My 2008 Kawasaki Versys had a Two Brothers exhaust installed when I bought the bike. As set up by the factory it was running lean (thank you EPA) and had a tendency to sputter and backfire on deceleration. The Juice Box remedied this situation. Detailed instruction are included on how to create customized settings; however, I decided to begin with the factory setup for the Versys. Throttle response in more linear, and the engine no longer pops and backfires on trailing or rapidly closed throttle. Installation takes a good deal of planning but isn't as difficult as I had originally imagined. That being said, there are a lot of pieces of the bike that must be removed before the fuel injection electrical connectors can be reached. Then a lot of thought and care needs to be exercised to determine the best location for the control box and routing of the cables. Unfortunately, the photographs included with the instructions are much too small to be able to see the detail intended. Finally, I had to call the company to make certain I hadn't made an installation error because the indicator lights on the control module were not doing what the instruction said they should. When I told the tech service rep what was happening, he said it was fine and what I should do is button it up and go for a ride. So far it's been working as advertised - which is to say much better than stock.

Great product!! Can definitely tell a difference in power of gixxer 600 and runs a lot smoother even when idling. Easy to install and easy to use.

Just installed this on my 2007 GSXR 600. Works great with the shorty Akropovik exhaust. Just idling you can tell in the smoothness of the engine. Great Product.

This is a great product. I bought this for my 07' gsxr600. I can definitely feel the bike is much smoother. Since putting the commander on, I could put wings on my bike a take off.

This fuel controller came set right on for the 08 CBR1000RR with K&N race filter and Two Brothers pipe. The bike runs smoother and accelerates quicker everywhere.

I installed this on my GSX-R 1000 after reading about it in a magazine, and viewing TBR's website. It was literally a snap, with very detailed instructions specific to my model and year of bike, with pictures. The unit piggybacks onto the stock fuel injector wiring, plugging right in using OEM-style connectors. Adjustments are made using the three buttons and the LED graph, no PC or other device needed.
Pros: Adjustments can be made on-the-fly anytime, anywhere. Easy installation/removal. The control box can be installed on the dash for easy access, and is about the size/thickness of a very thin cellphone. Returns to stock mapping by setting adjustment to zero.
Cons: Does not have level of sophistication needed for racing. Cannot change pre-loaded map. Geared toward intermediate street use.
