I have a 2005 Ninja 250 and decided to replace the stock tires with these...it was well worth the money! The day I had them mounted I rode home in the pouring rain and the bike didn't slip once. I have put about 100 miles on so far, and it seems 100% better tire than the stock Dunlops.
Sport Demons on my Nighthawk
Ron - October 01, 2009(Mountain City, TN)
My nighthawk 750 had the Pirelli Sport Demons on it when I bought it last fall. The front tire was pretty much due for replacement, but the rear had over half of its tread left. I didn't really want to mix tires, but I wasn't thrilled with the performance of the tires on my bike. So I bought the same tire again and I am very satisfied with my decision to keep the Sport Demons. Thanks, Superstore for the best selection and lowest prices on the web. I've got you listed in my favorites.

If you have an older biker an want a performance tire that will make your M/C rock these are the ones to buy.

Great Tires, love everything about them.
Very good tire!
Michael - March 16, 2010(Las Cruces, NM)
I have Sport demons on front and back of my Ninja EX250. Infinitely better than stock. 100% satisfied.
Ridiculously awesome for the ninja 250r!!!
Jason - May 13, 2010(Salt Lake, UT)
These tires are great! I put them on 07 ninja 250r (Size for ninja (88-07 model) front 100-90-16 rear 130-90-16). The stock Dunlop tires that came with the bike are horrible. They would not stick to the road and made the bike oscillate. After putting the Pirelli tires on the bike handles corners and brakes much better!!! DUNLOP K630 TIRES ARE JUNK!!! GET THE PIRELLIS!!!!!!

The best mod that you can do to this bike.
Jeffrey - March 29, 2011(Tucson, AZ)
This is the best tire I have bought in years. It didn't even require a balance. I put the red dot on the valve stem and that was it.
Allan - April 29, 2011(Bellbrook, OH)
Tire arrived quickly in good condition. After a 200 mile ride on dry roads I can say it handled better than the Bridgestone it replaced. Sale price was a bargain.
Ninja - September 16, 2011(Hamilton, ON)
Very sticky tire - grips well while cornering - would definitely recommend this tire.
howell g. - October 10, 2011(edmond, OK)
I changed front & rear. Both are very good tires. I am satisfied with them.
Great tire for 250R
David - February 09, 2012(San Francisco, CA)
Was looking to upgrade the stock tires on my '09 Ninja 250R. After a little internet research, all signs pointed to the Sport Demon. Awesome tire and a great price. They feel great and the bike handles way better than stock. If you have a 250R, stop looking and buy these.
Kevin - March 21, 2012(Granger, IN)
Amazing tire, could tell a major difference in the feel of my bike with it on and even someone who did not know they had been switched could tell there was a difference in the ride.
Chad - March 26, 2012(Keizer, OR)
I bought these to replace my stock tires after catching a screw in my front tire on my Ninja 250.
I instantly noticed a difference and I noticed even more in the rain!
These tires are awesome! I won't be getting any other tires as long as they don't discontinue this line. Way to go Pirelli!!
Now I have way better traction in any situation, from take-off to cornering. Highly recommended!
GREAT for the older Concours!
Jack - April 18, 2012(Terre Haute, IN)
I have purchased these twice now, to replace Metzlers and Dunlops. They are outstanding! I take the turns with confidence and have never been disappointed. Also, I ride in any weather, and they handle it all with ease. They are the only tires I buy for my Concours!
sport demon front tire

very pleased with this tire

These tires feel even better than the last Pirelli's!!
mike - August 28, 2012(argyle, NY)
I have these tires on the front and back of my katana 750. They have performed flawlessly. Right after I got them we went into a rainy period, and they have done fine.in the dry they hook up like much more expensive tires. With a little over a 1,000 miles on them there is little to no wear showing. on a budget? Buy these tires.
New to this tire - happy so far
Jack - September 05, 2012(Seattle, WA)
I replaced the Dunlap’s on my 75 Moto Guzzi Convert because of poor tread life and terrible handling on grooved surfaces. I tried a Bridgestone S11 but it was not stable at speed. This tire is rock solid at high speed and corners far better than either tire I had on before. I have no experience with tread life on these tires but I expect it to be excellent and the review wants an answer.

I was so glad to find these in a 16 since that's what it takes for my 86 Ninja. So far a great tire.

