I will not get another brand of tire Dunlop, Michelin Etc... This tire never let me down and lasted one full year that’s not bad for a gixer 1000. I use to put a new tire on the back in 2 months I'm on over a year and 13,000 miles later still have the tires. Just ordered a new set and hope they last but I'm not worried. They will !!!

WOW!!! Just over 10,000 miles and ordered my new set. These tires even beat the Pilot HPX for mileage. Was putting on new tires on the Busa every 3k miles (HPX got about 7) but these lasted longer and are better priced. Thank you Bridgestone!! Dan in Phoenix---Yes, it is 112 degrees here today :) BTW...There is not a shred of chicken strip on current tires ;)

I bought a 96' ZX-11 as a commuter/2-up bike aside from my 2007 Buell ZX12R. When I took the bike in for a major tune up I asked for a suggestion for tires. The BT-021 are what the Staters use here in Washington. With good result, these are great tires. 6300 mi. on Pirellis on my XB and a brand new set of Corsas waiting for install......What to do? What to do?

I have had the BT-021 rear on for about a month, and have put about 2000 miles on the tire. The rear is showing little to no wear and has performed perfectly in both wet and dry conditions. The Bridgestone front and rear set get 50 to 80 miles of use Monday-Friday, and 200-300 miles on weekends. So far I am very pleased with the Bridgestone BT-021 tire set and the service I received from Motorcycle Superstore.

I put a set of these tires (front/rear) on my 06 GSXR 600 and rode from CA to Deal's Gap. Spent a week there and never felt them slip once. I did notice the turn in was a bit slower, but I expected that from a ST tire. Got caught in 3 T-storms on the way back and they performed flawlessly. Rode over 6000 miles in 17 days and by the time I returned home, the rear was just beginning to get a flat spot in the center, mostly because I made it back in a little over 40 hours and was slabbing it the whole way! You will not be disappointed with these if you are looking for something that will perform well and give you great mileage. I should get 10000 miles or more out of the rear.

"Street Vibrations" 4-day weekend in Reno was comin' up. My rear BT-014 was down to threads. Instead of buying new BT-016, decided to go for better wear-life with BT-021. Am more than pleased with grip & tread pattern. Great trip to Reno. -- JS

This tire is awesome. It grips the road so well! I haven't erased my chicken strips yet (I'm still wearing off the protective coat) but I know I'll be able to trust these tires for a long time. Ample amount of tread and it feels good leaning into turns with this baby. Plus, you can't beat the price.

At this time I have less than 700mi on this tire but I love it. It seems that it will have a long tread life on the center hard compound and the sides for cornering are fantastic. Super grip and confidence. I am coming from Metz. Z6 Interact and would buy this tire again. It is at least as good if not better and $60 cheaper!

Purchased this tire last spring actually and so far have put on roughly 4,300 miles on it and I have yet to notice visual wear on it. I'm very impressed with the tread wear at this point. The tire feels more comfortable vs. my old Dunlop 208D, but I was expecting that since it is not a SS tire. I'm okay with that. It grips very nicely, even in the mountains. Highway riding is also nice. Haven't had any issues with the tire. I usually run it at 38psi. I will be getting the front BT-021 as well.

I ride a 2006 DL1000 which absolutely EATS rear tires. Prior to trying the 021 I had a Tourance, Dunlop D607, TrailWing and an Avon Storm. The 021 has outlasted all of them. My last 021 lasted probably about 7K miles or so. I see no reason to buy anything else. Traction has been very good wet or dry and on all conditions of asphalt. Don't try to go off-road other than maybe hard packed county roads...

This is a fantastic tire. I have used these on a 2002 CBR 954RR, and a 2004 CBR1000RR. They offer excellent traction right off the bat, and give seemingly limitless confidence. I would typically get a minimum of 15,000 km for a set, and I would say I am a reasonably aggressive rider. No chicken strips here. I love this tire, and HIGHLY recommend it.

