouldn’t try another one. Love the tire!!!!

We put on this Brigestone with hopes of a great all around tire, we haven’t had good luck with the E-3's. as of our last 3000mile trip this rear tire is excellent, we have hit many twisties and had to do 150 miles of Heavy RAIN--NO SLIPPING OR SKIDDING-I think this tire will be the best I have ever put on my 1800 Goldwing.

I bought this tire for my 2012 Victory Cross Country. I Have tried Dunlops, Avon's and this is my third go with Bridgestones. By far they have the best cornering and wet/dry traction. The tread life is a little shorter than the Dunlops AND Avons but the traction cornering and value far out way the tread life difference.

Put a set of the E3's on my 03 GW1800. Not pleased at all. They feel loose in the corners, really loose on any slurry seal. Have ran stones for the past 40k, decided to switch to E3's. But they are coming off tomorrow. I'll sacrifice mileage for performance and safety. Little bit softer tire, means better traction.

I have two Goldwings. 2002 with 170,000 miles and 2007 with 101,000 miles on it. I have used most brands of tires. I only use Bridgestone 704 and 709 anymore. They handle great and the rear I get 10,000 to 11,000 miles the front I get around 20,000.

My '02 Wing came with the Bridgestones. Initially I wasn't happy with the mileage on the rear tire but what little you might lose there is made up for in safety. I let a dealer talk me into some other tires and I almost put the bike down in the first rain I rode through. I would recommend the Bridgestones to any biker that rides in inclement weather as most Wing riders do!

These tires only lasted me about 8000 miles on my aggressively ridden Goldwing. I love taking the corners fast, and these tires aspire confidence. Unfortunately with a heavy bike and usually a heavy passenger, the tires only lasted one year. They are worth it though.

I've previously run the 2003 stock Dunlops (not the Elite IIIs) and Metzler Marathons on my 2003 Wing, and the Bridgestone Exedras are by far the smoothest. They grip the road like glue. The rubber on the Stones seems much softer than the Metzlers, so I might not get the mileage I got on the Metzlers. But that's a tradeoff I'm willing to make. The prices at Motorcycle-Superstore can't be beat. For comparison, I called a local dealership for a quote. If I had purchased the tires at a local dealership (at a 15%-off sales price) and had them mounted by the local dealership, the cost would have been $773 -- $444 for the 2 tires and $398 (!!) to mount them. I got the tires from Motorcycle-Superstore for $310 (delivered in 2 days!) and paid a preferred installer (who happened to be just 3 blocks from my home) $100 to mount them. Total: $410. I saved $363! The amount I paid for the 2 tires AND mounting ($410), was just $12 less than what the local dealer was going to charge me just to mount the tires! Unbelievable.

I've had the tires for about a month, and the 1 to 5 category ratings above don't have a "n/a" field, so they are not too accurate. As far as handling goes these are a big improvement over the stock Dunlops. The tire curvature radius is smaller, so the bike leans with much less effort. Took me by surprise at first! Entered turns with way too much lean at first, but now that I'm used to them I love the handling. I find I'm more confident in the twisties, a little more speed too. Definitely recommended!

Put these new stones on two days before I left for a road trip to the mountains. Man what a difference over the OEM Dunlop. They stick like glue and track very nicely. No problems at all when wet, and I got caught on some super curvy roads in some very heavy rain. I am planning a trip to Maine this summer so I'll have to let you know on the tread life, but at just over 2000 miles on these tires, and they are looking good, with no signs of cupping yet.

Bought the front and rear tire for my 2008 Goldwing about a month ago and have put up 2,000 miles of the best cornering and handling on this bike ever. No comparison to the orignal tires, they are so much better it was like getting a brand new bike. I haven't seen any excessive signs of wear yet but even if I get 25% less life out of them they are worth every penny and I will definitley buy them again.

This tire is awesome, it handles a 900 pound bike through the twisties beautifully. Just had a 400 mile weekend over 4 mountain passes and loved it. The Goldwing is such a kick a** bike...havent ridden in rain at all really so no review there. My last Bridgestone only lasted 8,000 miles but I usually have a heavy passenger...makes up for tread life with outstanding overall performance.

Have tried Dunlops, Avon's and this is my second go with Bridgestones. By far they have the best cornering and wet/dry traction. Strong crosswinds make the bike a handful and mileage is not the best with these tires. However they stick like glue and are worth the price.

Best tire for cornering on the GL1800 I have put on so far. Not as noisy when cupped as the Elite III. Have 6,000 mi on the rear and it is ready for replacement. Will be going back to the Elite III as they last much longer and scrape the foot pegs just as well as the Bridgestones.
