I put this rear tire on and headed out for a 5 day ride in the Central, Coast and Death Valley parts of California. I put 2,000 miles on mostly smooth asphalt and choppy, bumpy roads but also some dirt, gravel, snow, water. The tire also did well at high speed sustained for 15-20 min several times same day. I've been riding for 24 years now. I ride aggressive sport touring style and use the entire tire all the way to the edge. I ride a 1000cc twin sportbike VTR1000. Throughout the trip the tire performed superbly. Excellent grip at all lean angles. Superb feel exiting corners. At the end of the trip the tire wear was pretty even middle and sides with 50% tread left. Even if you're not on a budget, this tire is great. I give it an excellent rating and will definitely get one again.

The bike sticks to the road as it should. Turns and city driving are much more comfortable with the new tires. I'm now not afraid to lean on the turns. My last tire was down to the wire so this made a great improvement. Can't beat the price anywhere in my city.

This tire was much needed and at a great value!! We went on a poker run right after this tire was put on and the bike rode great! The process of getting the tire took a little longer, than expected but I've had good service! You can't beat the selection and PRICE!!!

First to start using ContiForce tires on my RC51 awhile ago, they ended up being about the best tire i've ever used. Being on a very tight budget this year, i just needed a tire to get me by and cheap. Being that i like Continental so well, i figured worse case scenario, this tire would "get me by" for a few months. Have had the tire mounted on my 04 Buell XB12R for about a month and about 700 miles. Tire seems to be wearing very well and surprisingly i find myself diving into corners faster and faster and hard accelerating out of corners. My confidence has grown in these tires and they cannot be beat for the money. Wet traction also has been very good. I don't ride my Buell loose so i'm not sure how well it would work under loose, aggresive riding. But for controlled, smooth and fast riding.....it has been very good. Given these are "sport-touring" tires, they do have they're limits, they are not a gummy race compound tire and they don't claim to be. Drive within your limits and you'll be happy with this tire. Also recommend ContiForce series tires. Best i've used yet.

Money's kind of tight, so when I found this tire on this website for $160 a PAIR, SHIPPED, I went with it instead of buying the stock tires for my bike over again. The bike is an '07 Buell XB12Stt, and originally it came with the Pirelli Scorpion "Sync" tires ($160, just the rear). Well sometimes the sun just shines on a dog's rear. Popped these tires on this morning, and lo and behold, I'm riding a completely different motorcycle. Furthermore, we had hot sun (hot pavement) AND a quick rainstorm all in one afternoon, therefore...Stability: 5. Cornering (heavenly): 5. Dry Traction: 5. Wet Traction: 5. Tread Life: At $160 shipped "per pair", who cares? I'm seriously thinking about ordering another set just in case it was a typo and they change it. REALLY impressed with these tires. My Buell is a brand new, completely different bike today and better in every way. WOW this thing handles!

This is a great tire! I feel more confident with this than any other tire I had on before. The profile of the tire is tall so it makes my zx9r turn in more like my old 6R. A big plus for me is that this tire is soft, so street riding on crappy roads (NJ) is actually smooth and enjoyable now. For street riding, this is all you need. The wear is great so far. Even if you are a very aggressive rider and they don't last you long, just replace it. Hell buy two at a time and you are still better off then one of the more expensive supersport tires.

I just went from Michelin to Shinko to these; best Money I have spent in a while!! I maybe put 250 miles on them so far, but they are amazing.. I have done 130+ and not wobbles at all!!! (Unlike Shinkos.... super unstable!!) I really dont know about tread life, but at this price, I do not mind!! They really INSPIRE ALOT OF CONFIDENCE!!! More than my Shinkos and my Michelins PP's! I just ordered one of these tires for my SV650S and it's awesome. Taking curves labeled 25 mph with signage at 75 mph was no problem even with it being brand new took them up and did some heavy carving wore the dimples off across the whole tire in one 30 minute ride... I've ridden in the rain a couple times took a 200 mile round trip and am nothing, but happy with this tire, tread life is supposed to be amazing as well.

When the weather is fair I commute 100 miles every day to work. Getting the most mileage from a tire is what I am after. Have run 2 other brands, and now on 3rd set of these Motions. I ride a 09 Buell XB12R cranking out 84 ft. lbs. of torque, and it just eats up soft tires. Am averaging 5000 miles for a rear, and over 10,000 on the front. Try 'em out, you'll love 'em.

I was nervous about this tires with their low cost but they are working good so far. I have just over 200 miles on them and they have yet to slip. I have the strip down to 1/4 inch. I have not rode in the rain yet so I will give them a 5 for wet and tread life and will up date at a later time. I have a 06 ninja 650r and as of right now I would buy these tires again.