I have put over 14,000 miles on these tires. I just replaced the front and shopping for the rear. It has some life left but I know it'll need replacing some time this year. These are in my opinion the best tires I've ever purchased for my GSX-R 1000. I know they aren't OEM for my model year but....... I will ONLY install Bridgestone Battlax tires on my bike. Bridgestone, keep up the technology and good work and help bikers like me stay safer with reliable tires that handle their business.

The BT-021 are good all around sport touring tires. I do a lot of riding in the Appalachian and Smokey mountains. The tires performed well in all conditions--dry, wet, hot or cold. They offered great stability and confident corning capability. I personally got more life out of the rear than with the front on my FJR. Two front tires to one rear. I would recommend this tire to anyone desiring a great ride that will stick when where it counts.

12000 miles ago I replaced some other BT tire that was on the bike when I bought it. So far I'm pretty impressed with the tire, I run about 80 miles a day and depending on which route I take it can be a ton of freeway (yawn) or some really good canyon roads. Wet or dry this tire has yet to disappoint, as a year round rider this is important especially while blasting the Ortega Highway or zipping through the canyons of De Luz. I'll be putting another set on this week.

I bought these tires to replace the BT-16s on my K8 Gsxr 600. I rode the bike from Texas to Cali 3100 miles round trip. The tires held up with no problems. The offer great feel on the highway and have great tread life. I have put just over 6000mi on the tires and the rear is JUST starting to show a flat spot. I ride mostly hard (accelerating every chance I get) highway/commuting miles and the bike held up great with a very good feel. The tires have seen 150MPH+ a few times, the highest was 157MPH(GPS) In the rain the tires are just as great never had the bike slip out from me in corner or while accelerating. The Tires worked great even in the corners of Glendora Mountain when I went to Cali. The only problem I observed was the tires gets stubborn in extreme angles. The tires just don't want to lean anymore, not that they can’t, you just have to push them harder than expected. I guess this could be considered a good thing as it’s only a sport-tourer tire and really isn’t made for canyon carving. (I have about 3mm of stripe on either side left, Don’t really want to push it on a tourer tire) Overall a great tire for dry/wet performance. Anyone looking to get a lot more miles out of their supersport should really look at these tires.

I bought the bike with M3's on them that had been used for commuting. When I was done with them, they probably had close to 6k miles on them and were pretty dangerous. I got these, had them installed and scrubbed them down and broke them in. They have been great and have had very little slip in the corners, but I don't push very hard as I am still learning on the bike. I've already put probably 600 miles on them and tread life seems excellent.

Not enough miles to comment on tread wear, nor any wet riding yet. The few mountain roads I've been on with the new tire were a much better experience that the standard Dunlop that come with the bike. I would highly recommend it

I purchased the BT-021 to replace my BT-016 tires that did not last past 4000 miles with only riding and no burnouts. My other Ninja has the BT-020 tires and have almost 5000 miles on them with very little wear so I went with the newer model BT-021. The cornering is excellent and dry traction is very good but it hasn't been in the rain yet. So far it has been good but it still takes time to determine tread life. It has been a good overall all around tire and I will buy it again. The same tire sells for over $200.00 local so the price and delivery time was excellent.

I ride my bike year round and wanted a good all-weather tire to replace the Q1s that were on my bike. These tires handle well in adverse conditions. I hit some gravel a few times when the snow thawed here and got a little wobble in the corners but never went down. I've had these for about 1000 miles and I don't notice any wear at all. I think these should last for a really long time. Handle well and very smooth. Only downs side is that the long life means the rubber is very hard and takes a while to heat up. I have had the rear wheel lock/spin several times when braking hard or accelerating quickly, and I am not that aggressive a rider.

As winter has arrived and I ride 300 days out of the year the improvement that I feel with the first light rains has been tremendous. More confident, more feel, all around better performance. I ride a Vstrom 1000 and spent a long time trying to figure out what tires to replace the stock ones with...sometimes the internet is just overload. I ride 99.9% of the time on the street and the tire performs well. I am no expert and have only tried the stock ones and these, but this is much better for my riding style and uses. Can’t really say much about tread life...only had them for a month.