Top tire alot better than the dunlops.
Excellent tire for old sport touring bike
Ross - January 17, 2013(Houston, TX)
I have just put a 1982 Yamaha XV920RJ Eurosport on the road. These Sport Demons were one of the very few that offered the right size of tire I need. What a find. Great performance all the way around. A perfect tire for this retro sport bike. I am really pleased with this tire. The older bikes generally use thinner tires than todays crop of crotch rockets, so I am really pleased with these tires and their cornering, traction and stability.
Ken - March 19, 2013(Woodland Hills, CA)
Second set on my 1979 Honda CBX and still can't believe how great they corner. Smooth, comfortable and good tread life, too. But, man do they corner! Able to keep up with newer bikes with bigger radial tires.
Murray - March 12, 2013(chi, IL)
Fantastic tire, not a lot of choices for 16".
Jason - August 27, 2012(Elkhart, IN)
I just road a pair of SDs into the ground (about 12,000 miles) and I'm ready for another set. Best tire by far that is available for the EX250. Great traction in the wet too. Join the cult of sport demonology.
fritz - July 31, 2012(hampton bays, NY)
Mounted on an 83' VT-500 and it has taken a fun ride to the next level!! Only have about a 1000 miles on them in past 3 weeks, and showing no wear so I put a 4? But they do love the corners(-:)
This will be my new tire of choice!
Kaelan - June 29, 2012(Fargo, ND)
I used this tire to replace my old dunlop front tire on my 86 Yamaha Fazer. It is an awesome tire, plain and simple. I used to have to push the bike into turning but now it gently rolls into the turn. It rides nice and smooth on interstate and still doesnt float around on gravel roads. Perfect!
Awesome, but many inbetween
Ryan - April 20, 2012(Atlanta, GA)
Everything rocks on the bad boys, I've had 2 set changes so far...bout to change my rear in a couple months. I ride 500 miles a week for school and work...I love these tires, and they hold up pretty long, but wear out pretty quick. 6k-12k usual wear time...no burn outs, no hot rodding... I ride a 2010 Ninja 250R enjoy
Pirelli Sport Demon
Hoover - June 12, 2012(Cedar Rapids, IA)
Installed on my Yamaha Radian. Great looking tire with lots of traction in wet or dry. I am willing to give up mileage for confidence on cornering.
Pirelli Sport Demon
Jack - April 09, 2012(Sun City, AZ)
In my 56 yrs. of riding, racing, and wrenching all over this continent and others, these are probably the overall best tires I've ever had. They came stock on my Moto Guzzi and this is my second set of replacements.
Kevin H - November 04, 2011(Robertsdale, Al, AL)
Perfect tire for 09 ninja 250. Great traction & cornering ability, never slipped on me through water or anything. I would recommend to anyone these things perform really well!
Ron A. - November 04, 2011(Norman, OK)
Very sure footed tire, makes cornering easy.
Pirelli Sport Demons
Gary - August 31, 2011(Capital District, NY)
I chose Sport Demons for my '99 BMW F650 primarily because few street tires are available for this bike. But given my experience with these tires, I'll buy them again. Very satisfied. As always, MCS delivered on time, at the best price.
Sheldon - August 31, 2011(PE, AA)
Best looking and gripping tire I have found yet...
pirelli sport demons
john - May 28, 2010(wallingford, CT)
good solid tire, use it for my kawi ex 500. there sticky.. not too sure about the tread life considering ive only had them for about 500 miles but i had one emergency stop and skid the back tire and it didnt do any apparent damage.
id recommend to any good starter bike. 500cc or smaller
Pirelli - Sport Demon Sport Touring Front Tire
Ken K - September 30, 2009(Gainesville, FL)
This tire replaced my Brigstone. I am very pleased with the handling at all speeds. I did notice that there is some road noise at certain speeds that I did not have before. I do not have a tread life critique since the tire is brand new.
Pirelli - Sport Demon Sport Touring Front Tire
Red - June 01, 2010(albany, OR)
I ride a v65 sabre, so far, so good, I had Avon's on before the Demon's, so the demons are going against the best. No hard curves yet, but I feel they are going to do just fine. Good price, good balance, good in the rain, high speed good, if the hard cornering and tread life is good I will be buying another set.
Alan - September 01, 2011(Dallas, OR)
Recently put these on my BMW k75s and love them! Much better than the stock Metzelers. Can't rate wet traction or tread life yet, because I don't ride in the rain (in OREGON!) and only have a few hundred miles on them, but I'm guessing they'll do well. For me, it's all about cornering and these tires are truly DEMONS. Definitely recommend them!
Paul - August 03, 2009(Springfield, OR)
I can’t really review the tread life or wet traction since it’s only been about three weeks, and no rain since I put them on (I bought the set) I can tell you that I am very pleased so far. I ride an old FJ 1100 that’s just a beast, and the tires feel great. After the scrub in I hit the twistys. Great traction for a tire that by all accounts has longevity, and good wet performance. The price is also great. I would definitely recommend these to the guy who may not completely live for the next corner, but if the mood is right for some carving you can trust these.
Dan - July 18, 2012(Austin, TX)
Bought to replace the Bridgestone BT-045 on my wife's Ninja 500, since MC Superstore doesn’t stock them anymore. Replaced the front with the Pirelli and another Bridgestone on the back. Tread pattern was almost identical. Great tire, great stick. No complaints from the wife (100+ mile per week rider) only a few hundred miles so I can’t comment on tread life. If it lasts 5k I'd rate this tire a complete 10
I Like it!
Tom - January 15, 2013(Albany, NY)
Very good tire and thankfully since so few manufacturers make tires in the size I need for my 86 Honda.
Sport Demon Tire