Wow! Was really surprised. Since I live in the mountains, Tires are required to heat up quickly. The first S curve is about 1500' out of my driveway. Was very happy with response, ride, and cornering. Mounted on my XB9R and ridden very hard from day one. Would gladly purchase again.

I ride curves at 130mph plus on my r6. I wheelie on them constantly. I have ridden these tires in the rain with no problem. They are so safe when new too. No break in period like the expensive brands. I install these tires for customers in my shop all week long. Not one coplaint yet.I personally will not use any other brand as long as the Motions are still available.I just wish they could make a full line of Motions in all sizes. Thank you Continential for such a great affordable product.

These tires have been installed on 2 Honda 600 F3's as well as a Honda CBR 1000F. I installed them on the F3's just prior to a long trip to North GA, NC, and TN for a week of riding. We put just over 2000 miles on them during that week trip. It included highway miles on the interstate as well as fun roads like Deals Gap, Cheraholla Skyway, and 28 in NC. They give good feedback to the rider and I'm really happy with them. I was Leary of the price, but now I'll be sticking with these.

These tires are AWESOME! Price point is unbelievable. 3000 miles on them and, while they show MINIMAL wear, they still roll-in like new. For the average rider, these are BEYOND adequate. IMHO, these are better than the Sportmaxes I usually use. The adage "you get what you pay for" does not apply here. Fear not, these are a HUGE bank for the buck.

Have 7.5K on front and rear. Wearing even with about 40% life left. Ride spirited in rain or shine. Commute 70 miles a day. Fast warm up in summer time. A little slick in colder temps (air temp less than 60) Lowered tire pressure to compensate and it helped. Would recommend and buy again.

Got this tire back in April as a replacement. Gotta say as a beginner rider with no experience, these tires hold up just perfectly. I've put almost 7k on the rear and on the front over 12k so far and it’s just finally starting to show a little wear. I've done everything from corner carving on the dragon and cheahola skyway, to running long trips on I-81 and 77. Even been caught in a few downpours and they still have no slip in them. These tires are the best value for your money!!!

These tires have always provided plenty of grip for me. I cannot be happier! This is superb quality for a very affordable price. Will get another set when it's time to replace my tires.

I just wore out my Continental tire on my FZ1. I got 5,000 miles and I see metal on the center. I am not an aggressive rider but occasionally enjoy accelerating hard on the straightaway’s. I am satisfied about the handling and you just can’t beat the price. I do wonder if a more expensive tire will last longer. My rating is based on my riding style.

I have this tire on a 2006 Sprint ST. The tires are are quite grippy and give good feedback. I don't ride much in the wet, but I've never noticed a problem with them. I didn't get the mileage that I was expecting out of the rear, it could be because of too much throttle input with the torquey bike. The cords showed up after about 5k miles with little warning as there are no wear bars in the middle of the tread.

I bought these tires in July of 2011, my tires are wearing now after 6k but when I first got the tires I was a little weary of them coming from the Bridgestone Btx's. After these tires heat up they are very sticky, wet or dry!! I actually gained enough faith in the tires to take an off ramp curb in the rain @ 62mph no sliding at all with my knee down. These are very good tires but I say heat them up first before doing anything drastic. Definitely a good tire though!!

These tires perform very well on my Suzuki SV1000. The cornering is confidence-inspiring and they're lasting quite well. So far I have 4,100 miles on them and the rear looks like it might have another 2,000+ miles of life left. I won't hesitate to get another set of these tires. I live in Arizona, so I can't really comment on the wet traction.

This tire really surprised me, right after installing I put 20 easy miles on it to warm it up and get the factory slick off of it. And this tire warms up surprisingly fast and rides really smooth and no wobbbles at 100+ speeds. It sticks super good in corners, I feel really comfortable pushing it to its limits. And the best part is the price. I don't know about tread life yet, as I only have about 100 miles so far, but even if it only lasts 3k miles I will be super happy.

I wanted a decent set to put on since I'm selling the bike. Turns out, these tires are solid!! I've done about 1500 miles, and they have a smooth ride. Break-in and warm ups are absolute musts for these, as the compound is harder due to it being a Sport Touring tire. If you are not really a track rider and are not planning on hitting 90 degree turns at 60 mph, then the Conti-Motion will be plenty good for you. The customer service at Motorcycle Superstore is top-notch, and since they match prices, I will be searching here first!!

I have run 2 sets of these on my ZX6R. These are excellent if you’re on a budget/student, these were made for people like me. Last one held for 6000 miles because I drove the hell out of them. They are great for everyday street riding which is what they are meant for considering I live in Los Angeles. They last as long as other expensive tires/brands but are not as sticky as them but good enough for me for a much lesser price. Sometimes I hit the Mulholland mountains and are decent on the twisties. I have 5000 miles right now and still holding up good, will purchase another set soon. Again they are good for everyday riding, not extreme riding and are not meant for THE RACE TRACK!!

