The XW design is compression and distortion resistant to provide the ultimate in efficiency and performance. XW chains keep your sport bike or cruiser motorcycle at peak performance.
  • Chains feature quad-staked pin riveting, solid rollers and solid bushings,
  • They are all pre-stressed and pre-stretched for better performance with fewer adjustments
  • XW-Ring Sealed Chain (GXW) are the leading edge XW-ring features a Nitrile Butadiene composite construction with 6 sealing points and 3 lubrication pools
  • The Nitrile Butadiene composite is oil and contaminant resistant creating a barrier to keep lubricant in and contaminants out
  • 100 percent longer wear life than basic O-ring chain
  • Sealing Ring - XW-ring
  • Maximum Engine Size - 1000cc
  • Wear Life Index - 1000 (wear life index should be used as a comparison for probable wear life under identical circumstances

I decided to spend more and get an x- ring chain for my hyosung 250. I am very pleased with the ease of installation (first time I have put one on myself). Haven’t put many miles on it yet but I’m very pleased so far.

After readings reviews and recommendations online I decided to spend the extra money and get the GXW XW-Ring Chain. I bought it long and cut to fit. I was unsure about the size I needed since I also got a new resized front and rear sprocket. It's a chain so either it fits or doesn't. Works as expected. The master link is easy to install with the right tool. If you have a modern super sport bike don't skimp on a cheap chain. Spend the money for the proper stuff. I got it in gold and it looks sharp on my lime green ninja.