Great tire for older bikes...handles great!
Great for a Ninja 250R
Chris - November 26, 2012(Redmond, WA)
I purchased a front/rear set of the SportDemons for a 2008 Ninja 250R. These tires have done well in the rain and cold. I look forward to how they handle in the summer. Lean in easy and grip well. Confidence inspiring! Too early to gauge tread life, but I expect these tires to have a long life.
A must for the Ninja 250.
Jason S. - July 28, 2010(Goodyear, AZ)
Bought based on the hype, and the hype is true. These are great tires. Very satisfied.
Pirelli Sport Demons - Front
Addy - July 20, 2009(Dallas, TX)
Had these tires on my '07 Kawasaki N-250, now have upgraded to a '09 Kawasaki N-250 and have upgraded stock tires to the Pirelli's. Again, they have and a producing as required. Handling has increased 2 fold, traction light years ahead of the stock IRC's. The bike now cuts through corners like a knife. Safety is very important, these tires assure it.
Curtis - August 03, 2009(Lansing, MI)
Sticky sticky sticky! Haven't got to ride 'em in the rain yet, and have only had them three weeks. So, wet traction and Tread Life are N/A. The stability and control of my motorcycle increased tenfold the instant I put the Sport Demons on. Mind you, I have a 86 Honda Nighthawk 700s and judging by the photos I found on the webernet... the front was original issue. And the rear tire was some knoby half breed. Anything was a step up. But I really like the Sport Demons. They Are Tight.
Good Bang for the Buck.
Nathan - July 09, 2009(Nashville, TN)
I bought a set of these tires (front and rear) to replace the stock Dunlops on my 2004 Ninja 250. After I got them installed, the 250 rode like an entirely different bike. No more wondering all over the road and I was able to increase my speed in the curves by 10 mph with the same level of confidence as riding on the stock Dunlops. This is my first new set of tires so I don't have much to compare them against, however, I would definitely recommend these tires as a huge leap over the stock tires for a good price.
good sporty tire, relatively short life
ron - August 26, 2010(miami, FL)
I’ve had stock BT45s and the sport demon, Pirelli's are stickier, but last about 3/4 as long.
These put the sport in sport-touring.
Chris F. - September 03, 2010(New Brunswick, NJ)
Installed these as a set on a 2000 Concours. Initial impression was that they wobbled too much and felt a tad slick. Ran them in over the course of about 500 miles, and they're now at the point where they genuinely feel good. Excellent wet traction, superb in the dry. They do, however, cause some decel headshake at 50mph or so. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend these for their handling and overall ride comfort at high speed. Not sure of treadlife just yet, as I've only put about 1300 miles on them in the past 3 weeks or so.
Chris - October 13, 2011(portland, OR)
After using Metzelers for years on a R100s these are a great change. Less $ and better traction. I'll take that trade off any day!
Pirelli Sport Demon
Jon Hatley - November 03, 2009(Greenville, TX)
This is the 4th set I purchased. Three were for my own bike and this one was for a customer. I like them, they are a good solid tire with close to sportbike-like traction for standards. I wish I could get a little more millage out of them. I switched to Bridgestone for my newest set and haven't decided yet which ones I like best.
Gianluca - August 28, 2012(San Francisco, CA)
APRILIA RS 50 2001. AFTER REPLACING MY STOCK TIRES FOR THESE IT TRANSFORMED MY BIKE I NEVER HAD SOME MUCH TRUST IN MY TIRE. PRETTY CHEAP AND DELIVERY WAS CAKE
seem pretty good
KGround - October 05, 2012(Tampa, FL)
Haven't had much chance to test them yet in the wet. Bought because of numerous reviews stating good wet traction. Tire quality is good and delivery so fast they were almost here before I logged off the website. For some reason I was shipped one size smaller front tire than I ordered, but I think the smaller tire is what the book would show for my bike...
Pirelli Sport Demon
Mark - May 09, 2011(Loganville, GA)
Great tire that balanced up nicely and gives me a lot more confidence in the curves and twisties. Can't really rate the wet traction or tread life because I only put about 300 miles on the tire, none of which was in the rain so I gave it a 3. I would definitely recommend this tire from what I've experienced so far.
Good tire so far
Steve - September 06, 2012(Pioneer, CA)
I havent put too many miles on this tire yet, but so far I am very happy. Corners well and rides nice.
W H - September 26, 2011(stanton, NE)
Had it just over a month seems excellent, no rain yet. Tread life is too early to say but I would recommend to anyone!
greg - March 16, 2012(raliegh, NC)
This tire is terrible ! two mechanics tried to balance this tire and were unsuccessful1! This tire is unroad worthy! i would really like another tire from another lot # and a RA # so i can give this tire back to you! thank you