Great tire for the price. If you buy them you won't be disappointed but they're not pure sport tires. Feel confident in dry corners and about average in wet. Don't push it in the wet though just drive normal. Still have them and have about 6k miles on them and still look good. Should last another 3k+ miles. I drive a cbr600 and works well. The tire doesn't heat up as quickly as the Pirelli's that came with my '09 XB12r and therefore has less grip for a little longer at start up. For half the price I still have the same riding experience and am having a ball. I have hung it out around the corners I maxed the Pirelli out on and haven't had a single problem. If anything this tire is MORE stable over every day surfaces like tar lines and patches. I would HIGHLY recommend this tire. )~b

I had Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3 tires front and rear on my bike and was shocked to see steel belts coming through my rear tire at just under 2200 miles. Not pleased with the Pirelli I decided to get the continental Conti Motion rear tire. I figured I would go with cheap tires then when they wear out buy “premium” tires to see how much difference could be felt. I have been so happy cornering and riding with the Conti Motion I might never get a chance to waste more money on a set of “premium” tires.

I purchased the front and rear tire based on the price, and had them installed on my 2000 Ducati Monster 750. Was a little nervous because they were so inexpensive. These have proved to be very solid and predictable in feel and stability. Haven't had them for a very long period of time so I could not comment on tread life yet, but have been very happy with all other categories! Great tire for the money.

Mounted on a 2003 Buell XB9R Replaces a Bridgestone BT-014 New tires ALWAYS feel so much better than the old squared-off ones that came off, it is hard to get a true sense for the feel of the new tire. However, I was very impressed with the performance of the Conti Motion right out of the box. It didn't need hardly ANY scrubbing in to get it to stick. It lacks the feel and feedback of the BT-014, but that is a sport tire, not a sport touring tire. I rode 250 miles through torrential rain (cars were leaving wakes in the water on the road) and while I could not be aggressive with the throttle, the tire responded to every input with very little drama, even at 80 mph. I can't speak to tread life, but I got 7K miles out of the BT-014, so anything less than 10K out of this tire will be unacceptable.

So far so good. I bought these in 120/70 and 180/55 for my Ducati M900 to replace a set of Avon Azaros which replaced the original Dunlop 207s. The Dunlops were not at all nice - no feel or grip. The Avons were really quite good bot rounder in profile than the Dunlops so it took a bit more effort to initiate a turn. But, lots of grip and more feel to them. Money's tight, need two tires, Conti makes decent stuff I've heard so, I try these. They are pretty fast-warming and are more triangular so turn quicker than the Avons did. Pretty good feedback. I only have about 500 miles on them so I'm still learning about them. I haven't ridden in the wet yet. Maybe an update after Fall. I got them here for less than a rear tire at most other places. Taking that into consideration, they are great.

I usually average 3000 miles on sport and even sport touring tires (I have tried Michelin Pilot Power, Bridgestone BT-016, BT-021, BT-023, Pirelli Diablo Corsa III, Pirelli Rosso). I have 1500 miles on these so far and it looks like they might make it to 5000 miles (which is really good mileage for me). Canyon carving has proved to be as trouble free as all the other tires I've tried. Have not ridden in the wet. If you are price conscious, I think you simply can't go wrong with these.

The biggest problem I had with these tires was getting used to their different feel. I had previously fitted BT45s to my FZ1. Those gave a more tippy feel to leaning compared to the Conti's. When I lean over on these it is very progressive and smooth and they feel the same at virtually every lean angle. They feel incredibly stable whatever I am doing.

I've been riding for ‘bout 10 years, I have a '03 GXSR 1k that I'm rebuilding/commuting on. These are GREAT tires for the money. Stable over tar-snakes at pretty hard lean/speed and crappy roads. I have around 2k miles on the rear, and it's hardly showing any wear. It's not a race compound elbow scraper, but I wouldn't hesitate to pop the pucks with these. Wet traction was very good. I just ordered a front since the rear is doing so well. Long wearing/VERY Good grip/GREAT Price!

Nice tire, but no tread or rain gutters cutting across the "contact patch" of tire, that was tough to tell from the photo. Will see if it lives up to the billing of all weather tire...

Honestly couldn't tell the difference between these and pilot powers. I ride hard in the corners and never had them slip rain or shine. Had approx. 2000 miles on them and left for a trip and 320 miles later the cord is showing. It's impossible to judge the wear on the rear since there's no center tread and they don't square off... Never had less than 4k miles out of a rear so I'm guessing it was defective. Front wear looks normal.

1,000 K so far(on a BMW K1200S). First of all, the stability is just as good as any other tire I've used. No issues there. 150MPH with no wobbles. The cornering is great, until you get on the "tar snakes". It feels like you're riding on grease. Not cool. Dry traction is same. Wet traction is not the best, but it is not bad. As long as you take it easy they seem fine, but I've ridden better. I gave the tread life a 3 due to only 1K miles on them. Good so far, though.

