After reading the reviews I was sold on this tire. And it did not disappoint! The handling is great even on wet roads. I will definitely be using this tire again and going to get the twin of it for my front wheel soon.

Decided to try this tire for a summer. I generally ride about 10,000 miles per year and use up a rear tire every year. If this one lasts the summer I'll be thrilled considering I paid half the cost of the Conti tire I ran last year. So far only 200 miles but looks good and the nubs aren't worn off yet. I might raise the mileage rating after I drive it for a while.

Not for me!

I bought these 230's (front and back) for my vulcan 800 to replace Bridgestone exedra's. Thought that I'd give them a try since they were so cheap. They were installed by a shop, mounted and balanced and all of a sudden my bike had a horrible shake. I decided to return them. MC superstore was amazing at getting me my money back quickly and I ordered some Michelins. Now no shake. You get what you pay for I guess.

Great for Vmax 85-07

Great price, great grip, looks great on a Vmax. Don't hesitate to buy. Will buy them again when worn out.

I ride a heavy bike, and I ride it hard, so I go through rear tires fairly fast. This tire has lasted as long as the expensive tires that I have tried, and it rides as good or better. This is the second Shinko I have put on this bike, and as long as they are available, I don't think I will be switching.

I installed the Shinko 230 Tour Master tires on my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50T and I am very happy with the way they handle in every aspect of riding. I have ridden in all weather conditions and temperatures and on all types of back roads and highways with no problems whatsoever. I have 6,000 miles on the back tire and slightly less on the front. The back tire will need replacing by 8,000 miles but for half the price of other tires that give me the same mileage I will stick with the Shinkos.

Got a Shinko rear tire for my 2007 V Star and am very pleased. Switched from a Bridgestone because of the price. Only 500 miles on it so far and have already tried it out in the mnts of NC. Tire grips the road and handles like a dream. Can't comment yet on wet traction or treadlife but will see soon enough. Already purchased a matching Shinko front tire to replace the noisy rough riding metzler that's only been on for a year and has dry rot cracks all the way around.

Bought a set of these tires last May. Put aprox. 2380 mile on after I put them on. The front tire held up great, still 3/4 tread. Very impressed. Rear tire, not so good. Already wore out. I mean bald. I have to replace it before I can begin riding this summer. Not even one full summer out of it. Very Disappointed! I ride a 1500 Suzuki Boulivard C90. And I need a good dependable tire. Don't think this is it. I may buy another Shinko front tire. But have my doubts on buying another rear tire.