This tire is a replacement for a BT014. I have only put about 300 miles on this tire, but I have noticed two things of note: Aggressive acceleration and cornering on this tire while cold will scare you... warm up the tire. It gets sticky, but it takes a little bit. The other thing is that it has a much stiffer sidewall compound than the 014, which gives you a very solid 'edge' feel at lower lean angles, and that takes some getting used to as well. If, like me, you have unconscious expectation of how the bike will 'feel' in the twisties then you are in for a change. It’s not a bad thing, especially for the roads I ride, but you do notice it. I bought the tire for tread life, which I knew meant giving up some grip, so no harm no foul. I will let you know at around 3000 m how the shape is holding up.

I run these tires on a 02 Meanstreak.I know it’s odd but I have been riding on Road Attacks and before that Pilot roads. I had no luck with the Stock Dunlops when I ran for long distance 5 or 6 hundred mile days the front would cup. These Battle axes were hard to get used to, they are aggressively shaped and the differential compound felt hard in the center and I thought they might not hold in a turn. I was wrong with a little practice they let me push to the hard parts. No edge so not too stable in a long straight line. But jeez 2 great tires for under $250.00 that’s a buy

These came OEM on my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14. I got 9,874 miles before changing. I've since tried Pirelli and Dunlop Road Smarts (out of town when tires needed changing), both, especially the Road Smarts, have been a disappointment. I'm pleased with the Bridgestone's.

Got caught in a rain storm on the way home from work, fortunately it had been raining all day so the oil/trash was gone. The tire had 14miles on it so I was very gentle with the bike but it felt rock solid all the way home, I even got away with a corner acceleration on a 90degree turn. The bike and tires felt firm on the road.

I like the BT-021, great handling, good feel. One major problem I have with these tires is that they wear very, very quickly. I got 2750 miles out of a rear tire on an SV650. When oil lasts longer than tires, it's time to try something else. Granted, the roads in my area are abrasive, but this is the shortest lived tire I've ever used. I've got a set of Michelin Road 2's on the bike now and at 2500 miles, no sign of wear. With the Road 2's I'm very happy with the handling, wet or dry. If you need to get reasonable mileage from your tires the BT-021 isn't the answer.

I mounted these about a month ago and have around 1500 miles on them so far. Tough tire to mount, very hard side walls. Mounted them with Dyna Beads and no weights. On my ZRX 1100 at all speeds they felt very smooth and soak much of the road issues found in New England. Cornering is much better than the 208 Dunlops I replaced. With only 1500 miles they look new and have extremely deep tread so I can only guess 7000-10000 is not out of the question.

Great overall tire. Cornering is great as long as you don't lean it all the way, gets kinda unstable when you get close to using all the tire. Never had an issue in the rain, feels planted to the ground. Got about 7k out of it still have a tad bit left but doesn't feel safe. Great tire for price is my overall thought.

I installed a BT-021 on the rear. I purchased this BT-021 for its advertised dual-compound tread and projected longer life. So far I have almost 4k miles on this rear tire, and it is wearing just fine. But I've noticed during high cross winds, the rear tire wants to slide sideways out from under me!?! I've noticed this several times on the freeway, so I just slow down and take the side roads instead. I'm running the specified 36 psi front & rear. So buyer beware!

Very steady on straighter and dry roads. Handles the load of the big bike 2 up and fully loaded. Smooth transition from entering to exiting all curves. Hangs in during hard acceleration out of tight curves. Detected a slight lateral motion when hitting standing water during rain. Unlikely to get 6Kmi on this 2nd 021. The first one was babied during bike break in. To be fair, the 1600's torque eats rear tires for lunch. Got these at a very good price and shipping was eye popping fast.

