This tire inspires confidence in stability, cornering, dry traction, and wet traction. Tread life is yet to be determined. My sport bike is the 2008 Suzuki GSX650F, and I highly recommend this tire. I purchased both front (36psi) and rear (38psi) tire. Experience: Riding since I was 15yrs old. Zero track time. Training: BRC and Advance MSBC. Longest ride: 6 hours

I LOVE these tires! My RT1200 handles so much better than it did with PR2's. Precision steering. Excellent stability and feel in the turns. Traction..... No Problem ! Wet or Dry. Only have about 1000 miles so far, so cannot say much about tread life yet. Great price, Free shipping. I don't see myself buying any other tire for my bike again.

I had a new set of these tires put on in Las Vegas. The Metzeler is far more confidence inspiring both in dry and wet situations. Great price, fast shipping as long as you are only in the states!I would definately purchase another set of these Z 8's again.

I have an 09 C14 that I ride spiritedly in the twisties. I have tried Bridgestone 021s, Dunlop Roadsmarts and Michelin PR2s. The Z-8's offer the best grip and the stability is outstanding. If you don’t have chicken strips, you'll love these tires.

Recently replaced Metzeler Z6 with the newer Z8. The Z6 gave me great highway mileage tread life with good wet weather stability and confidence The Z8 feels even better in both wet and dry road conditions. Very smooth handling, very little weight to balance. High recommendations to this tire and Motorcycle Superstore for fast dependable service. Plus haven't had a product back ordered from this company in the three years of purchasing from them.

I pushed my OE tires way past their limit of 3800 miles to 6000 and after I installed this pair of Z8's I realize I am thankful to be here writing. I did not have the grip on the OE from new thru the wear curve. This set of Z's is night and day different. Grip thru the curve, thru the left turn to right turn, solid on braking and gyro feeling is minimum. The price is up there but well worth it!!! I will be your loyal customer, thanks!

Motorcycle Superstore shipped these tires to my BMW dealer for installation on my R1150R very quickly. They seem to be very good on the corners. Not many miles on em yet. Purchased these tires after reading all positive reviews.

I have had the Z8's on my bike(bmw k1300GT) for 6,000 miles now, and I love these tires. I still have tread on them, and expect to get another 1000 miles or so more! Previously I have had only the z6's, and there is no comparison between the two. The z8's out perform the z6's in every catagory by a considersble margin! I was going to try the P2's, but after reading some other reviews i'm gonna stick (pun intended) with the Z8's.

I installed this tire on my ST1300 and drove it 834 miles in sun and rain. Smooth, steady, and great in the rain! While I don't have a real sense of actual tread life, there was zero wear on my first 834 miles. I love this tire.

This is the first set of tires I've bought with the Interact technology, so time will tell how those do. I have put 50k miles or more on Metzeler Z8s in the past few years, and have always been happy. My only complaint is that once they start to wear out, they go fast.

I have replaced the set of Dunlop OEM tires on my '06 Ninja 650R with Metzeler Z8's and the difference is quite noticeable. Stability has been improved greatly; there is no grip-slip; tires a good asphalt-grabbers.
Haven't ridden in the rain, but I've heard / read exceptional reviews about wet performance of this tire.
As for the tread life, I have put just about 700 miles during last month and I can notice just a minimal wear. I really do hope to get at least 6K out of these puppies.

Riding the back roads of Napa county on BMW K 1200 rs the Z6's went sour in 4000 miles. So time to try the Z8's. Stability, cornering seems fine - traction too, tread life unknown. My only peeve is that it seems a bit iffy on tar snakes on hot days. Motorcycle Superstore has the best price & shipping from boots to tires.

I took a trip to paonia, colorado, this summer. I came back by way of Pikes Peak
and the ride up and down was great. Dispite the rain, sleet and hale and lightning that was happening on the way down. Highway 24 coming east from Pikes
Peak is pretty curvy and it was no issue in the rain storm. I am putting a second
pair Z8 on my bike when the super store gets some more rear tires for it.
These are the best tires that I have had in alot of years.

Tires are excellent. I recently got rained on here in the valley. The road may have been slick from the "new" rain mixed with the oils felt a slight slippage. Grip in corners is amazing I can't wait to see what the M5's can do as the K3's might be hard to keep warm unless going to the track. Have not had them long enough to comment on tread life, but they do not look worn also a buddy of mine has 11,000 on his current set.

Overall very nice tires. Smooth compliant, sticky in the twists and good on wet pavement. Only disappointment, they seem to wear quicker yet than the old Z6 Metzlers which so far are a favorite.

I'm on a BMW 2004 K1200RS with all the bags mounted and love these tires. They just don't waver in the wet. I'm watching the tread wear closely and keep the pressure exact. Seems some Michelin's wear better still than the Z8's. I will continue to use the Z8's as I like the confidence they instill in all weather. Pricing/shipping is good through this store too!

My husband just loves these tires, hug the mountain roads great, not sure on tread life yet just got them but will let you know. He is very pleased so far if we can get good miles out of them they will definitely be the tires we put on our 2004 BMW R1100R for the rest of the time we own the bike, Thanks for making a great tire.

Fabulous traction wet or dry. Confidence inspiring. Never imagined tires could make this much difference in corner stability on a 97 BMW 1100RT. I ride lots of curves in TN fairly aggressively. Only complaint is milage. 2500 miles off a front tire and about 3500 on the back then the shoulders are slick. Will try the Interact 8's next.

Just had a set of these put on my Buell Ulysses to replace the stock Pirelli Diablos. The handling changed dramatically Where the Pirellis rolled side to side in cornering, the Metzelers tip to the side feeling glued to that angle. The Metzeler is far more confidence inspiring that the Pirelli. This morning's ride to work on wet roads proved these tires are the right for the Pacific Northwest.

Have a K1200S BMW. Tires are everything as advertised. Great handling--wet or dry condition--just wish I could get at least 6000 miles on them. Rear tire out last's front ????? Center flattens out quicker on front than on back. Unusual considering all the power that bike produces !!! Hoping the Metzler Z8's produce better mileage.

Although this may not be helpful to others, I like 'em. They are actually too new to comment intelligently, but so far, so good. Ride with matched pair front and rear at 40 pounds each. I am ancient enough not to push the bike over to 45 degrees when cornering; my reflexes won't handle although the R1150RA will handily. Will probably replace with the same when I need new ones. Until then it's into the wind!