The tire so far is great. Just rode through wind/rain/sleet/snow/hail mix @ 41 degrees F and this tire performed flawlessly. Never a single smidge of a slip. 100% traction all the time. The only downer about it is, I feel my bike is 10 times more flickable. Almost like the tire is too small. Barely touch the bars and she turns... it’s different than the 6 other popular tires I have tried.

Happy with this tire at the price and what it offers. But, DO NOT PUSH IT. I'm a very aggressive rider and when it's time to hit the twisties i get a little carried away. This tire will hold up in cornering but push them too hard and they will break loose. They will warn you when you're pushing it and start to slide a little but controlling the slide is a bit of a handful. All in all this is a great tire for the price and for everyday riding and commuting.

Tried a pair on my BMW R1100RT. MUCH better than Michelin Pilot Roads when new. Unlike Michelins, these Contis don't feel like riding on ice for the first 500 miles. The Contis felt good right from the start. Tire life wasn't great though. Rear down to cord around 6000 miles and front nearly there. Which brings up issue #2 -tread pattern doesn't extend thru center of the tire so it is hard to see how much center wear there is. Still a decent value overall, so ordering another set.

Ive ran these tires for awhile now a couple on my cbr1000 and on my zx14 I have to say they grip really well in the corners however Im not really impressed with the tire in the rain they slip really easy. They are a really nice tire if your on a budget however they dont last very long at all, 2k on the rear and that is it. When you ride as much as I do you replace one about every other week. Just need something that lasts longer and grips just as well.

Good tires for everyday commuting.

I am rating these tires as an aggressive rider. The only 5 star rating I can give to these tires are for its tread life and unbeatable price. It does take awhile to warm up. I slipped a couple of times on the twisty taking sharp corners. Wet traction? Yeah right, be careful or you will eat it. Recommend for everyday commuting not for twisty or track.

I just put 840 miles On my Kawi 14 concours last trip to Las Vegas. I just needed a rear at the time. Front is a Pirelli Diabo Rosso 2. Not all that happy with the rear tire after installed the bike handles different. This is the first replacement tires. Stock came with the Bridgestones. But it is a highway tire thinking that this would be what I was looking for but my riding style is a bit aggressive. If I was not price conscious at the time I would have ordered the Diablo 2 for the rear!

This is the third rear Continental that I've put on my Buell Cyclone, and the worst by far due to the poor tread life. I installed it on Memorial Day and it is now down to the cords, in less than 4000 miles. My previous two sets were Conti Force and Road Attacks, and I got about 6000 from the Force and 7000 from the Road Attack. Prior to the first set of Continentals I ran through three sets of Metzeler Z6 Roadtecs, which gave me similar mileage. Overall I preferred the Road Attacks over the others. Although the Z6 is similar in performance it didn't seem to wear as evenly.

Ok for city driving while lane splitting, gets loose over lane reflectors, push them a little more than usual in tight twisties and they start to slide. Roll on wheelie at 20mph, they dont break loose with front wheel 1 foot off the ground.

First off I think that either the tire company and the company that sells the darn tire should have road hazard warranty . I picked up some road debris causing my tire to be inoperable and I only had it for a week so I basically wasted 105.00 for it not having a warranty.

2700 miles and rear tire shows is totally shot. I just took a 7000 mile trip across country on a set of Michelin Pilot Road 2CT's.Mostly highway and 75-85 MPH.Came home and rode another 3000 miles, 50 % on 2 lane Western NC mountain roads. At only 6000 miles per set on the Michelins the Continentals cost 50% more to use.I do NOT recommend.

I purchased 2 rears on sale. The first lasted 500 miles when a thick 3/8" bolt went right through the belts, making me question the tire's durability. One down. Second tire lasted just 2500 miles. That's it. I run a sport-tourer at modest speeds. Never had any much confidence with these tires.

Very affordable, installed on 02 Honda CBR954RR (120/70ZR17 & 190/50ZR17). Professionally installed & balanced. 42 mph, bike felt like slow vibrating jackhammer. ~100 mi on tires in 5 days. Correct air pressure, suspension standard settings. Went back to motorcycle shop rechecked balancing & trueness of the tire - fine. Tried contact Continental but no customer service number for US motorcycle tires. A bad tire & no customer service ->I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY CONTINENTAL!

I have been using the Michelin Pilot Road on my 2004 BMW R1150RT. I tried the Conti motion because of the price but was very disappointed. The front feels fairly stable but the rear would wander back and forth while riding in a straight line. It felt like I was always following a Semi! It got considerably worse in the rain. The hydroplaned quite easily. They also made a lot more road noise than any other tire I've tried. I was used to getting about 13-15k miles out of the Michelins, but corded the rear at 7800. I would not recommend these!