Installed these on my '05 Triumph Thruxton. After riding @ 500 miles on this tire I can highly recommend it. Traction in corners is fantastic. Nice, fast turn in compared to the Dunlop I took off. Very good brake feel. Too soon to tell about tire life, but there is no reason to assume these tires would not give good life. I am very happy with these tires and plan to buy them for my Concours when those tires are due for replacement.

I got sick of spending $$$ on Michelin Pilot Powers, only getting 3k miles or so out of them. Much better mileage out of the 021's. I wanted more of a "dual purpose" tire that can go off road if necessary, since I ride my bike everywhere I can instead of just the track. I haven't ran this tire on the track but I run it hard in the twisties and it handles just as good as the Michelins.

I put this tire on before I rode to Daytona, FL. I can say it did well on the trip. I have only put a couple thousand miles on it and it still looks new, so tread life seems to be good. We rode in the rain half of the trip (all day, first day) and I had no grip issues with it. The rest of the trip was dry and once again no grip issues. The tire is stable and smooth. I didn't shred up any corners, so I can't really comment on the cornering ability of the tire, but those rides are coming soon. May have to post another review after the cornering rides! Good tire and great value!

Installed these tires on a new-to-me DRZ400SM, to replace the worn Michelin Power Sport it came with. The difference between old, worn tires and a new set is, naturally, like night and day. After an afternoon carving Hwy 1 through Big Sur Park, I felt confident in the tires' ability to take any corner I threw at them. The bike handled very well, stable, and never exhibited negative tendencies. I feel they are appropriate for sport touring purposes. I use the bike to commute to work every day, for which they are perfect. Have not had a chance to test them in the rain/wet pavement, and too early to tell tread life, hence middle scores by default. Prior experience with BT tires tells me a 3 for wet traction may in fact be appropriate. Finally, I run a tubeless setup on the stock rims; use of tubes on this bike may change the tires' handling.

Over 1000 miles in both wet & dry conditions, the tire performs very well. Center is just showing wear so the tread life should be spot-on for a dual compound tire.

After replacing a set of very un-enjoyable Dunlop Roadsmarts with the -021 rear and the -016 front my bike handles like it should. Turn-in is low-effort and predictable, holds the line well through corners without additional input, and doesn't stand up under braking. The ride is compliant and inspires confidence. No opportunity to ride in the rain as yet or get a good feel for tread life.

I am good at tire comparison. The BT021 is ok for the price. In the rain, it is only so-so, and it hydroplanes easily, and otherwise does not inspire confidence in the wet. Dry performance is good for the money. I feel that if the dollar difference is close, the Dunlop Roadsmart is a much better choice, it is much better in the rain, and has better feel on dry tarmac. I love the Michelin Road 2, which excels relative to other tires I've tried, but cost quite a bit more. The Continental Attack is horrible in the rain, but the sipes should have tipped me off. Dry was good. With the $ saved with the BT021, it covers installation. Most tires last only about 4,000 miles on my Triumph Tiger, so every dollar counts.

I bought these tires for my CB 750. The back tire has quite a bit of wear for only 800 miles of road time. It is winter so I'm not getting to aggressive with the riding style. The aspect ratio of the front tire is real steep. I don't feel the contact patch is spreading out at aggressive lean angles. I like the Pirelli sport demons better. I thought with the duel compound I would get better wear out of the center of the rear. I think I will keep looking for the perfect tire. This is my 4th set of different style tires on this bike. I haven't tried dunlops yet. So far, I like the sport demons the best.

2nd 021 on this bike. Steady as a rock on the straight and dry. Feels a little light on standing water. Mileage is marginal, typical 3 flat rings after only 1800 miles. This one may not make 6Kmi before changing. First one did but I was breaking in the bike gently.

Bought this tire for my '04 ST 1300 because it was supposed to provide longer tread life BUT it doesn't. The OEM BT020 were excellent performers and I got at least 9000 miles out of each of the first two sets of tires. My BT021's are about toast after 5000 miles. They handle well but no better than the OEM's so Don't waste your money if you are looking for more mileage.
